Thanks for sealing my rock chip! Great price & great service! 5-STARS. Highly recommend! read more

This will be my third time using Lone Star Glass. One time burglars broke a window while I was out of town and were able to access the house. Foolishly, the alarm was not set. I was out of town and a neighbor called to let me know. I called LSG and they immediately sent someone out to make the repair - a neighbor allowed entry. The most recent need was a broken pane in a large steel-framed door caused by a rock from a leaf blower. They were prompt, polite, communicated incredibly well and explained the entire process. I am so pleased with them that I am happy to recommend them in this first review I have ever written! PS...I always set my alarm now. read more

Ross at Lone Star was able to replace my window within 24 hours as compared to another glass company (who I will not mention) who had me wait for six weeks for them and still nothing. read more

Eric and the guys at Lone Star Glass did a fantastic job replacing the ceramic tint on my front windshield. From scheduling to dropping off and picking up my car - they made it all the easy. Highly recommend the guys at Lone Start Glass for any window needs! read more

Top notch start to finish. A window got busted in our house. They came same day and put in a temporary pane. Kept bugs and rain out and AC in. Five days later they came back for the full repair and were done in 10 minutes. Very professional and efficient. Great neighbors and customer service. read more

Don't even bother with this company. If you're not from a rich neighborhood or you don't have a big project for them, they'll claim you're not in their "service area". They wouldn't drive 30 miles to replace my window. If they couldn't service the Houston area( which way bigger than 30 square miles) then why is their company here? Do they go to work sites on bikes or what? Maybe they think they're too big and special to service just anyone anymore. All should go elsewhere. Maybe by losing all their customers they will remember who pays their bills. read more

Set 2 appointments for site visit & estimate, first was a NoShow. 2nd appt also a No Show, No Call. Need safety glass in front doors: I stressed the urgency of this safety feature. Very Weak apology. Cancelled. read more

This is a wonderful place to work with. We have bought a shower door and several glass table tops. The product is great and works fine. We have bought a plastic moulding for the shower door and this was easy to do. In fact, this last small piece was given to me at no charge. Enjoy working with them. read more

I recently purchased 3 custom pieces of glass from LoneStar. It started with excellent customer service from Rachel (I believe that was her name) who was extremely polite and helpful. The glass was cut to my exact dimensions and I took them home to install them. It turned out I had measured wrong and called Rachel to see what could be done. She told me not to worry and she would be glad to recut the glass and no cost. This is another example of their excellent customer service and you can rest assured whenever I need any type of glass I will be contacting Lone Star Glass. I highly recommend their products and services. read more

ERIK AND RACHEL ARE AWESOME!! Helped me with a rear windshield sticker. Thank you thank you!! read more

BAD experience though I've known other people who had good experiences with Lone Star Glass. Agreed on work, set appointment according to their availability, brought the vehicle and went for a walk with my dog since they said it would be 1-1.5 hours. 1.5 hours later I call and the work has NOT even been started AND they think from that point it will now take TWO hours!! Yes, I got up early to make this appointment, YES I thought a nice long walk would work out to match what I was told, NO there was not empathy but more of a "not my problem" response when I came back and took my car away without any work done. Very unfortunate to have such a bad customer service experience especially in a city where there's too many other capable businesses to have to count on this one. Therefore, I CANNOT recommend this company - every customer and every experience counts! read more

I had some custom glass tops made for my bedroom dresser and side tables. Lone Star Glass was amazing!! Their service and professionalism was above and beyond. They are so friendly and keep in touch throughout the whole process. The glass was delivered this morning and they fit perfectly, even with the curved edges. I am so happy with my new glass tops :) Thank you, Lone Star Glass!! read more

They helped me with a shower door sweep, and knew just what to do about replacement. They are the best in customer service!

We love Lonestar glass for all of our glass needs. From custom mirrors to shower doors they can meet tour needs!

Fantastic customer service. Great place to do business. Highly recommended. Spend money local. Been here many times and never disappointed. They can take care of all your glass needs, From a simple piece of glass hard to find parts read more

These days it's tough to find any company that really cares about great customer service, in spite of the fact that it leads to more customers. There are exceptions to this, and i have a list. Among them is Lone Star Glass. Not only have they installed glass showers in my home, but have added door mirrors, large master bathroom mirrors, and pretty much everything else glass or mirror related. I never fail to recommend them to my friends and have never had a single reservation about working with them for any project, large or small. they are a unique company among many that claim to perform the same services. read more

I have used Lone Star Glass for many years, and my loyalty was confirmed recently when I needed a large mirror with cut-outs for a faucet spout and handles. The job was done perfectly and quickly. read more

Eric replaced my photo glass very quickly and was so friendly! I can't recommend these guys more highly.

Erik was awesome. I needed an unusual piece of glass for a special antique coffee table. And it had to be quick to replace the one I accidentally broke at my friends home. The glass had to be special ordered, then cut and polished. This was the week before their Christmas party, and I begged for help. Somehow Erik expedited the order and in less than half the estimated delivery time I got a call to come pick it up, with 5 days to spare before the party. Service and caring like this is very rare these days. Breaking the glass was unfortunate, but finding Erik at Lone Star Glass to help me make it right was a "very lucky break" !!! read more

I hate to leave such a negative review, but enough is enough! This company's customer service response is HORRIBLE! What an incredible waste of time for me! Every single person I spoke with was polite and seemed eager to help me with my project of shower door installation, however they NEVER responded to my requests!! Despite emailing detailed photos of the project area to them per their request, over a week passed without hearing from them. When I called to ensure that they had received the information, they admitted that they had and would have someone reach out to me on the next business day which would have been Monday. Four business days passed and I called yet again and was told that someone would reach out to me by the end of the day.... That never occurred. I could go on describing three more examples of this company's lack of response to my questions and complete failure of their employees to follow through with the information they provide, but will refrain from doing so. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company based on their complete lack of interest in responding to customer requests. With the economy as it is today, there many, MANY other companies here in the Houston area who would love to have my business! Stay away from this company, they are a complete waste of time!! read more

I have a YouTube channel and also do some Facebook live videos, so I built a TelePrompTer to help me communicate with the audience a little better. My only issue has been that I did not have the right piece of glass to do the job. After visiting several glass shops and not finding anyone who could help me, I started calling around. Finally, I called Lone Star Glass and spoke to Rachel. Rachel listened to what I needed and immediately let me know that she had the perfect solution. 30 minutes later, I got there and the glass she picked out was just perfect. I would highly recommend Lone Star Glass, they were polite, courteous and knew exactly what I needed. I just wish I would have called Lone Star Glass first. A huge thanks to Lone Star Glass! read more

As a customer for years, I expected better. I went in and received instructions to email my service request with photos. This I did and then called a day later when I received no email or phone response. Now, a week later, still no response. I understand they are probably busy after the hurricane, but as a long time customer I must say this is a change in their customer service: a response of any kind would have been appreciated, even if they told me it would be some time before they could get to my request. read more

Exceptional place! I had to get a window car replaced after someone broke in. The result was perfect. Even took the extra step to replace my review mirror after the intruders knocked it off. Highly recommend and will be taking all my future glass business here!!! read more

The team was excited to help me with a complicated project to convert a wine barrel into a minibar. They listened to my ideas then presented several options to consider. Ultimately, they custom fabricated a glass shelf and a glass tabletop to fit the barrel. They also hustled to finish the project early to make sure I could deliver the minibar as a gift. I worked with Chris directly -- he was very easy to work with and had fantastic ideas along the way. Highly recommend working with this team if you are working to complete a custom table with glass involved. Reasonably priced as well! read more

After doing research on various places (to which many had mediocre reviews), I ended up being referred by a friend to a guy named Eric. After follow up calls from Gilbert and eventually Rachel, I was reassured that my Lexus GS' front windshield would be taken care of. Not only was the customer service very pleasant, the workmanship on the new windshield replacement was clean and immaculate. To say I was impressed would be an understatement. I've read of many places that either lack the quality of work or perform poorly on communications with customers or "potential"customers. These people here nailed both and hit it out of the ballpark. No leftover glass shards, careful removal/transfer of stickers, alarm, etc. The quality and effort that these folks put forth on my vehicle, I will happily do the same and share my recent experience. Highly recommended! read more

This place is friendly and professional. I brought in my 4runner becuase a of recent window issue and Gilbert fixed it within ten mins. I had duck tape on my window with all of the sticky residue on it and he even cleans it without me even asking. Any kind of window i ever have will be brought to this trustworthy business read more

Amazing! LSG replaced my large bathroom vanity mirror with a new beveled edge one. It looks fabulous and the installers were very efficient. Great job! read more

This place is AWESOME! I was visiting Houston from out of town and unfortunately someone broke into my window to steal items from my vehicle :-( Lone Star Glass stayed 1 hour after closing to weatherproof my vehicle for the evening due to the weather. They found a replacement window for me first thing the next morning and got me back in business. I would highly recommend them for any glass needs. read more

I had two showers enclosures installed by Lone Star Glass and I was pressured for time. They did an awesome job meeting my needs in a short period of time. Their work was pristine! Thanks again Lone Star Glass! read more

Absolutely wonderful customer service and know how. I'm very impressed , especially with Rachel at how she took a mirror cracking incident that seemed like a mountainous task to a well known competitor and detailed a solution plan with such confidence and technical accuracy. Every time I come in the front desk employees are always friendly. Every time I've used them, the service and end results are more than satisfactory. I highly recommend this company. read more

Courteous and fast but a bit steep considering I just had a 6-5 inch piece of frosted glass I needed to replace, but then it could have been a more expensive cut. They got me out of a jam and I was on my way however. read more

Anything glass - this is your place! I've heard great reviews on everything they do, but I've been here to get windows fixed on my cars after break ins 5+ times. Their tints are amazing, their pricing is more than fair, and their staff is local and kind! Couldn't recommend more. read more

As a clumsy person, I have frequently needed glass replaced on the frames for my art. I tried to get a quote at Michaels, but the gentleman at the frame shop there straight up told me to go here instead. So I did. I got a very reasonable quote on my first picture, and since then have come here for all of my glass replacements (sadly, there have been many). The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the service is excellent (depending on when I came, I could often sit and wait for a few minutes after I brought it in and they'd take care of the picture right then and there). And like I mentioned before, the prices are extremely fair and I would guess some of the best you'll find. They'll even install the glass for you for a small fee, though you can choose to just install it yourself. I haven't had to buy glass for any other reason so far, but if I do, this is the place I'm going. read more

It's never a good thing when your car gets broken into. The sinking feeling that something is gone that might be irreplaceable and you've never been safe parking in your neighborhood is a hard thing to swallow, but it comes with the territory of living somewhere as cool as Montrose. I heard about this place from my father, who's a pretty knowledgeable car guy. He gets all his glass work done at one of their other locations. I expected at least $500 worth of work to replace my passenger window and tint to match the others, but I walked out of there only paying $245 for the whole thing. It was actually cheaper than going the insurance route to get it fixed. I had more than enough money left over to replace my iPod with (actually) a better one that I found at a pawn shop. The repair took about an hour or so and when they were done you couldn't even tell that anything had happened to my truck. They even vacuumed out the broken glass in the interior. They did immaculate work. When I talk about the incident now, I equate it to essentially spending $400 to replace my iPod. That level of peace of mind was something I didn't expect, and I have Lone Star Glass and their friendly and professional employees to thank for it. Now to decide what to do with all the showtunes and LFO that the previous owner of this iPod loaded it up with... read more

So I had a guy install a new bathroom in my house. Everything was ok, but the shower door was a disaster. I didn't realize until later how incompetent that jerk was. After dealing with loose screws and tilting door for months, I decided to call Lone Star Glass to fix it. On the evaluation visit, the gentleman didn't say that it was a shitty door job, but his face said it all. He said that he could replace it, and gave me a quote. The job was done the next week. Just as discussed, price was great. They did a wonderful, quick job. I waited a couple of months to write this review to see if anything started to fall apart. It hasn't. The door works marvelously and I don't have to worry about leaks & tilts & aggravation. Would highly recommend for shower door installation/replacement. read more
