This used to be a pretty decent laundromat, several years ago. Unfortunately, since then the owner has upped the prices considerably and let the place fall apart. It's pretty rundown and grungy inside now. For the price he gets for the machines he could afford to put a little effort into making it a much cleaner, pleasant place to do laundry. A fresh coat of paint, new ceiling tiles and floor and a renovated restroom with a toilet seat not sitting on the floor would help, as well as fixing the numerous machines constantly out of order. Definitely do not recommend this laundromat anymore. There are others in Flagstaff that are nicer and even a little less expensive. I don't know where the owner is spending the money he gets from the increased prices, but it's certainly not on the property. Minimum wage has gone up in Flagstaff, but the one attendant on duty more than covers their wages by doing all the drop off laundry services included in their duties. Regular household size washing machines are $3.25, pretty comparable to others around. The medium size is $5.75 which is pretty high. The dryers are where he really makes his money though. The first six minutes of dry time is $.50 and another $.25 for every six minutes after that. I recently was highly recommended to try out another laundromat on the east side behind Burger King next to Mandarin Garden chinese restaurant and there is NO comparison, it's like night and day. Less expensive, beautifully maintained inside with no machines out of order, with an attendant whose only job is keeping it clean, and no extra drop off laundry done at this one. It's a little more out of my way but so worth it! Regular household size washing machines are $3.25, medium size only $4.75 and the dryers are a straight $.25 per seven minutes. I'm off now to write a 5 star review on that one! read more

The woman behind the counter was so rude I had to leave, she was gossiping with a customer when I came in so I waited patiently at the counter. She approached and aggressively asked "are you in a hurry "? replied "no. " ( I was simply standing there waiting. ) she said "well you seem angry ". I did not bother to respond so she started to give me change. She gave me the incorrect change and then proceeded to yell at me that it was my fault. I left and went to White flag coin op laundry. ***Serious Bleach Warning*** I've created a yelp account expressly to send this warning. The Loggermat has a serious issue with people using bleach in their machines. Three out of the last four times that I've washed clothes there I've had a blue item come out with orange spots. I swear that I'm not exaggerating. Today, while waiting for my laundry with my family, the worker started to get after my son for standing in the area that I am posting a picture of. This is an area that I have always seen kids playing in and no one has ever said anything until my son did it. The only thing he did was stand there, watching the baseball game that was playing on the TV. It seems like he's being targeted for being a Native American teenager. This worker didn't speak to me about it but confronted my son rudely and tried to touch him. She claimed that there's an exposed conduit. If this is such an issue, why isn't the area blocked off? Why was only my son verbally attacked? This is a clear case of racial profiling, prejudice, and discrimination. I, and my husband, are beyond furious. This is an OSHA violation to have an exposed conduit where children are going to be playing. I tried to speak to the worker and, at first, she was going to give me the manager's name and number that I requested, but then she became confrontational when my husband walked up to me. She threatened us with the cameras and her voice recorder. She also insisted that my son was female due to his long hair which shows her racial discrimination and prejudice. She didn't like it when I corrected her. We kept telling her that it's an OSHA violation and she said "oh so that's what you're going to do" and "that's the route you're going to take". I asked her to be more professional and she made a rude, snarky remark back. This entire fiasco was uncalled for and shouldn't have happened. She could've and should've spoken to me in a professional manner and asked me to have my son move instead of going the route that she went. read more

Pretty good as far as working machines go and not 1/2 of them busted. The location is convenient next to Safeway near Milton. It was quite busy but there were plenty of machines. Only peeve here was the service clerk. Not the friendliest and sat away from her window hiding behind a wall so if you didn't know to look back there and say, hey I need help, well you'd just be standind round playing with lint in your pocket where your quarters should be because that big 14 coin machine likes to eat your quarters without ticking them off the counter so you best be paying attention. read more

Our dryer at home is broken. So we come here to dry our clothes. If it's been a busy day then we'll wash them here too. Lots of washers and plenty of dryers. Various sizes. They got in some new may tag dryers that I love! Very clean. Has one bathroom. Not very crowded. Rarely ever see kids here. They also have free coffee for customers. Last load is at 9:30pm. They close at 11pm. I love coming here because the staff is awesome and friendly. Plenty of parking. And they have a TV here. Currently watching Empire right now. read more

I just finished washing here. I put my clothes in a washer. Out my timer on then returned when my clothes were done washing. They have been stopped for no more than 2 minutes and the laundry attendant yanked my clothes out of the washer. Gave me an attitude and said I left them unattended. I was shocked as I go there often. I always set a timer and go in right when my things are done and never have a problem. I even set the timer for 33 minutes, the washer said 36. So imagine my surprise when I encounter an attitude from the attendant. I've been using them for years. Never again. And the owner called as a courtesy. He was never going to do anything about it. read more

Location is convenient, attempts to keep the laundromat clean is above average, and the prices are not bad . However, many washer machines are out of order. You have to jam the quarters in for some washers to work. Some washers take your money and there's no guarantee you will receive your money back. The laundry attendant will respond to you "I'm going to let my supervisor know" but this does not solve or answer your question of you receiving your money lost. Usually packed on weekends, but the crowd is lighter in the week. Customer service needs to be improved. So far the dryers have been good to me so that's why I'm adding another star to this deserved one star rating. read more

The Loggermat in Flagstaff is every cliche you would expect. And yet, I really like and support the place, and not all cliches are negative. It certainly is not easy to own or operate a machine-based business, and I respect the efforts the owners and/or staff make to provide a much needed service to all of us. Generally, the machines are maintained in clean working order, and the pricing is fair for the market, with the dryers being the better value over the washers. In the washers, my clothes always come out more damp than at home, which is something the owners could address. But the dryers kick ass and usually make up for it. It is a very busy spot, and sometimes there is a wait for the specific type of machine I may want. Even then, I usually do wait, reading or visiting with other patrons. I am usually the only Bilagaana in the place, as it mainly attracts a Native American clientele. But I am always greeted when I come in the door, and friendly assistance is always available when I need it. Best of all, Sam, is one of the most pleasant and reliably helpful individuals I have ever seen in a laundry mat or other similar business. She is genuinely welcoming and totally able, and is always working to keep the place clean and ready for all of us. She is excellent when assisting us with machine problems or any other need. Her truly friendly demeanor easily spans the otherwise cultural divide that is typically present under similar circumstances in other businesses in Flagstaff. Be aware that you will not get your money back if anything goes wrong. I lost 6.50 in one of the large load machines and the woman working said "yeah, you all just push buttons and don't read so you lost your money." I'm totally admit I didn't read the sign that said it didn't do a particular type of wash and I pushed it anyway but the rude attitude was not warranted. The change machine also stole 2 dollars from me but I figure it's a lost cause to ask for that back. Machines don't do a great job at washing either. I will avoid this place from now on. read more
