I've never had any of my boots resoled or had a new heel put on them and AAA did not disappoint. They did the most amazing job. My boots were beat to hell and falling apart and they fixed them like they were brand new. The guy that does the repairs is super respectful and a down to earth guy. 10/10 recommend if you need your boots repaired

AAA Boot and Shoe Repair did a proper job resoling these for me, along with leather inserts and heel replacements on other shoes

This is where in Lubbock Texas you need to be going for shoe repair. Before I tried AAA Boot and shoe repair, I tried a western themed shoe repair shop on 34th Street, one time (and just that one time only) I had some leather soles resoled at that other place. Not only did they slap an overly thick boot sole on my thin sole dress shoe, the sole was poorly wedged together to where there was a visibly mismatched gap where the sole was to align, a distractingly noticable unskilled job was done by the other place. At AAA boot and shoe repair, David understands how to properly use the correct gauge of leather and replace a shoe sole to where you wont even be able to tell it has been resoled. You wont have to worry about encountering any evidence of unskilled workmanship. I am serious as a heart attack on insisting you go with AAA Boot and Shoe Repair. Youll be glad you did

I am just like any Texan when it comes to exotic skin boots, the more expensive and exotic the better, however when it comes to my expensive boots,I am very wary of taking it to any cobbler. My elephant skin Larry's where just about to go through the rubber on the heel,i brought them to AAA and he quoted me a reasonable price, however it had a month waiting period.I picked up my boots exactly one month later and the workmanship was superb,my boots are properly repaired, the wait sucked but the quality was worth it,I will use this shop again, just make sure you have another pair to wear.

Resoled perfectly and I'm picky! I'm so pleased I found these guys. The workmanship is wonderful!

Frank's Shoe Shop - "New" boots - this is after wearing them for a couple of weeks after the repairs.

Frank's Shoe Shop

(4 reviews)

Not sure if this place is still open or not. Both times I stopped by they were not open. I went…read moreduring the posted hours, but there was no one there. They did have a handwritten note taped to the window abut being closed until.......No clue what it said. Could not make out the words, dates or time. It was poorly written.

I am fan girling a little over Frank. I visited my folks…read moreover the holidays from NYC and started researching Lubbock area boot repair shops while I was awaiting my flight. I was wearing my inherited Lucchese boots and I WISH I'd taken a before photo. I've worn them a LOT in the couple of decades I've owned them and both back heels were worn down at an angle into the wood (to the point that wearing them was forcing my knees out of alignment), the wood layers were coming apart, the front sole toe border was worn down to where it met the leather on both shoes, the (originally dark brown) leather was dry and stripped of color in places. Arrived in LBB and mentioned to my parents that I'd looked up repair shops and Frank's had popped and they immediately knew who he is. Turns out, my dad has been taking shoes to him for decades. We called him the next day, he confirmed he was open so we went by to take my boots and a pair of dress shoes for my dad. When I plopped my boots on the counter, Frank let out a little "whoo". (I TOLD you they were in bad shape.) But, he quoted a reasonable price and even rushed the pick up date to accommodate my imminent departure. When we returned the next day to retrieve our footwear, I couldn't believe my eyes. My beloved but formerly oh-so-sad boots were once again made for walkin'.
