The Alteration for a bridesmaid dress was not done properly. when we went in to get it corrected or a refund the owners daughter wanted to argue with me she kept taking in spanish so we wouldn't understand what she was saying to the seamstress however I told her I am Hispanic and and I understand everything you are saying. she was very rude and very unprofessiona. when I asked to speak to the owner she kept saying she was on vacation and would not give me her number. . read more

She put a cheap zipper in my jacket for $37, and the first time I used it the zipper broke. I asked her to replace it with a better zipper. When I picked the jacket us after the new zipper was put in she tried to charge me another $37. I refused to pay it. I did give her $20, which I wish now I had not, but then I told her she has lost my business. She laughed and said 'ok'. I guess being closed for several months has not effected her business. They charged me way to much to put a few badges on my uniform for Boy Scouts. Really 82 dollars to apply some patches. I'm use to only paying about 5 dollars for the patches that they applied for me, 20 dollars if they charged a lot. read more

do not go here! worst experience ever! i set up an appointment to get my dress let out. with looking at it they told me that i would have to come back and the dress would have to be let out in order to give me an estimate. so an another apointment was given to me. the day before my 2nd appoinment i was called and asked if could come the next day due to scheduling confilts. so i said ok so i went in and blanca was able to let the seam out and she started pinning and making adjustments after all that then she told me the estimate. its was going to cost 380.00 on a 150.00 dress. way too much. well i told her that i wanted the dress back to see if i could get another estimate and she told me that i would have to pay 100.00 to get my dress back since she let out the seam. (which took her less than 5 min) and i told her that i didnt want her to touch my dress anymore. so i told her let me think about it and that i would get back with her as to what i would like to do . the next day i called and i told her that i was never informed that there was going to be a charge to let the seam out, nor did i sign anything stating that i was agreeing to pay for it. well my aunt went in and told her that we needed the dress back and that we were not going to pay her 100.00 for less than 5min of work . she told us that she was not going to release the dress until the 100.00 were paid. she started yelling telling my aunt and cousin to shutup and she was very rude and unprofessional needless to say ... cops were called, we were kicked out of her store and was told by her that the dress wouldnt be released until 1 hr after that interaction. i would not recomend anyone to go to this place! so now im down 100.00 with an unalterd dress and very diappointed in the service here. read more

NOOOOO STARS SHOULD BE AN OPTION! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!! THE OWNER CALLED THE POLICE ON MY DAUGHTER.......Long story short....after being 4 days late from what we were originally told, we went to try on my daughters "finished" dress. It went from being too big to almost not fitting, the side wall was puckered instead of flat, the tiny hem needed at the bottom is now scalloped, the beading on the side coming off because she did not finish it, and the bustle was not even started. The owner came from the back with no shoes on and eating BBQ chips!! My daughter's face said it all! She was sad and upset. I kept it together for her at that moment and told her she looked beautiful, dropped my daughter back off at work, went straight back to the alternations shop, and picked the dress back up. I told the seamstress I was very unhappy with the job she had done and that I would pay her for her time but she would not touch the dress again. She told me she would rather fix the dress to which I calmly said she would not be touching the dress again. After going back and forth with her on this, I pointed out what was not acceptable as the dress. The dress was in the back room to which I calmly packaged the dress up, zipped it in and took the dress to the front. I waited for her to come back to let me know how much we owed her. I waited for a bit then decided to just put the dress in the car and came back in. After coming back in, I waited again. She was on the phone and talking to her employee in the back. Since she never returned to the front....I left. 3 HOURS later she calls Taylor and threatens her with the police!!! She told Taylor "we have cameras in the shop and I have called the police". Taylor calls me immediately to which I promptly call the owner of the FIT SHOPPE back.....she did not answer. I called 3TIMES and just let it ring and ring. When the owner finally answered she knew it was me because she addressed me by name.....so she was screening my call. I asked her if she remembers me offering to pay her and she said "Yes". But her young employee told her I left to which I told the owner I just put the dress in the car and came right back in. If she truly had "cameras" she would have seen me waiting up front on her for a while. I told her I was on my way to pay her and was very upset she threatened my child with the police! Once I got back to the shop, the owner would NOT come out of the back but made her young employee "deal" with me. The young employee even called to the back to ask her to come to the front to which she did not ever come. She can call and threaten a young bride over the phone but she can't come out of hiding!!! All this to say we are taking my daughters dress to a REAL seamstress today to hopefully FIX what this unexperienced crazy lady messed up. I AM FURIOUS!! IT TOOK HER VERY LITTLE TIME TO RUIN A $3500 DRESS! read more
