I usually take the Logan Express when I'm flying too early for the T to be running. This is for the Braintree line only This location is in an old drive in movie theater location just off of Rte 128 near the South Shore Plaza shopping center. Tons of parking since it used to be a drive in. It's a bit tricky to get to in the dark as it's off a side road that winds around a bit before getting to the entrance. There is a shelter which has ticket machines and staffing. Nice place to wait if it's cold, especially at 3AM. Staff has always been efficient and friendly. Appreciate this, especially again at 3AM. The bus ride in takes approximately half an hour in the middle of the night, probably a bit longer with traffic during the day. The bus stops at each Terminal starting with A. This is a great service especially if you have a super early/late flight that isn't amenable to taking the T. PS there is a discount if you book ahead on their website. read more

We've been using the Logan Express out of Braintree for nearly 10 years and have yet to be disappointed. Daily parking is very reasonable at $7 per day, and a round trip ticket is $18 for adults if you purchase it online. When we traveled with our kids, it was an even better deal as kids ride free with a paying adult. So pretty much what you do is pull a ticket as you enter the large parking area, find a spot to leave your car (It can be busy during school vacation weeks, but we've always found. spot), and then either go into the terminal to purchase a ticket with a card as cash is no longer accepted or purchase ahead and show your ticket on your phone. The bus stops at every airport terminal and the driver helps with loading/unloading the larger pieces of luggage that are stored underneath the bus. When you return, you bring your parking ticket to the cashier inside the terminal, pay for however many days your car was parked and then exit the parking area by scanning your paid parking ticket. The terminal is heated and air conditioned and has plenty of seats for waiting for the shuttle. Bathrooms are clean, temperature controlled, and comfortable, and I believe there is even a bathroom on the bus, though we've never used it. The shuttle departs every half hour and it generally takes between 30-40 minutes to get to Logan. Currently, they don't run 24 hours a day, but it's pretty close to being round the clock. Definitely recommended as a more economical option to parking areas at Logan. read more

Usually, when getting to Logan, I use the MBTA. I give myself plenty of time, don't have to worry about parking, and it's only $2.40 to get there and back. I always try to allow extra time with this option because of how "wonderful" the T can be. However, this assumes that the flight there and back will be at a reasonable hour. Recently, I had two round trip flights, both departing around 6am and returning just after midnight. The first time, I decided to Uber. While the trip to Logan wasn't terrible, the return trip cost a small fortune! As such, for trip #2 I decided to take a friend's recommendation and use the Logan Express. Cost is $7/day to park, and $9 each way for the bus ticket. It was perfect for a three-day trip, definitely cheaper than Ubering or parking at Logan itself. For longer trips the parking can add up, so I'll leave the math up to you depending on where you're coming from. Going there I was able to find a decent parking spot, and the bus left on time. Coming back the wait wasn't too bad (got lucky more than anything). The bus going there was clean, though the one coming back could have used some elbow grease (esp since some unknown thing on the back of the seats had a piece of gum stuck inside it). While all of this great, and I would not hesitate to use the service again for such a scenario, this comes with some Caveats, disclaimers, and "yeah-buts" to keep in mind: 1. The parking lot is very large. The walk from your vehicle to the bus stop and back may take a few minutes. 2. The lot gets quite full. While I don't know if there're any times it is 100% booked, it would be nice to have something on the website to indicate if there are spot open. 3. Busses may be full - Because of how early I left and how late I arrived, this was a non-issue, but may be a consideration for peak hours. Having this information available as a historical trend would be useful for planning purposes. 4. When waiting for the bus at Logan, while you are covered from precipitation. However, finding cover from the heat and cold will be more challenging. Also, if Murphy's law works, after your arrival the bus would have *just* left, and you may have to wait ~30 minutes, depending on traffic. Not really something I want to do after getting off a plane. 5. Especially with the Sumner Tunnel closed for a month this year, traffic getting to the airport can and should be a consideration to not miss your flight. 6. The last trip from Logan leaves at 1:15am. While this should be more than enough time for someone arriving, if there's a delay in the flight, or baggage, or both - that cuts it very close. Once the 1:15a bus leaves, all that's left is a potentially hilariously overpriced Uber. 7. The credit card reader on the exit gate was a little loose. As someone who routinely checks such readers for skimmers, this freaks me out a little bit. read more

I have been using Logan Express for many years, primarily from Framingham to Logan and round trip from Plymouth. Currently, they are doing construction on their Framingham terminal and it is closed! When I booked my ticket on their website there was no mention of this. Fortunately we headed there with plenty of time to spare. There was no sign on the terminal or on the turn off road, Flutie Pass, just before reaching the terminal to indicate where they had moved.! We decided to drive around to the other side of the Mall and found a parking garage beyond Nordstrom's where they were operating Logan Express. Other customers I spoke with said they were unaware of the move. When I suggested to the rude parking attendant that they should have signs at Flutie Pass and on the terminal building about the new location, he said "above my pay grade". We love using this option for travel in Boston, getting to the airport is a breeze and drivers have always been friendly and safe. Coming home this last time we had to wait about an hour for shuttle because they were only running every hour. Nice cheap option and relatively stress free. read more

Very solid service. The location is easy enough to get to and the buses always leave on time. Even during the busiest hours of the day, the ride to Logan is no more than half an hour as the buses are able to take advantage of the express lane. Tickets can be conveniently pre-purchased on the Logan Express website from your phone and you will get a QR code that the driver scans once everyone is seated. You always get dropped off at the Arrival Gates so travelers returning to Braintree will board right after passengers get off (those tickets are checked at the end of the trip in Braintree). Used this service every flight and sure beats having to drive yourself or ride the Red/Silver Lines. read more

Framingham logan express claims to have a 30 min schedule on the weekends. On Oct 20th, 2024 when I and many others waited at terminal E for Framingham Logan express from 11 am to 12:20 pm, we saw three 'drop offs' pass by but no pick up for over 1h and 20 mins. One bus did come but had very limited availability and could accommodate only about 5 passengers of the 20 or so from terminal E. There was no effort to communicate arrival of next bus, not a single apology for missing two bus schedules, and rudeness of drivers toward passengers. I reported this to the person in the framingham logan express bus station, and his response was rude, showing no empathy to tired domestic and international passengers. There is a lot more training needed to upgrade your services. I will hesitate to commute by Framingham logan express, especially on the weekends, despite this being 1/10th of the Uber cost. Thank you for a less then ordinary service.​​ Please train your employees to deliver good customer service. It is sub par! read more

Braintree Express lost my luggage going to the airport we were a party of 5. Half luggage made it . We were missing three bags from 3 of us medicine inside. Driver told me someone must have stolen it. Nice to be a paying customer for this service. We drove terminal to terminal looking for the bags with yelling passengers inside that want to be dropped off. I wanted to make our flight that I saved for and looked forward to. The luggage was on another bus from Braintree. It got mixed up there when employees were yelling at a woman who couldn't find her ticket on the phone. She also was a thief because the driver said she was lying about having a ticket. She did and .made it on the next bus . So as we were driving around looking for lost luggage it was found by the second driver out of Braintree in his bus ( maybe he wanted to steal it). So we left. Next Friday one week later--- here comes the driver to bring us back to Braintree. Same driver lost my same luggage again. Same story- the passengers are thieves. After an hour it was also on another bus. They then said it was my fault ( maybe I should have crawled in the luggage department to hold on to it ) They said I should watch it better. Lied and said I left it against a wall. There was a wheelchair in between the wall and my luggage. All of our other bags made it and it was in between some of them . The driver was telling people to get on the bus, but I should have stayed and watched him do his job. After the hour wait for our luggage I asked for our money back for the tickets as I did not get service that I paid for. The clerk inside won't talk he pushes out a tiny piece of paper with an email on it. I emailed and asked for our bus trip money back and parking because of the inconvenience. They will not even return the email . All of the customers are treated like crap will never do this again. I feel like an apology at any time would have been nice. read more

Easier and cheaper than paring at the airport. Although the app is a little wonky and not intuitive it gives you the best value. As a cautionary tale however when catching a midnight bus from Logan to Braintree the drive got list and ended up on 93 North and only turned around when several passengers alerted him and got gps directions to get back on the south route. LOGAN EXPRESS BRAINTREE, Beware of this service, aweful experience, took 2.5+ hours from airport to our car, not enough buses, the first bus finally showed up after waiting 50 minutes ( supposed to be every 30 min), but, it was full when it arrived, left about 25 people and their luggages behind and told us another bus is coming in 5 minutes ( but took another 20+min), we all FINALLY got into the bus, but, the bus then stopped at every terminal at logan, went in a complete circle and ended back where were started! ( another 30+ minutes), at this point things were getting late in the day, so we ran into rush hour traffic which we planned yo avoid ( another hour in traffic!), but we were at theor mercy, im not sure how the word EXPRESS is included in the company name. I would highly recommend looking at other options. ( even if its pricier). read more

Extremely hot bus - driver did not know how to turn on AC and windows were locked shut. At least 90-95 degrees on the bus. The ride takes too long to get from Back Bay to Logan - the bus travels all the way to Allston on every trip to use a ramp that is always backed up when a shorter route exists on Dartmouth Street to a dedicated tunnel to the airport. Instead, we sat in general turnpike traffic. Awful. The Logan Express Back Bay used to accept Charlie Cards for payment, now it doesn't. Transit should be seamless. read more

It's 9:00PM on Sunday and the bus driver is chatting with the cashier, at departure time. We patiently waited for him to come out and board the bus. We finally decided to just get on and waited, while he continued to converse with his coworker inside. He then proceeded to get on the bus, gave us attitude and departed for Logan LATE. Furthermore, he left at least ten other customers behind, who had patiently been waiting right along side us, for the same amount of time, but hadn't boarded yet because they had bags to put in the bag bin. I was one of four people on the bus. The driver then lied to me and said that he left on time, when I asked why he gave us attitude prior to departure. The time stamp on my photo shows him CLEARLY in the office AT departure time. It was several minutes before he came out and we left, after that. If you want to get to Logan Airport ON TIME, consider alternative modes of transportation. Park there...but DON'T take the bus! read more

We've come late to the game with this excellent local service but we are now converts. Logan Express provides bus service from various towns around the greater Boston area and drops you off right at your specific airport terminal. The closest Logan Express for us is in Braintree and we're happy to have discovered this easy and comfortable way to get to the airport. The buses (they are like Greyhound buses) leave every half hour, cost $11.00 each way and provide plenty of storage underneath for luggage which the driver both stows and retrieves for you. There is a huge parking lot where you can leave your car for a reasonable $7.00 a day. While we've previously enjoyed getting to the airport by ferry, the boat does not take you directly to the terminal. So while the boat ride is terrific, getting to the terminal is a pain. Upon disembarking from the ferry, one has to hop on a shuttle bus that then makes the rounds to each terminal. That means lugging your suitcase and gear off the boat, up a few steps onto a small shuttle with very little room to maneuver and then lugging everything off the bus when it arrives at your stop. My lugging and lifting days when traveling are over. We all deserve better than that. Now we want as effortless as possible and Logan Express bus service provides it without having to go the airport limo route which is decidedly more money and not necessarily any more convenient. Coming home is just as easy. Once you've landed you simply walk outside and there are Logan Express bus stops right near every airline's exit. You pay for your parking when you get back to Logan Express station and hop in your very own car which has been patiently waiting for your return. I use the Logan Express every time I fly. With a house in Easton driving all the way to Logan is a nightmare at any hour. Its easy to get to Braintree and only $12 to hop the bus to the airport. Same price going the other way from Logan to Braintree. Here's the thing with the complainers allow plenty of time, be there when the bus comes and stand in the proper place. Logan is busy with buses rolling in every few minutes so you need to pay attention. Sure traffic sucks and sometimes they are late but they do come. If your at Braintree I dont see how you could botch that ride up if your there in time. In every way it beats driving and parking at Logan or having to bother somebody to drive you. I have no experience with parking in Braintree as I always get dropped off but all in all I cant see how this isn't a great convenience and service. read more

Pre purchased tickets online ahead of time, only to show up on the morning of our flight to a full lot. We had no choice but to head to the airport to park, on our way we passed one of their shuttles and I called to ask if we could wait for one of the customers on board to leave so we could park. Unfortunately, I was told that this was not possible due to them already being over their capacity. 13 days after requesting a refund I am still waiting. So don't purchase your tickets ahead of time, and hope and pray they have a open spot for you on the day of your flight so you don't get stuck paying ridiculous fees to park at the airport. I've never had a problem getting a parking spot. BUT, be prepared to park far away from the building in the back of the lot. If you take the bus just know that every bus driver will literally toss your suitcase into the storage when you hand it to them. I use this service frequently and every single time my suitcase catches air. I know they lift a lot of suitcases but there is no regard for your belongings here. Don't put anything breakable or valuable like a laptop or something in your suitcase cuz it will be smashed on the ground. Also office is a little disorganized. read more

The bus to Braintree from Logan is scheduled every 30 minutes. However the first bus arrived 10 min late and was full. The second bus picked us up first then circled Logan again. Overall I waited 70 minutes to catch a bus than should have been no more than 30 minutes. Neither Braintree or Massport picked up the phone. read more

Pre-purchased a ticket, (It is a QR code ticket) 8/4/22 the male driver has failed to just purchased ticket, after he folded / crumbled the ticket on his own, approached me who was alone in the bus and said Hey, this ticket is b a d I said, I just purchased ticket. He left the crushed / wrinkled ticket. The driver never listens, and discriminates. BTW the designated driver is male, old, white beard, who drives aggressively / abruptly pushed all of our faces onto front seat (specifically, inside tunnel getting into terminals, where one can drive smoothly without any problem because of low traffic.) This was the first time using the Logan Express from the Boston airport. If you're not stressed for time and you know which town you're going to it's best to use it or Uber. Traffic leaving the airport is crazy . Very reasonable if you don't have a car, it's handy. I do highly recommend it and the folks outside waiting are very helpful and can give you advice on what do it you're from out of town. read more

I've taken to trying to put things like this into private emails, but I can't figure out how to even contact Logan Express about this without calling the very office I had an issue with. This morning, I arrive at 4:50 a.m., thinking I've just missed the 4:45 but I can catch the 5:00. After parking and buying a ticket, I hear the guy behind the counter tell a woman that the 5 a.m. has been canceled and there won't be a bus until 5:30. I approached the counter and asked him to repeat it so I could be sure. I said, "I wish you had told me that before I bought this ticket." Apparently my comment was super offensive because he started yelling at me. And I do not mean yelling as hyperbole, I mean he got angry, raised his voice, and would not let me speak as he went on his tirade. He said he told the whole room and I just wasn't there early enough to hear the announcement. He said if I was too dumb to look on the website for the time that that wasn't his problem (I had the website open on my phone right at that moment... it did not mention the 5 being canceled.) He also told me, in not so polite terms, that I was "giving him sass." I can tell you right now that I'm perfectly capable of sass. And this interaction did make me angry. But in this case I certainly kept my cool, because this was all in front of children, and unlike the guy behind the glass, I have the good sense to not flip out in front of children. Needless to say he did not offer me a refund nor did he offer any apology for the inconvenience. I asked for his name so I could speak with his manager at this point and he refused to tell me. But he's the only guy working there this morning. He should absolutely not be working in a public-facing job. I ended up in a Lyft with a few other passengers who hadn't padded their early morning itinerary with an extra half hour for Massport to drop the ball on their schedule (for me this was already a backup plan for me after my initial transit plan fell through.) read more

I purchased a ticket back to Braintree from one of the ticket machines in the baggage terminal. There was some difficulty with the machine, but I finally received the ticket and didn't give it more thought. Nobody checked tickets until back in Braintree. The person checking them as we got off of the bus said there was a problem with the ticket and to go inside to the window. At least two other passenger's also had problems with their ticket. I also needed to break a bill for a tip. At the window, I communicated two separate things to the cashier: 1. Please break the 20; 2. the ticket guy said there is some problem with my ticket and said to give it to (you). The cashier said I didn't have a ticket and he didn't know what the ticket I gave him was. I said I bought it from one of the kiosks at the airport. The little a-hole took my money (and the non-ticket?) handed me a new ticket, and gave me the change from purchasing a second ticket - because he didn't know what to do with the piece of paper I paid for from the kiosk. He accused me of lying. Would not return my money. Gave NO explanation, and a very obvious attitude that he didn't need to give me an explanation. Then I watched him do the exact same thing to one of the other passengers who evidently also had a mysterious non-ticket. The third passenger was much smarter than both of us and never bothered going inside to the cashier. And in a few weeks I'll be there again for a ride to the airport. A whole lot of planes leave and arrive at Logan which means a whole lot of people and a whole lot of cars and a whole lot of chaos. Certainly not a place you want to drive anywhere close to. Fortunately there are companies that offer a place to safely park your car and will pick you up and dump you off right in front of the proper airline at Logan. For people living south of Boston the location in Braintree is very convenient. It saves you the aggravation of driving through the city and the parking lot is only a few minutes off of I-93. Easy in and easy out, very important when exhausted after a long flight. The huge buses come and go every half hour and seem quite punctual but of course the crazy traffic in the area can always cause complications at times. The pick up spot at Logan is easy to find and get to. Logan Express doesn't warm up you car or clean off your windshield like some other companies at least claim to do, but they do have a huge parking lot, nice buses and courteous drivers. And they will get you to and from Logan and save you the aggregation of driving yourself. read more

That Logan Airport in Boston is a crazy place. Add to that the chronic freeway work that is continuously on-going along the turnpikes and the notoriously bad Boston traffic and you have the perfect business plan and recipe for the absolute need for Logan Express. My relatives tried to get me to hop on it so they wouldn't have to make the big sacrifice and pick me up at Logan but I was loathe to take the shuttle because I didn't know if Braintree was the ghetto or not? But Braintree is a nice, safe suburb right off the freeway, past a castle masquerading as a hotel, and that's where the big parking lot is for Logan Express and where all the buses come through. Basically, you park and ride from that location. Yes- $12.00 is a little steep for a quickie ride but you cannot put a price on convenience and MAKING YOUR FLIGHT ON TIME! The whole bus was filled with TSA employees, pilots, and flight attendants when I rode it yesterday. I needed to deduct 1 Star due to surly and cranky bus drivers who railed against Las Vegas and California when I was on board. Get a personality, dudes! The Logan Express provides non-stop service and secured 24-hour parking and is located off Route 37 on Forbes Road-right across from the South Shore Plaza shopping center. You do pay to park but I am pretty sure if you work at the airport or for the airlines-it is comped or maybe discounted. Parking costs $11.00 and round trip fares are $22.00 Kids under 12 ride free. Weekdays the shuttles run every half hour on the hour. They are very prompt and on-time. The runs end at midnight and 11 pm on Saturdays so if you are coming in late, you might be out of luck. Logan Express is relatively cheap on the single and round trip fare and it's super easy to get to. Or at least it was when I lived in Brockton and my mother needed an excuse to go to The Plaza to shop while dropping me off or picking me up to/from a trip. I've been on the Logan Express several times, including a trip to Logan for an international flight in 2009 (yay for 6am ride in to town!) and recently a 7:00pm ride out of town (August 2018). Each time I've got to fly Logan, I plan on taking the Express. I always recommend it to people because it's so much less stress than trying to fight 93 or 95 for traffic and worrying about getting stuck and missing a flight. I've not had any problems with the ride; it is always smooth coming and going. The last trip I made, the driver actually saw me running the length of the terminal to catch him because I got stuck at baggage for 25 minutes. I had literally 2 minutes to run from my JetBlue baggage claim all the way to the shuttle stop.. which felt like a football field at the time, and I am wicked glad the guy stopped, got off the bus, and said "don't run! I'll stay!". I got up to him at the door and confirmed he was going to Braintree (and no where else), and he said yes. I said "my mom is right behind me". Yea, she looked like she was a mile away. He said no problem, he'd wait. Sure enough, 30 seconds later, my mom was there. Thank you for that - otherwise we would have had to wait close to an hour for the next bus (and made the person picking us up in Braintree wait an extra hour).
