Love this place! My favorite coffee in Ladera and a great place for a leisurely breakfast. High quality all around!

Holiday Butterscotch Latte was absolutely amazing! I'm not even a huge Latte drinker and I couldn't believe how delicious this was. It wasn't too sweet and had these crunchy tiny butterscotch nibs throughout. The chopped bits of rosemary added a special touch. Will definitely be back to try the other lattes! I also had the chicken sun dried tomato sandwich. It was served warm and had great flavor served on a crunchy roll. Was small for the price but the portion was perfect with my Latte. Husband ordered the kale salad with added chicken. It had great flavor but would have been better if the kale was consistently and evenly chopped. Some of the kale was left in large pieces and was not as appetizing. Cons: Prices are high. Must order at the counter. Tables fill up quickly, during peak hours I could see this as a problem. read more

Update everyone (because it necessary to give feedback from time to time). @Lola's Cafe, you guys NEVER fail me. Yesterday I came by inches to closing and wanted to do it differently than I usually do. In the mornings I come by to rock the always special Lavender Latte. The sun is coming down and I wanted to try a Garage Brewing Co. Mango Hefeweizen. Well, I enjoyed every sip and minute drinking it while your awesome team let me in, allowed me to take my time to enjoy while they prepared for closing. Matt and Ava taking a much deserved day off but nothing changes in their absence, the experience remains AMAZING every time/anytime. Thank You yet again for what you do! Jason read more

Yummy little locally-owned spot and the ingredients are always really fresh! I wish they would bring the zoodle salad back. Their breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito are delish! read more

Their pastries and coffee are amazing!!! However I have had several of their breakfast and lunch items and to me it's not worth the price in regards to how much food you get in return. They do serve food with high quality ingredients which is great, but I would definitely recommend just getting coffee and a pastry when you go. read more

Lola's Cafe - Everything croissant is amazing - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Ladera Ranch, California

The owners are so nice and even when it's busy the customer service is always awesome. Quality is fantastic and there are options for gluten free or vegan etc. I can't wait to try the flatbread made with cauliflower, so many tasty options. There are not many options in Mission Viejo or Ladera that aren't crap or a chain, so I'm super grateful for this place. read more

Love the food and drinks here. Consistently seems understaffed--but staff always seem to be busting it to meet customer needs.

Excellent! I love this place!! The food is fresh, healthy, and great tasting. The employees are warm, friendly and helpful. The owners are wonderful people who are very service oriented and enjoy getting to know their customers in order to create a family atmosphere. It feels like being welcomed into your best friend's home. read more

Great food, great service and great atmosphere!! It's like the Ladera Ranch version of Luke's Diner, but the owner wears his hat facing forward (and isn't cranky) read more

The food is delicious! And while that's a huge plus the service is so slow that when someone is on a lunch hour it's way too unpredictable. Need more cooks or something! read more

No brunch. Breakfast ends at 11...nothing in the place says that, not even the menu. So we stood in like for about 10 minutes just to find that out. They are super friendly... The line was not that long. They talk a lot to the customers, which is not a bad thing. It just made asking that 1 question ridiculous long of a wait. Food looks good on pics. Just don't think I am willing to drive that long again for fake out brunch. They just don't have one. read more

Love this place! Great breakfast menu, the owner is super nice and has a great hometown feel. Only cons are it's impossible to find seating many times and the portions are a little small for the price. read more

I looove Lola's! Tuscan chicken sandwich with extra house-made pickles is my fave! Seating is a little tricky on the small patio but so worth it. The flavors are decadent, bread is perfect. read more

The BEST cafe in OC hands down. Not only is the food delicious and esthetic, but the cafe is the cutest. The owner is always so friendly and is so accommodating to any allergies or food modifications. I'm allergic to dairy and he made me a custom crostini without cheese on it, just so I had something to dip in my soup! My favorites from here are the tomato soup and the turkey club. My husband loves their breakfast burrito! You honestly can't go wrong with any choices here!! read more

Their grilled cheese is pretty amazing! So delicious! I haven't tried their coffees yet, but that is next! The only bummer is that the side patio isn't heated so on cold days (like the 10 we get in SoCal) it's pretty miserable out there. Lola's is definitely a delicious cafe! read more

The avocado toast us to die for! I took away a star because of their bizarre kitchen closing, you can only get certian tems for a very short amount of time. My husband and I typically eat brunch around 12 which means I dont get any of my favorite items on the menu, which pretty much means I haven't come here in forever. Pretty bummed, eggs aren't expensive or hard to cook. read more

Amazing food, adorable setting, good service. Wish our community had more places like this around!!

I was hungry early on a Sunday morning, and this was one of the few places in the area open for breakfast/brunch. I ordered at the counter and found a table outside. My food was brought to me faster than the quoted time. I ordered the lox baguette. The food was good, but I was a little disappointed that my baguette wasn't assembled for me. I could've used more mascarpone, and the baguette was a little too charred for my taste. Pros: service, pet-friendly patio, wait time (or lack thereof) Cons: portion (I definitely could've eaten more), price - I normally order coffee on weekends. The lavender latte sounded delicious, but I couldn't talk myself into the treat after spending $13 on the lox baguette. The iced version was priced at around $6, and I'm annoyed in general when places increase price for the iced version. Oftentimes you're getting less product because the cup is mostly full of ice. read more

Such friendly service and fresh delicious brunch items. Love that we have this in our neighborhood!

Just arrived from the UK, and was looking for a relaxing cafe to have lunch with my wife. We were not disappointed . Brilliant staff and service. Our roasted turkey club sandwich hit the spot! We will return without doubt . Definitely recommend this great cafe for a very relaxed breakfast or lunch. We will be coming back this week for certain. read more

Do not miss the Brie, fig, sliced green apple grilled cheese sandwich...It was delicious! Service was great and the atmosphere is very appealing and open. read more

Lola's is great. I actually found it on Yelp when looking for a new breakfast place to try. Although they are usually busy, their service is quick and their food is really great. Their menu is fresh and different from most breakfast/brunch places around. I love their coffee and the set up of their restaurant is great. Never too hard to find seating and the food and drinks come out quickly and have never disappointed. I would recommend to anyone looking for something just a little different and more personal than chain restaurants. read more

Our favorite go to spot in Ladera Ranch. Amazing selections and superior quality of food.

Our favorite breakfast spot! The ice teas are delicious. Really want to try the hefeweizen as well.

I love the quality and variety of the food and drinks here. And the owner and employees provide a lovely personal touch to their service. It feels like a special place and I keep wanting to come back day after day. Their catering is outstanding as well. My only complaint is they are closed Mondays or I would be there 7 days per week for lattes and breakfast. read more

Tried this place after getting a haircut a few doors down. I had the (Turkey) bacon and egg sandwich and my wife tried the tuna. Food was very good and my wife loved their green tea. All in all a winner except... We sat outside and the flies were a nuisance. The side of the patio we sat on was covered in bird crap rotting berries and feathers which I'm sure draws the flies... Get your landlord to clean your patio and keep it clean! Other than that we'll be back!!! read more

Good food, great location, and amazing owners. I always seem to have a great time eating there, and the owner connect with their customers really well. read more

I rarely do reviews but I have to make an exception. Lola's was outstanding! The owner was taking orders and gave me lots of recommendations based on my tastes. I went with the Rustico flatbread and it hit the spot! Service was great and lots of smiles on everyone's faces. read more

Incredible food, trustable ingredients, and great service. Breakfast burrito had a spinach tortilla that presented with the consistency of a pie crust somehow but still nice and thin. Delicious turkey bacon inside the burrito with some wonderful sweet potatoes to accompany it. Eggs in the burrito were cooked perfectly as well. Would highly recommend. read more

Yes the food is pretty and all but the tastes are just blah... First of all everything is gluten free so things are just different. I guess we're just not those type of people lol. I ordered the egg and bacon sandwich which looked good when it got to the table after 20 minutes, but the egg whites were very runny which is an indication of undercooked egg. My wife ordered the avocado toast and again it looked pretty but the toast was cold and there was no bacon on it. We added bacon to it when we ordered it. When we asked about the bacon not being there, they actually said that they made a mistake and never charged us for it and they actually asked for a credit card to charge the bacon!!! Over all every thing was just ok nothing too exciting... read more

Great place for lunch, unique menue. Owner amazing came outside to our table to return $1.00 we we're over charged by new cashier, amazing. Treats every customer like life long patrons. read more

The owner Ava is reached out to me and I decided to try Lola's again. I'm sure glad she reached out because the 2nd time around was completely different. Wait was not bad at all, service was amazing, food was so good and I just had a great experience. I had all 3 of my kids and they all ate up their food in about 5 minutes and asked for more! This place is perfect for me since I'm unfortunately allergic to gluten and dairy. I will be back for sure... I bet this will become my weekly lunch spot. Highly recommend! Thanks Ava for being so sweet and accommodating read more

The first time I ate there the smashed avocado sandwich was sublime. So the next time I went back it was a big disappointment bc the SS which tasted no where as good as the first time. Consistency is a big plus when you find it. read more

If I lived closer, I would eat here all the time. They have quite a few GF items, making it easy for me. I love the GF avocado toast. They get it just right. Everything on their menu looks good but I keep going for the same thing. We are usually out and about, taking our dogs some somewhere so we just run by and grab a to-go order. read more

I LOVE LOLAS!!!! Ahhh everything about it is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and sweet and the food tastes so fresh!!

This place has been towards the top of our "gotta try it" list for a while and we finally got the chance to go. The place itself was nice and had a good energy, being our first time and being healthy eaters we asked for recommendations from the owner and he said people go wild for the veggie wrap, and he also recommends the veggie sandwich with Brie. So, I chose the veggie wrap and my gf got the avocado toast. Our food arrived about 10 mins later, and here is my problem... One bite into the veggie wrap and I was immediately disappointed. It was pretty bland and it was falling apart all over the place. The owner happened to be walking by and asked how I liked the wrap, and I very honestly told him that I didn't like it and should have gone for the veggie sandwich with the Brie. His response was "Welp, live and learn", and walked away. Really?? That's how you respond?? No sir, YOU live and learn that this is not how you treat customers. Yes, I picked the wrap, but it was my first time and I didn't know what to expect. You're running a cafe where your #1 goal should be happy customers, not having a "sucks for you" attitude. You know what I would have appreciated? Him saying you know what, let me bring that other sandwich out for you on the house, I'm sure you'll like it better. Or, here's a cookie or pastry. Not, "live and learn". I mean for what he's charging for avo toast and a wrap, he can definitely afford it. Consider this YOUR lesson Mr. Owner that if you treat people well and with respect, you'll get more business. Treat them like kids, and you get 1 star. Enjoy read more

I can't believe it's been 4 years since I found Lola's and I can honestly say it's a staple! The excellent quality of both the food and customer service is unwavering. I have never left without a smile on my face! Thank you for always making my day! read more

We LOVE Lola's Cafe! I must say, I'm probably there far too much, but at the same time I'm not sure that's possible! The staff is so warm and welcoming, like friends. The coffee is top notch, delicious, and full of homemade flavor varieties. The food is out of this world, my favorites being the vegan breakfast burrito (and I'm not even vegan!) and the breakfast power bowl! Make sure to ask Matthew the owner about any new favorites, he always has something awesome to recommend. read more

At Lola's Cafe an experience matters. Every detail has been thought out from the best of offerings for your appetite, relaxing stress-free environment, to the highest standards of excellence in customer service. At the heart everyone is naturally personable; something especially missing in most brick and mortar businesses. Most importantly they CARE. A few days ago I was sick and as usual the team cared about my day. They asked again, as they always do, how I was and made recommendations as they always do to put me back on track to better health. Hats off to you for making my day everyday! You can't buy this on Amazon read more

Best vegan breakfast burrito in OC! Staff is super friendly, only downside is limited seating
