I used to take my dress shirts to another local dry cleaning company, but they recently closed. I found Tide after a quick Google search, and saw they had pretty good reviews. I took my clothes in Saturday afternoon . . . that's right . . . they're open Saturday afternoon. My clothes were available for pickup on Monday evening (i.e., today). I pulled up to the drive thru, which was busy, and expected to be waiting quite a while. To my surprise, they had several people serving the drive thru customers; coming to vehicles, getting names, and returning with clothes. They brought my clothes out and told me there was a bag included with my clothes. I asked what for, and they said I could use it to drop my clothes off. It has my name inside and is actually a pretty rugged drawstring bag. The employee went on to tell me that I can use that bag to drop off my clothes 24 hours a day at the 24 hour drop off station toward the end of the drive thru. She also told me that you can retrieve your clothes, using a machine much like a Red Box DVD rental machine, as long as you have a credit card on file. They are open 7 days a week, have 24 hour drop off available, 24 hour pickup available, and they are professional and courteous. They were very reasonably priced as well. After NUMEROUS attempts at asking them to simply line up seams on my jeans when creasing them, they still can't seem to do that, causing 3-4 different crease lines in my jeans. I finally went to speak with the manager Jacob Jones at the main plant location (98th St) to see how we could fix this issue. His response: "we do LOTS of jeans here, and I mean a lot. If you're not satisfied with how we do them, maybe we aren't the place for you to do business". Perfect. After several years of bringing all of my families clothes here, my accounts will all be cancelled. I'm sure this isn't how the owner would've wanted this handled. But....thanks for the advice Jacob. I will indeed cancel all of my accounts. read more

We have used this place for several years. I was having a dress cleaned for an event and completely forgot to pick it up until the evening before when they were already closed. A employee Jakeb, happened to be finishing up some work and saw me struggling and went out of his way to help me get my dress even a few minutes after they were technically closed! I've used Tide for several years lately the customer service is lacking and items are getting into the wrong hands

We have been pleased in the past, but unfortunately 2 weeks ago they gave us someone else's clothes and when we called them and brought the clothes back, we were told they would either find our clothes or compensate us. Both times we have tried to follow up the employees have been very rude. We still have not heard anything about our clothes and the lack of customer service or care has been very disappointing. read more

No they do not do alterations I was quickly/rudely informed informed they do not do alterations. Why is it listed in their services I just needed my husband's slacks hemmed. Thank you Tom for offering a free hemming. I had to do a poor job of hemming them myself. I just feel if your business is open, all services listed should be offered. I understand covid has altered our lives. Maybe you should consider hiring an on site person to take care of alterations or take the service off your advertisement. Or better yet, train your people how to answer the phone and be courteous. Your business is only as good as your employees. read more

SCAM! Been dropping off here since July of 16' since then I've had to bring several things back to be re cleaned because they was still dirty, dropped off a leather dress yesterday and picked it up with stains still on it. It's a short dress but I've been charged for "full length" witch in my opinion would be a floor length dress. $48.17 is what I was charged for the leather dress and it's still dirty. They usually put a green tag that says "this stain was judged too tough to remove" but they never. No refunds because "they still tried to remove it" I can't believe I've been charged $50 dollars to be handed back a dirty leather dress. It looks to me like they hung it on a hanger n gave it back to me the way it was dropped off. I won't be dropping off here EVER again! read more

Today, trying to drop off dry cleaning, I was greeted by a very rude lady who I believe is named Jan. After looking on the website, and it stating they do rugs, AND AFTER HAVING DROPPED IT OFF THERE BEFORE AND GETTING IT CLEANED, she took everything but the rug and rudely stated she was refusing to do it. She walked into the store with my clothes complaining about dog hair loudly (which is the reason I wanted all my stuff dry cleaned in the first place). When I decided to take my business elsewhere she shoved all my clothes into my arms without the bag she had put them in, and told everyone in the store I was taking my stuff back. I was embarrassed and offended. I'm also confused as to why on the website it says under household items they do rugs when obviously, as Jan stated, they don't! I have used Tide Dry Cleaners at 4511 98th since they opened and the quality of their work is fine. I do find it annoying that the website states items dropped off by 9:00 am will be ready for pick up the same day after 5:00 pm, but when I ask for same day service before 9:00, the employees make excuses for not committing to the 5:00 pick up time. I appreciate the complimentary service of replacing missing or damaged buttons on shirts I have laundered. However, on two occasions I have pointed out the missing buttons and I am assured they will be fixed. When I picked up the shirts, nothing was done to replace the button. I'm OK with paying for the service, but if the store offers the button repair complimentary it should follow through. read more

I use them 5 days a week, but then I turn in two state uniforms on Friday and when my wife goes to get them on Sunday they say they only have two pair of pants and no tops but they won't be ready until Monday. I have been using these guys since 2020 with just a couple of issues but now I have work tomorrow and no uniforms. This is the last time I will use these people. I started using Tide Dry Cleaners the day it opened. I am very happy with their customer service. I travel for business so my time is very important when I am home. I always wanted someway to have after hours drop off and pick up, now I do. Very reasonable price especially for the superb service that is provided. They use the best hangers Really fill out my shoulder areas on my shirts. After calling several dry cleaners praying someone would have experience in cleaning a Velvet Duvet cover and not being familiar with Lubbock I had looked up reviews of Dry Cleaners and figured I would take a very expensive gamble on Tide! I dropped my duvet off with several other pieces of custom linens with very high expectations of how I wanted them washed and cleaned, they met ALL of my expectations and even called me to relieve me that it all came out beautifully! I have been using tide cleaners for a while first incident I got my shirt back and my hem was out of it took it back they my made me pay for there problem. Second incident happen when I dropped off my daughters evening gown got it back on September 5 it had a share part in the stomach area it was melted. Took it back they said they didn't use steam on it they use hot air Took it to my alteration lady she fixed it they did give me a $75 credit but i decided to not use them again! read more

I took a very nice coat to get cleaned here. I came 4 times to Lubbock to pick it up. Still had the same crusty stuff on sleeve that I literally could flick off with my fingernail. It still smelled like a musty coat closet each time. Finally today I picked it up once again, mind you after driving over 70 miles one way each time to pick it up. The stuff was gone off the sleeve but now one of the decorative buttons are gone off the back. Not one time did they offer to compensate me having to drive that far to get it and each time having to leave it. At least give me a refund of what I paid for having to have it done over and over. I do NOT recommend this place at all. At least return my button that matches all my other buttons! Disappointed!!! I expected more from Tide! read more

I went here to dry clean my comforter after my dog had an accident. I cleaned it the most i could before taking it. The employees were incredibly rude and snapped at me for bringing a dirty comforter. They said they could not help clean my comforter or they would shrink or ruin it. Average at best service but with higher prices than competitors. They have messed up 3 times, so I'm done paying more for poor service. The first time I used them they sewed a blazer cuff button to the other side of the sleeve so you could not get the arm through. It took 2 weeks to get blazer cleaned and fixed. They "misplaced" another blazer and pants on a different time and then dropped clean clothes out of the bag onto the floor with no offer to make it right. read more

This is the first drycleaners I've ever been to. I never had the need until we moved here last year and my husband needed professional attire for his new job and I was struggling to keep them wrinkle free after washing them. Anyway, long story short I will be a loyal customer to them. They are so friendly and personable! The clothes always smell amazing when we get them back from Tide and they even replaced a button for us that was a perfect match to the original buttons!
