    Dark Chocolate Frozen Bananas!
    Ann A.

The customer service is over and beyond 5 stars. Their selection of chocolates, candy and display of gift options was also 5 stars. Sadly, the chocolate that I purchased averaged to 3 stars. The dark chocolate almond clusters were delicious. The dark chocolate peanut butter and jelly cups had me wishing I had purchased more. The dark chocolate molasses chips and the toffee brittle was good. I liked the amount and taste of the dark chocolate that surrounded the molasses chips. The dark chocolate honeycomb was very hard. It had the consistency of a jaw breaker. I ate around the honeycomb. The dark chocolate was delicious! It is too bad that I ended up throwing the honeycomb away. I'm too old to eat anything like a jaw breaker. The dark chocolate nougatine was not something I would purchase again. I ended up throwing them away after my first bite. They had a wonderful selection of different types of candies. I liked that it was not self-serve. During this horrible pandemic, it is nice knowing that the only hands that have been in the candy jars are the hands of the sales associates. They also had numerous shelves of gift options like stuffed animals, bags and boxes of pre-packaged candies. I'll be going back here for their dark chocolate peanut butter and jelly cups. I would also like to try their dark chocolate frozen bananas, because their dark chocolate is delicious!

    Delish!

Very delish chocolates small place & display but ull find the right flavor. Perfect location & personal service. Will be back!

Loose candies and fudge that I picked up from the shop. (Paper cups not sold, I just had them lying around for the advent calenders)
    Jess K.

Super cute local chocolate shop! I was able to pick up everything I needed for my family's advent calenders in one stop. I even got lucky and was able to pick up licorice-all-sorts (my husband's favorite). The prices are fair for a local candy shop and I always recommend supporting a Mom & Pop. BONUS: I was able to use my cloth bags for the loose candy instead of the plastic sleeves! Because of COVID the cashier measures and handles the candies with gloves, masks are mandatory, and there is distancing markers on the floor. Thank you so much for keeping our community safe with these measures!

I love this little place! Our go tos are the peanut clusters and the s'mores bark. Both are absolutely delicious!

They have a wide variety of candies, including British and some chamoy/tajin offerings. I found some interesting versions of already beloved candy. What caused me to rate them a three is the massive bulk candy wall which was $16.95/lb. I chose a few options to sample with the intention of returning if the options were fresh. I got four types - green paint ball, buttered popcorn jelly belly, cherry strips, and blue raspberry strips. THEY ARE ALL STALE, some so stale they're inedible. This tells me that the store doesn't refresh the bins or clean them much. For that reason alone, I'd find my candy elsewhere.

Based on the photos on the app and social media, I was expecting a big, thick, puffy bakery-style cookie. Instead, the cookie I received was pretty flat, thin, and only about 3 1/2 inches across. That said, once I took a bite, I was genuinely impressed. The cookie was gooey, rich, and packed with great chocolate flavor. It definitely tasted much better than it looked. One thing that was frustrating was the promotion they were advertising. There was a huge flashing sign saying you could get a free cookie if you joined the membership club, but the QR code was so tiny that my phone couldn't scan it. The code only flashed on the screen for a couple of seconds every several minutes, and it honestly didn't seem to work very well. In the end, I paid the $3.95 for my cookie and went on my way. While the presentation and promotion were disappointing, I do have to admit -- the cookie itself tasted really good. Sir was really cute. It was very small in the plaza in Claremont.

Not terribly inventive Mexican given what's out there in DTLA or even OC but kudos for attempts at menu expansion! I do think the guacamole is really good, the mezcal offerings are awesome, the decor is upscale and Happy Hour pricing is worthwhile. I find this restaurant very loud however. Because of that, I booked outside seating on OpenTable for Cinco de Mayo for drinks at 6:30 for 4 of us. We arrived at 6:25. We were notified that they were running behind, but still were not seated at 7... we were told there was no outdoor seatings coming up in the near future but they could honor our reservation shortly at an indoor table... but unfortunately it was club-decibel live music for the holiday so we went elsewhere. I do feel that managing holiday crowds and reservations is a reasonable expectation for a restaurant of this caliber/ price point. Recommend as a local option only but with a few caveats, not my top choice.

The website is easy to navigate and complete your transaction. It'd been a while since I've ordered with them, and it looks like they've expanded their menu a bit! Last night was back to school night and I thought we deserved a little treat. Upon my suggestion to my youngest daughter, she mentioned a more popular cookie chain option, and I countered with Cookie Crave. She pulled up their menu and was immediately sold! I place our order for a 4-pack of cookies and selected the desired delivery time. They only deliver later in the evening, as when they open, they start baking them fresh! As a result, their quantities are limited and they do tend to sell out. This weekend they're celebrating National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, so I even received what looked like a 15% discount on my order. Even with the $6 delivery fee, the price came in less than that of more popular chain options. The cookies were delivered in the middle of my desired delivery window and were still so warm and gooey. Absolutely delicious! We ordered: chocolate chip, s'mores, brookie and snickerdoodle. All of them were fantastic! The review in our home was these are better than other cookie chains! Support local small businesses! I highly recommend Cookie Crave!
