This coffee shop was a short walk from our hotel so I ventured out for an early latte. On a Tuesday morning around 9, there was one person working and quite a line. They were polite and kept it moving as best they could. My caramel latte was okay. Interior decor is kitschy and welcoming to all. I liked the space more than the drink.

Cozy and cool coffee bar has all the caffeinated classic drinks and new drinks flavors. They were well staffed and friendly. Our drinks took a min to make but they gave my muffin at the register. They have plenty of sitting in the back. Our drinks are were delicious and my muffin hit the spot.

A neighborhood feeling type coffee place. I walked here from our hotel (lytle park) it took about 15 min. They had a patio with two to three tables and an umbrella in case you don't want to be in the sun. Alternative milks were an extra dollar. Staff was alright not over-ally friendly but more subdued. I noticed they have alcohol too so the scene may be a different vibe later at night.

Lola's is sick!! We just checked out Lola's for a midday coffee pick-me-up, and besides the large array of available coffee options, there was also a whole bar with different draft beers, plenty of seating, and the whole restaurant had some cool, inviting, and relaxing vibes! I ended up getting a sugar free vanilla latte, as well as a French toast latte, and both were spectacular definitely recommend Lola's

Stopped in to start my day with a cuppa Jo before venturing out in town. Ordered a scone and a cafe mocha. Saw pastries advertised and asked what they recommend, they said everything. So I went with the scone. It was warmed up and bagged for my to-go order. As I waited at the pick-up area for my mocha, I realized they serve beer in here also! Pretty neat place had cozy seating areas within. Very farmhouse feel. Located close to the baseball stadium and the hotel we were staying. Scone was bland and mocha seemed watered down. But I am from out of town and perhaps comparing to what I am used to may be unfair as to compare with other coffee spots within the local area. Starbucks coffee is across from my hotel and it was nothing different from the Starbucks I am used to where I'm from.

Wow, Lola's is AMAZING!! We tried several coffee spots in Cincy and this one was the best by far. We got iced coffee, iced matchas, gluten free banana bread, and a breakfast bagel. All of it was fabulous. The barista was friendly, and the decor in this cute little place was so cozy and fun! We ended up getting stickers and a t-shirt too because we just loved this spot so much. The building is brick with a garage door entrance and there is indoor as well as outdoor seating. Another thing that stood out to me was that the other customers were friendly too! We met a guy and his dog, Cashus, as we were walking in and it just gave small-town-friendly vibes in the middle of a big city. Love!

It's hard for coffee shops to stand out in this overcaffeinated society. Lola's knows how to serve strong, hot lattes, and they do it extremely well. An impression was made. Congratulations Lola... you are officially A Real One. Easily 5 Stars.

Excellent, unassuming coffee shop near the stadiums downtown. There are a few seats outside for when the weather is nice, and booths, bar counter, and armchairs inside. There are packages snacks to buy as well as a selection of baked goods. We had a blueberry scone and spinach croissant, both of which were excellent. The medium roast brew was good, as was the flat white. There were books and board games in a small bookshelf for general use, and a TV in the corner playing cartoons. We loved our cozy coffee break here!

Really nice person (I don't know how they identify, but they appeared to be an AAF.) Anyway, very kind person. The other shorter person wasn't so interested in being kind but that's OK because I didn't have to interact with them much. I wasn't a big fan of the coffee, it had a very chemical taste. I wouldn't go back.

My boyfriend and I had the plan to grab some coffee to begin our day yesterday. Rather than stop into Starbucks which we get all the time, we wanted to try somewhere local, being from out of town. The ambiance is hipster and trendy. It's super cute inside. The line was long and moved a bit slowly, but we had time. When we got to the counter, we were greeted by two workers. They seemed to have their hands full but they were friendly and moving at a fast pace. I ended up ordering the seasonal Desert Rose (cayenne, rose, dark chocolate) as a hot latte with oat milk. I absolutely loved it! That kick of spice went perfectly with the dark chocolate and rose flavors. I also got an Almond Nutella Croissant, which was flaky and yummy! Surprisingly, it wasn't super sweet. I think it had some cream cheese mixed with the Nutella inside to cut the sweetness of the Nutella down. My boyfriend got an espresso which hit the spot, and shared the croissant with me! We really enjoyed everything. Thank you!

Exquisite coffee , even better service . Seating options are exceptional paired with a stellar barista in the name of Jordan ! Makes your stop in worth while every time .

I really liked this coffee shop (plus bar!) in downtown Cincy! It has a cool, relaxing vibe and has friendly staff to help get what you need. I stopped by one morning before an event I was attending started. Because this was one of the places that was open early on a weekend, I was able to grab a coffee drink and a few pastries to enjoy that morning (and as snack later during the day). Through conversations that the staff had with customers, it was clear this place is well loved by the neighbors and community. The staff and customers even know each other on a name basis! Overall, great cafe with good, friendly vibe! Good coffee+pastries for morning eats, too!

Even more extraordinary was the massive selection of alcohol free beers. I've never seen anything like it. Though the partiers lingered a bit, we were able to snatch a comfy table for two by the window. It's the perfect spot for two. Unfortunately I don't recall what I ordered, though I'd remember it if I saw it. Mark had a AF beer and he really enjoyed it. I tasted it and it was delightfully unique. The selection of beer to purchase and take away was huge. I intended to return after dinner, but it was cold and I was too ready to go home. The gentleman running the place was super helpful even though he was managing the party and the remaining party guests as they cashed out with drinks to go. We will most definitely return!

I've made my way through the entire menu (food and drinks), and there honestly isn't a single item I wouldn't recommend. Everything is consistently spot on every single time. That kind of reliability is hard to find, and it's exactly why I keep coming back. That said, a few personal favorites stand out. The goat cheese flatbread appetizer is a non-negotiable. It's the kind of dish you order "for the table" but secretly don't want to share. The cacio e pepe and pasta rustica are also incredible and always hit. As for drinks, the seasonal espresso martini is always a go-to and never disappoints. But my personal favorite is either the regular old fashioned or, when I'm feeling myself, the wagyu old fashioned... especially if Scott is behind the bar. Our next trip to Cincinnati; It will be extremely difficult to stay away from here. We spent the day in Newport and around Cincinnati and wanted somewhere nice for the occasion. I was iffy on this place at first... you can throw a rock all over America and hit a place with 'Barrel' in the name these days. The Yelp reviews swing both ways here but I'm here to tell you my take... because it swings so far towards the 5 stars that it's very much a 6 or 7 star place(maybe more). We gauged our arrival time based on other activities that day. We wanted ample time at the nearby Lego exhibit so when we arrived there, we made a reservation for 4:30-5. Eating early and making our way back to Louisville was a great idea. The entire time we were there, no one else came in so we had the entire place to ourselves(It was a Friday). The atmosphere is homey but during busy times, I could see it being noisy. The booths could easily fit 6 people comfortably... probably 8 in some cases depending on how wide some of you are. Special Note: This place highlights The Parrillada Experience for Two on their menu and we wanted it! We didn't order it because at a price tag of 130-and pictures online, we didn't want it to be a failed outing. After our first trip, The Parrillada Exp will be on the agenda next time. It's a mixture of different steaks, sausages, shrimp, sides, and salads. Definitely worth the cost. On to the food: Sausage App - Argentine Chorizo. Farmhouse Sausage. Grilled Ciabatta. Hearts of Palm. Green/Red chimichurri. Pepper Relish. I don't like ordering this type of dish when I go places because you never know if it's going to be delicious or very bad. It ended up being super delicious. We couldn't make up our mind which sauce we liked the best and which meat we liked the best. App PERFECTION! Land and Sea - This is what my wife went with. Asada Skirt Steak. Jumbo Shrimp. Asparagus. Red chimichurri butter. I had bites of the shrimp and it was good. I had to save room for my dish. Wagyu Denver Cut - I went back and forth. Lobster ravioli being on the menu almost made my decision instant but I was going back and forth between ravioli, steak, and a few other things. I asked the server which he recommended of the 4 Chef's cuts. He recommended two... one of which was the Wagyu so I went with it. I wasn't disappointed AT ALL. He mentioned that the Wagyu Denver Cut was a new addition to the menu... I'm not sure but you could definitely tell it was cooked, arranged, and presented with care. I savored every angle of every bite. We also ordered a side of brussels because of course! Originally we were going to dessert somewhere else but went ahead and ordered the Hazelnut Vanilla Creme Brulee here. Perfect ending to the meal. This brulee was light and had the right amount of crunch. It was also larger than expected. We had no complaints with this place. Easily one of the better restaurants I've had in Cincinnati. If you're doubting visiting this place, take the dive! Other notes: They have beer and a small cocktail variety but they primarily seem focused on wine(plenty of options to choose from).
