Twice now I've gone inside for Amazon returns, and they try to upsell me on purchasing an additional box or bag on a return that is already packaged by me. Or they try to sneak in some other nonexistent fee on a free return. Presumably trying to catch someone off guard and make a few extra dollars. They use the terms "unsafe", "necessary", etc. to put unnecessary pressure on you to impulse buy. I find it extremely dishonest, and will go elsewhere for shipping needs. The employee informed me that I would need the box that the tent came in because the shipping label was adhesive. I told her I did not have the box (then texted my spouse, and he informed me that it came wrapped in a plastic bag.) Then employee said, "I'm sorry but you will have to have a box to send this back to Amazon." I informed her that Amazon specifically stated it was a drop off, no label or anything needed. She told me that I could purchase a box from UPS. I know from past experience when I purchased a 12" x 10" box it was up near $15. I refuse to pay over $20+ etc to make a FREE return. Especially since the item didn't have a box to start with. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager was a professional business woman. She stated that it would be a very easy fix and she reached under the counter to pull out a label holder that attached to the strings on the tent casing. The fix was very simple, took less than a minute, and I was on my way. I believe the manager was customer oriented. I will return when I need other services.

This UPS location is not a store…read more It's more of a package hub. So my regular UPS driver left a "sorry we missed you" note at my work shop which is also my brother's primary residence. When I went here to find out what the heck was going on, they seemed a bit unorganized. The two employees I spoke to were extremely helpful and friendly, but that only gets me so far when I am trying to help run a business. The supervisor remembered packages to our house/business address when he made deliveries. He called the driver that usually travels to that area. She seemed befuddled... The note left behind ended up being an honest mistake. It has some adhesive backing and I'm sure that's how it ended up on my porch, but it was still a waste of time. This the second time this sort of thing has happened. Quite honestly, it's frustrating because we have some very important clients who run emergency services operations, educational facilities, etc.. We don't like letting them down or postponing our work schedules when we can't find materials we have already been waiting patiently on - sometimes for months. TIPS This is the location where you might need to go if you miss a signed delivery. Otherwise, this is not a store where you can complete delivery transactions or purchase materials.
