I'm sure you've all seen this lovely family business' videos floating around in your social media timelines, and as if their delicious looking candies weren't enough to entice you they also offer a candy demo certain days during allotted times. I was lucky enough to be the only person at their 11am candy cane demo Saturday morning (oh college football season), and their co-owner Jerry was there right by the window prepping that beer colored blob that he was about to split into colors and add flavoring and citric acid into the blob that would be aerated into a white blob. It's inspiring to watch a skilled candy smith (I made that word up) forge molten sugar into intricate stripe patterned candy. Soon enough tourists who were walking thru wound up sticking around to watch as well, and it became a wholesome candy party! It was more enchanting to watch in real life than on my phone haha, and everyone who worked at the store were very congenial and telegenic. Jerry was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my silly questions. Aside from the fun experience of seeing your candy being prepared, the candy itself was unbelievable. That day Jerry was making sour blueberry candy canes and pillows. I was able to try a nice warm sample pillow after his daughter Abby used that contraption to shape the ropes into pillows. I even got a warm rope to make a heart shaped candy (if you pay $6.50 online on their website). After trying a little piece, I was converted. I'll never buy a not homemade hard candy again. The difference is night and day how fresh the candy was and also when you bit into it was literally light as a pillow and didn't feel like you were gonna break your teeth. It made me wonder why was I eating those stale candy canes from CVS. While waiting for my heart to cool, I shopped around and grabbed some peanut brittle, mango tajin pillows, and a box filled with homemade chocolates. I nibbled on each item when I got home and was floored by the painstaking craftsmanship it took to make these morsels. I couldn't pick a favorite. I was also impressed that the hard candy selections I made when cold was also light to bite into. I think that speaks to the simple traditional style of candy people can stand to embrace and enjoy. It's not too bad of a drive so I'm definitely coming back for Christmas candy canes. Please make a trip to a rare spot that has stood the test of time. read more

I've had my eye on this place. Saw YouTube video. Finally my husband had business in the area and was kind enough to stop and get some candy for me! I got cotton candy pillows. They are okay. Assorted ribbon candy. I tasted a bit and it was watermelon and very flavorful. Eager to try the rest Very nice. I almost didn't get chocolate but then I saw they had honeycomb which I love. So I got light and dark. I don't care for the dark but the milk is wonderful. As good as violet crumble. Maybe a lil better. Worth the wait and now I want to make a special trip at Christmas. For candy canes. We are about 4 hours drive. Yay and wonderful! Thank you husband! read more

We were eating lunch at Vinces spaghetti and noticed this place is less than a mile away. Park in the two hour lot behind the store. It's not a very big store, 2 1/2 small rooms with a variety of different candies some made in house, some are commercially shipped in. We stopped on February 13 the day before Valentine's Day, and they were quite busy, no surprise. We were in the store for about half an hour, and picked up some of their famous homemade candy cane pillow candies read more

My dad used to bring me here when I was a kid, so I decided to check it out again. We went for a candy cane demonstration on a rainy Christmas Eve. It was perfect. Lots of available space to watch the process. I love that they give you warm candy cane pieces to try. For $6.50 you can buy tickets to bend your own. Service is very friendly in this family owned business. They even offered to take our picture. Loved the photo booth in here too, got some good pictures with my nieces and nephew. So much candy and little trinkets. read more

I've wanted to visit Logan's Candies and bring my daughters since they were toddlers. However, we'd always get too busy during the holidays, I'd forget, or their candy demonstrations would sell out. This year, that changed and we finally went last night! I'm so happy we did--it was a great and memorable experience! The candy store has a classic look and feel to it. There's a gift shop attached to it as well. The candy demonstration is the main draw for the store, with a window for viewing outside, as well as a large window partition inside along their assembly station. They also have cameras and a small monitor to display the demonstration. We got to watch them make a batch of their root beer candy canes. Very interesting process! They do a great job of explaining everything, working in some humor and some history as well. Love they work in the witness of the candy cane story and the true meaning of Christmas. They have copies of the story available to take with you. They also made some of their candy cane pillows, which allowed all of us to receive a fresh, warm sample. Delicious! Finally, we each got to get our own candy cane to bend. They handed them to us in small bags. They were still quite warm and that made it a little difficult to work with, so I just went with the traditional J or shepherd's staff. My youngest made a C for her name and my oldest attempted to make a heart lol. This place is definitely not to be missed! I'm so thankful we finally got to experience this! read more

We booked tickets in advance for a candy making demo, and it was such a great experience. It is such a fun shop with so many yummy goodies to try! I didn't expect all of the different flavors and shapes of "candy canes" they had to offer. They even have fun hearts and four leaf clover shapes. We arrived early, to check it out and get checked in, and I was surprised to find it already full of ticketed guests. We checked in at the register in the back, and were given our tickets to hole into for our own candy cane bending at the end. Once it started, everyone gathered around the windows. The other guests were all very kind in letting all of the kiddos get up closer for better viewing too. We watched for about 20 min or so, while the owner made a batch of blue raspberry candy for canes and candy pillows. He told us the story of the store and when/how they started while joking along the way. Once the candy was moving onto the finishing/shaping stages, we were given some fresh samples of the still warm candy to try - so YUM!! Then, as they continued finishing the candy, we all lined up to bend our own fresh and warm candy cane. After we were done, we roamed the shop a bit and found some more of their fresh made goodies to bring home with us. We'd definitely come back again! I saw they have a ribbon candy making demo as well, and I'm sure that'd be just as fun. read more

For the longest time since I've watched their youtube/ tiktok shorts, I thought they were based somewhere in Ontario, Canada but they're a few miles away from Euclid ave near the 10 fwy. I thought it would be tiny inside but they do have a good amount of space for the various candies they sell. I usually come here to stock up on their salt water taffy with my favorite flavors of butter popcorn, cinnamon roll, frosted cupcake, and blue cotton candy; and they do smell and taste like what the flavors imply. I also like their chocolate chip dark chocolate which is plain ruffles potato chip mixed with dark or milk chocolate. They have a good variety of housemade chocolates along with sugar-free candy selections. Their various flavors of candy canes are great too, I have seen a demonstration of the man doing a batch for a crowd while I was getting candy. They do give out warm samples of pillow candies after demonstrations, they were making their seasonal pumpkin spiced pillow candy. They make some harder to find candies such as honeycomb or ribbon candies too. The staff is nice, parking is street only. read more

Updating my review because my darling girls treated me to the candy making demonstration and it was SO COOL! Jerry absolutely loves what he does and is skilled at his craft. To watch him create candy canes from scratch is amazing. You can tell he has been doing this for years as his precision & timing is impeccable. He explains each step along the way in a lively & animated fashion. Participants are given a piece of the warm, freshly made cany cane pillows. They are even better warm. The candy canes & pillows come in a variety of flavors. We tried Honeydew and it was delicious! If you purchase a ticket you will also have the opportunity to shape your own candy cane, and you get to keep it too! Of course we bought some tasty treats. I have to say, the rocky road is phenomenal! read more

Logan's Candies is such a special little gem and one of those places that instantly puts you in a good mood. The entire team is always incredibly welcoming and happy to explain what they're working on, which makes the visit feel personal instead of rushed. Watching fresh, hot candy canes being made right in front of you is honestly mesmerizing and feels like a bit of old fashioned magic. The shop smells amazing, the candy is delicious, and the whole experience feels charming in a way that's hard to find anymore. Went here today for their candy demo and was not disappointed! I went with my husband and 2 kids and it was a blast! I highly recommend it! You have to get tickets in advance, and it's $6/person which is a great price. Went about 15 mins early, which was plenty of time ahead, secured our spot and watched the demo. Jerry was great at explaining everything and he had a mic on so everyone could hear. We were able to watch the pillow cutting too and got to enjoy some warm samples which was heavenly! Once it was finished we were able to mold/shape our own candy canes which was so cool! They gave us a bag too to take it home in so that was nice. We stood in line once the demo was concluded and got our goodies. I went with all the cashiers recommendations and was not disappointed. Got some pink lemonade sour rings, candy blocks, milk chocolate gummy bears and the oh so delicious peanut butter milk chocolate squares. Those were sooooo good! Taste better than a Reese's cup! Everything was so good and everyone was so nice! Will definitely be back! read more

Day trip explorations brought me and my family out to Logan's Candies. We had seen a few of their videos on YouTube and I wanted to see if it's as charming in person. It is! They weren't making candies while we were there but it's still a cute experience. Artisanal candies made in store: ribbon candies, chocolates, and ice cream. I love this place. Though I'm not often in the area, I stop-by every time I am. During the holidays, I'll make a special trip, if needed. Old fashioned candy shops are rare. This one's not a replica, it's true vintage. Great choice of sweets, from chocolates to candy canes to ice cream, and everything in-between. The friendliest people on Earth work there. Even the decor; candy shop through and through. I recently picked-up some in-house made chocolates and fudge, and couldn't leave without a candy cane because... tis the season! read more

It's not a big place but they have candy, chocolates, apparel, and knickknacks. They have racks with affordable candies in a small bag for $3.00 each. The pillows and card candies were about $8 for a small bag. They have peanut brittle, too. Their peppermint candy cane is beautiful and smooth and vibrant. I really expected to see candy canes everywhere but they were hidden in a bucket. You can be done walking around inside the store in less than 10 minutes. Parking: parked in back. Free. Not a lot of parking available Prices: Found the in-house hard candies a little pricey but the house made candies are fresh and the color is lovely read more

Logan's Candies - Candy cane heart - Candy Stores Near Me - Ontario, California

My wife was excited to visit Logan's Candies since she follows them on social media. I tagged along because, well, marriage. Parking: Easy win here. There's a public lot right behind the store, so no drama finding a spot. Inside the store: Once inside, I wasn't quite sure what to make of the setup. The place has an okay mix of new and old-school candies, but the layout feels kind of like a sugar tornado hit a gift shop. Customer service: A younger employee greeted me when I walked in, friendly and polite. Later, I had a few questions about the jars of loose candy in the third room, which seems to be a collection of random odds and ends. She was busy, so I asked an older blonde woman instead. Unfortunately, she seemed less than thrilled to help, smiling through what looked like physical pain. I was just trying to figure out the rhyme or reason behind the layout, but I got the vibe I was asking for state secrets. Overall: I never even tried the chocolate, which is ironic considering from their replies to other reviews on yelp they suggest See's is their competitor. I guess Logan's Candies is doing well enough to let curious customers walk right out the door. Probably the most neutral review I've ever written. read more

It is a cute little local family run candy shop. Get a very homey and nostalgic vibe as soon as you step in. Purchased tickets in advance for the candy demonstration, but you can also purchase in person. The price of the ticket is equivalent to one candy cane, which they give you at the end of the demonstration, so it's worth it if you were planning on getting a candy cane anyways. The demonstration is fun and informative. Staff are friendly and willing to assist. Plenty of parking all around. read more

So many wonderful recommendations and truly friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and engaging. We can't wait to go back and try more. If you're in the area, stop by. We went here for a candy cane demonstration for the first time. It was such a cute experience seeing someone firsthand make the candy canes and explain the whole process. And the price to see this demonstration was so inexpensive for what you get. The store is older but has a lot of charm. The candy can be a little more pricey but I didn't mind because I knew it would be supporting a local candy shop. We ordered a watermelon and pink lemonade. I loved the watermelon. I wish the pink lemonade had a little more tart or citrus flavor. Im excited to try more flavors and seeing the candy cane demonstration will now be part of a yearly tradition for us. read more

Always a sweet place to come to. We've been here a long time ago. This time we invited my brother and his son to visit. Their first time. Staff is very friendly and happy to explain and answer any questions. We were hoping to watch them demonstrate candy cane making but we didn't realize it's going to be way later in the afternoon. My only wishful suggestion is that they can announce clearly on YELP. Like for today, I think it's 2pm and 4pm. Free to watch. For $5 we can be involved with hands on experience to make candy. How cool is that. But it would be nicer to know this info before hand. read more

We discovered Logan's Candies through social media and booked a candy-making demonstration right before Christmas. I was really excited to attend a candy demonstration at Logan's Candies and even took the day off work so I could bring my mom and my husband. Tickets sell out fast, so I assumed this would be a well organized, ticketed event. Unfortunately, it was anything but. We arrived early, and the shop was already completely packed. People were spilling outside the store, and there was no room to push my mother's wheelchair inside. This alone was extremely disappointing, especially for a paid event. There was: No clear line. No host or staff member managing the event. No one checking or collecting tickets. No signage or instructions. No way to tell who was there for the demonstration versus who was just shopping. It was just a crowd of people standing around waiting, with no direction or structure. We couldn't even find someone to talk to about our tickets. What was the point of buying tickets at all? If capacity isn't controlled and accessibility isn't considered, then selling tickets feels misleading. Furthermore, for a ticketed event, there should have been capacity limits and accommodations to ensure all guests, including those using wheelchairs, could safely attend. This could have been a great experience, but the lack of organization and complete disregard for crowd control and accessibility really ruined it. We walked away, didn't see the demo. Wasting 18 bucks isn't the end of the world but we're still disappointed. I hope the business takes this feedback seriously and improves how these events are handled in the future. We wont be back. read more
