TLDR; Do yourself a favor and go here. I had a mildly complicated bridesmaids dress from Haley Paige Occassions that I needed altered. It's this beautiful English netted dress but there were layers of netting, lining, and something happened during production and the front was pulling upwards when it was worn properly. I didn't want the dress to be overly edited because I wanted to sell the dress once I was done. I also couldn't get it altered at the store I bought it from because it was 5 hours away, so I found V through google and yelp. I wanted someone who is knowledgeable and experienced with special occasion dresses because it's a different beast than a traditional hem and strap adjustment. Not to mention, I had been loyal to another alteration place in the area and their quality of work had been steadily declining while their prices were increasing. V did such an excellent job. She truly understands the way a dress is supposed to flow and move when one is walking. The hemming is beautiful and clean. She addressed all my problems and the dress fit PERFECTLY. The pricing was absolutely reasonable for the amount and quality of work. She made me feel comfortable, heard, and the dress was finished in a timely manner. Brought a David's bridal bridesmaid dress in. Needed alterations (1 inch hem and brought in at the pleats) done in 1 week time. There was a rush charge, which I understand ($75). Total for alterations would be $255. Which is more than I paid for the $199 dress. When my husband picked up the dress a mother and daughter were picking up their dress after their quote and leaving because alterations were more than their dress cost as well. I took it to another location who had less seamstresses, got the alterations I needed and even altered the slit in the leg for me too, for $75. Completed in 2 days. Also I had an appointment made for 1 o'clock and the store was closed, someone showed up at 1:22. No communication. Staffing was friendly, so 2 stars. read more

Honestly nothing good to say about this place, firstly she did a horrible job on all 3 of my alterations, which also took over a month longer than estimated. The lady that does the alterations is pretty rude and you can tell she has taken in too my clients because she rushes through the entire process, that is evident in her alteration work as well. Ive gotten clothes altered only once (in Dallas) prior to visiting here. When coming here to get some pants altered the prices were not what I was expecting. I am unsure if my request was unusual or if I was asking for a rushed request (I needed them Tuesday and took them on the Thursday before I needed them) but when comparing prices to other tailors in the area they offered the same service at almost half the price. I ended up taking the pants elsewhere and did not get a service done here. The woman fitting me was very friendly, as was the person at the front desk. They were understanding of my situation and did not ask any questions. If not for the price quote everything else about my time here was great, I was just unable to afford the price they were requesting. My first visit, I told her everything I wanted and she said we could absolutely get it done. It took four visits to get my dress just right; she would never let me leave a visit without making sure everything was perfect. On my wedding day, all of my guests said the dress looked like it had been tailor made to me and it had. I appreciate V's eye, her precision, technique, quality work, and styling. I am happy that I have found this place! I bought a dress which did not fit me very well around the chest area and V's Alternations did some magic to make it fit me just perfectly. It was not a simple alternation and I was very happy to see that they put an effort in making the dress fit me perfectly. First, I thought just changing the lengths of shoulder straps would do. However, it was not that easy because it still showed my underwear. The second attempt was to close the V-neck with some stitches but it did not work out. Then, they suggested using some fabric that they have trimmed previously and add another layer to the pleated V-neck, so that it can provide more coverage and it finally fit me perfectly! My interaction with them made me feel that they really care about making the clothes fit best to their clients even if it takes more efforts on their side. And they were very pleasant people to work with! They only needed about a week to do my alternations, and the price was competitive. I have recently lost a lot of weight and needed my suits altered for work. If I jumped out of a plane my jackets and pants could probably keep me smashing into the Earth, that how baggy they were. Vs did a remarkable job on everything! I had to go in a few times for adjustments, which is understandable considering how much was taken out. One pair of pants was a little tight and they correctly adjusted them perfectly. It did take some time but I was in no rush, and they even gave me a discount in the end for being patient. The reason I'm giving them 3 stars is because they charged me $115 for alterations ($125 total after tax) when I needed was the sides taken in ($25), straps lifted ($35), and the hem trimmed ($55). I gave them the dress a little over a week in advance. I needed to pick it up Thursday but it was not ready so I had to pick it up the day I was leaving for the wedding. The job on it is average. I can see the stitching. The dress also had dark stains across it which I'm not sure is from them or David's bridal. They were supposed to remove the stains which was not done. I was highly recommend this place but I'm not sure if I would recommend them. They were all very sweet and understanding and Veronica was wonderful. I'm just not very pleased with the job done. I figured a little over a week would be more than enough time. I understand that a week might be rushed to some places especially since they had other costumers I just excepted a better job from the reviews read more
