Awesome, that is a word used to explicit express my feelings about this place. We are here visiting from Los Angeles for the wedding of my son. We needed dry cleaning to be done for the wedding due to wrinkles and other mishaps. Not only did they give us same-day service, but everything was done perfectly. And may I say that the price was a big surprise for us. We were expecting to pay around $60 and our tab was a lot less. We are so grateful to have Tide Cleaners here in Lubbock, but I do wish they'd come to Los Angeles. The Texas hospitality was also a great joy to experience. I've been a customer of this cleaners for at least 10 years. The quality of work has decreased immensely. First strike. I took a nice blouse with food stains in & they pressed it & put it on a hanger. I took it back & asked why stain was still there. They said they'd send it back through. 2 days later I got same blouse with a little sticker unable to remove stain. I decided to try washing it & stains came out. Monday I took a two piece dress suit in. It was wrinkled from back of my closet. It was ready today. Cost $26.00. The wrinkle across the lap from sitting was still there & the jacket wasn't touched. You're better off going anywhere else. I've used this place for almost 4 years and I usually just bite my tongue because of the convenience. This time I'm just fed up. I've taken my shirts to get dried clean time and time again and every time I always still see dirt around the collar. Like isn't your job to CLEAN? How are you going to give it back to me not clean. That's the whole point. Additionally I'm not very savvy with buttons and I've taken one of my polo button downs to this location 3 times already and asked for them to fix the button as it was almost falling off. Every time they don't fix it and it's my mistake to not check before I leave but that's the only request I have when I take it in. Fix the button. I thought you know 3rd time is the charm. Well it wasn't. This time the button was completely gone and they didn't even bother trying to use one of the other buttons on the inside of the shirt. They even said they had it marked on the receipt and I even CALLED BACK after I dropped it off to make sure they didn't miss it. They just gave it back to me worse than how I gave it to them. I have previously used this dry cleaner for a little more than a year. The primary reason I have used them is that I can drop off and pick up 24 hours. There is literally no other reason to go there. Customer service: They had two young gentlemen who were always friendly and pleasant but I haven't seen them in months and the other employees have all been very curt, unfriendly, and unpleasant. Also, the two young gentlemen always remembered me whereas the other employees never could no matter how many times a week I came in. Actual cleaning and dry cleaning: The work is extremely mediocre. Nothing is ever pressed as well as other places I have been to. The work is just barely passable. Also, they never actually clean your clothes, they just press them. After I noticed nothing was coming back clean, I started washing them before I brought them in since I primarily needed my clothes pressed. Washing clothes is as simple as throwing them in the machine but I rarely have time to press my clothes at home. Many items have actually come back to me with stains they did not have when I brought them in. Also, I got one shirt back with a button that fell off immediately as I took it out of the dry cleaning bag. Obviously, all of those things should have been red flags but I needed the convenience of a place where I could drop off and pick up at any time and I still had hope based solely on the friendliness of those two employees who apparently don't work there anymore. Finally, on my most recent visit, I took a tuxedo jacket in that needed a button sewn back on that had fallen off. When I got it back, the button was sewn on but it looked awful and didn't match any of the other buttons. I think they used too much material or something because the button stuck up above all the other buttons. Worse than that, though, was that there was a different button that was now missing altogether. Obviously, at this point, I was finally done with them. I sent them negative feedback on their website. That is when they emailed me from my feedback message. As you can see from the screenshots, they messaged me but then ignored my follow up emails. I still don't know if they have my button or not and they still have not sent me a receipt. After they ignored my emails, I left a bad review online. That's when the owner, Tom Rask, sent me a text message. I have included screenshots of the text messages here as well. Apparently, Tom believed that, since I was available today and tomorrow, I was going to sit by my phone, choose not do anything else on my only days off in the last two weeks, and just wait for his phone call. Obviously, that was a dumb assumption on his part. A business professional would have let me know with notice when he planned to call so that I could plan my day accordingly. I replied to give him three options for follow-up. He could email me (as was my initial preference), he could give me notice of a specific time he'd like to call, or he could just refund me and pay to have the tux jacket fixed. His response was snark, rudeness, and condescension. Then, he commanded me to call him as if it were my responsibility to resolve his business's bad service. I informed him that I would be sharing his rude response online and he proceeded to call me. If I had wanted to talk to him on the phone at that time, I would have said so. He knew full well that I did not and so he chose to harass me with his phone call. After I did not answer his phone call and called him out for that harassment, he chose to send another rude message and to accuse me of not having a desire to discuss the experience simply because he could not force me to deal with his abuse. He then claims he did not want to message back and forth. I did not want that either! That's why I gave him three options to resolve the issue, none of which were texting. He chose to ignore all three options and instead be rude and unprofessional. I have been a patron here since they opened but lately the experience I have while either dropping off or picking up my items is not good and I will look for another place to drop my items. My main reason for posting is an employee- Dahlia - I have witnessed her being rude to other patrons as well as the rude treatment to myself and my family members that I had recommended this location to . The staff change is completely clear, previously I would have nice chats with the ladies and feel welcomed but not as of late. Customer service is a must for a business and as a small business owner myself I felt the need to post about the service I have been receiving. read more

Worst location ever. They have a curbside sign, when parked all the workers do is stare at you from counter and don't come out to curbside. They have given me extra clothing articles. They lie about why your clothes are not ready or if articles are missing. They are very inexperienced and young and don't care about the service they provide. Horrible customer service. They need to get rid of all these careless employees and retrain new staff who want to work. Poor management at this location. read more

This location use to be great recently I have noticed that either Managment changed or something. Curbside service you pull up and get ignored even when no customers are in the store. Seems like employees just ignore you and don't want to come out. Also the scanning kiosk has continued to not work, I always have to put in my info manually. So frustrating from when this nice place opened and now the service is lacking . read more

They have a valet parking pickup sign , I waited for 20 minutes no one came to pick up the Laundry ?? I do not know why they have the signs for they do not want to operate?? This has happened many times ?? read more

Do not use this place if you are expecting any stains on your white dress to be cleaned. In spite of cleaning twice they weren't able to clean a simple stain from my white dress. Complete waste of money. read more

Had to get a suit for a funeral and not only did they have it ready that same day they went above and beyond to take care of me during a difficult time. Incredibly nice and talented staff. Everything came back pristine. I would HIGHLY recommend this great company. read more

I would've given them 5 stars in the job they do cleaning.However, I am continually annoyed by the lack of response to "curbside valet." Either get rid of it or employ people who can take care of it! I think I will start to elsewhere! The costumer service not been the best! read more

Don't go here unless you're willing to risk damaged clothing. The first couple of times they repaired the items. On the third I decided that I don't want to risk not being able to replace something. And sometimes you dont have time to replace. read more

We take one to two loads per week to 98th St Tide Laundry in Lubbock Tx. We also have two Tide bags on which we wrote "no starch." We have had numerous problems with them starching our work clothes. Just picked up an 11 piece amount of workclothes. ALL of them were starched!! It is also verified by ticket which says "starch finish". I called Jacob the manager. He did not appologize. Just said same thing as always. We can rewash. That would be great if we had a months worth of uniforms. No amount of credit offered. After several years of patronage. I'm here in Lubbock while my Husband is in UMC Hospital. Had all my laundry that I needed taken care of and looked at multiple places for laundry but the ones around this area didn't have great reviews. I couldn't drive to the other side of Lubbock so I tried Tide Dry Cleaners North Lubbock. They were friendly. Made the drop off and pick up process easy. Prices were fairly priced. I have been using Tide Cleaners for a few months now and we've had nothing but great experiences. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and our clothes always come out looking fresh. Curbside is great if you have young children because they bring your items to you and you don't have to worry about unbuckling the car seat! read more
