Last week, I took a pair of boots in again to get the same thing done. A miscommunication led to them removing half of a good sole to put on the rubber half-sole. The workmanship was far better this time, but not what I had asked for. I took them back the next day and addressed the issue. They made it right. You can't ask more than that. I left a second pair with them to have a new heel cap installed. They have earned my business.

I made phone call after phone call to the business, but was never able to speak with the owner. The employee who answered the phone always had a reason why he wasn't available. We were assured time and again that the boots were almost done. We were told they would be done way before our son graduated in May 2025. As May 2025 approached we were assured they would be ready for us to try on when we were there for graduation. When we were in Lubbock for my sons graduation we stopped by the shop to check status of the boots. The owner was not around and his wife came out to talk to us, but didn't know the status of the boots and refused to refund us for the down payment we had made on the boots. If you are considering placing an order for boots from this shop, don't. You will put a large down payment on a product you will never see.

There is a good selection and usually a nice small sale section. Pricing is above average, but reasonable for this type of store. The quality is good and something you can count on. One of the best places in town for women under 40. I also like because the staff is not nosey or pushy.
