They did call back... but the call went to voicemail, and they did leave a message. When I arrived, they managed to figure out that the garbled call was for my prescription, and were genuinely apologetic that they were not able to fill it. I let them know it was not their fault, and that I understood. I sent my doctor a text about it, and he called in the order again... and I picked it up the next day. Brad, the pharmacist at Palma Ceia Health Mart Pharmacy, DOES. Brad knows my whole family now. He will move heaven and earth to make sure we have what we need. Brad does. I can't believe I haven't written a review before now. I have been using Palma Ceia Health Mart Pharmacy for six years or so. My loyalty was reinforced when, unfortunately, I had to visit CVS a year ago to get a prescription for my mother. It was practically a fulltime job to stay on top of them to get what she needed. It took days and multiple visits and phone calls. They were horrible! After that, I immediately moved all of her prescriptions to Palma Ceia where Brad cares about my mom as though she were his own! I was in this neighborhood for about a year and regularly frequented this location on a daily basis. My children and I enjoyed the produce so much that it kept us pretty healthy. I first discovered one of my favorite desserts here, which is the tres leches cakes. So the bakery is just as amazing as the produce section. I never had a bad experience with any staff despite coming to this location as often as we did. I actually lost weight from eating so healthy despite treating myself and my children to the fresh tres leches cakes! There's ample parking in the covered garage and a nice dine-in area that we ate at often when we couldn't wait to dig into our items.

But I did end up saving money by getting my prescriptions through him, and that is a really good thing for someone that is on a fixed income. So if you're okay with getting your prescriptions during normal business hours during the weekday I would go ahead and give this guy a try, it's great to see local businesses startup, and people should give him a chance. OLD REVIEW: I found this pharmacy because I use GoodRx and it suggested that I could save some money if I moved a couple of my prescriptions from where I normally get them to this pharmacy, so I went ahead and had them transfer the prescriptions and told them that I was running out of my meds. I would think that a pharmacy that handles people's medicine and get some brand new customer that they would let them know that they're closed on weekends. Most people who have health insurance usually do so because they have a job, so it may not be easy to go there only Monday through Friday, especially when they close early. Now I need to wait until Monday to get my meds, and it will have to be after work when I go there, but after I get them I will transfer my prescriptions back to a pharmacy that keeps me informed, and is open on weekends so that I can work my regular job and be able to pick up a prescription during non-working hours. It's such a shame, because I had asked them if they were an independent pharmacy and they said that they were, but if you want to have customers that can afford to buy your product then you need to be able to be open when someone who works is not working. I didn't see a Yelp listing for the vistara pharmacy in Pinellas county. It is the Pinellas county facility that I called my prescription to. But I guess the one in Tampa also has limited hours so basically this business model only uses hours that would be normal regular working business hours for someone that has a Monday through Friday job. Nowadays if you want to try to get a customer, you need to be open when a customer can come in.
