We were looking for a way to transport 50+ guests to/from our venue (ceremony/cocktail/reception…read moreall in one site) - from two hotels in Westford, MA, roughly 15 minutes away....to keep our guests from having to worry about getting there, and to prevent drinking and driving. We looked into limos, coaches, etc...but as our wedding was at a barn (Barn at Gibbet Hill in Groton, MA) - school buses seemed fun & fitting. I e-mailed for a quote (last year), and within a day heard from Jessy. Over the weeks and months, our needs/ideas changed a little bit...and I'd discuss changes with Jessy, and same day - have a new quote. The price was MORE than fair, we were able to add gratuity right to our AmEx (one less thing to worry about), and the service was quick, efficient, 100% on-time...and certainly affordable. FYI: We got 2 buses to go from hotels to venue....then 1 bus left, and the other bus remained and did 2 round-trips back to the venue near the end / after the wedding. Weddings are a lot of work...if you need group transportation... definitely consider Local Motion - it will be one less thing to worry about, because they will take care of things without a problem, without any catches, and without any small print. Thank you Local Motion, and Jessy, for making this part of our wedding so easy to coordinate...and for a fun bus ride as a married couple :)

In a panic I tried to call but could not get through to anyone. . I never got a call to inform me they were on the way . No communication whatsoever, so I assumed they just weren't coming. Many of my guests quickly found alternate transportation . When they finally came the second bus left empty sInce the riders had already left. After the fact , when I dealt with the company they said the problem was they had used subcontractors which they had assured me that they did not use them when I signed the contract . Then they had the gall to try to charge me for the second empty bus. This is a horrible company. Go anywhere else.

I felt compelled to write another review of this company after seeing an obviously bogus review…read moremost likely written by the owner of this company telling me that I don't know the difference between a "car service" and a "taxi service". First of all, Travelers is listed under "taxi service/airport shuttle". I have used it as both and was left waiting at Logan Airport for so long after making an advance reservation that I took a taxi home. Call it what you want, it's a car with a driver and certainly not a professional car service like Carey Transportation which has a Mercedes and uniformed driver. I was also left stranded at Greenbush Station in Scituate after making a reservation hours in advance. The guy who answered the phone was on his own cell phone and the only driver working. He told me there was nothing he could do. He was the only driver on and couldn't pick me up for 4 hours! The person working in the morning hadn't told him anything. So you can call it a car service or anything you want, I call it amateur. I have used sedan and limo services all over the country and in the UK and never been treated worse than by this company. This business is rubbish, look elsewhere. I think Yelp should investigate the bogus review by the owner or someone connected to him in response to my previous review. It seems he chooses to respond on here rather than picking people up as he agreed to or finding someone who can.

My family and I visited Boston recently to visit my dad and his sister. They actually live in a…read moretown called Hull, which south of Boston on the Bay. By boat, it's about 20 minutes to Boston but by car it's almost an hour. The boats stop running around 7 p.m. so we decided to take a limo to our very first game at Fenway. I love this idea because then we don't have to deal with directions, traffic or parking. Seaport Livery came through when we needed a car to take us to the game! Our driver was five minutes early for our scheduled pickup and he was totally prepared to make our trip really comfortable. There were small snacks and water waiting for us in the car when we arrived in case we were hungry. He knew his way around Hull and was able to get us into the city in under an hour, even in traffic. Awesome! Our driver was super nice and very chatty, which I enjoy. He shared a lot of information about Boston and baseball, which was really great for all of us in the car. The game was delayed in the 5th inning due to rain, so we decided to just high tail it out of there and get back home. We called to arrange a pickup and our driver knew exactly where to get us to avoid baseball traffic. We only had to walk two blocks and the pickup was super fast and easy. Our ride back was much like our ride to the game and that was A-OK with me! More talk of baseball and the driver's life growing up in Boston. Super awesome! All in all, very wonderful service. We paid about $120 total with tip and that is totally worth it to avoid all of the hassles that come along with driving in a new place to a baseball game. The service was really great and on time, which is always a plus in my book. They offer airport drop offs/pickups, private charter for parties, events, dances, etc. and some other services to suit your needs. Give 'em a call!

Unfortunately I can't remember his name now, but he was one of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of speaking with. He took care of all the details and was very thorough while somehow at the same time giving me the feeling I was talking to a long lost friend. On our trip to the airport we were picked up promptly at 4:30 am by our driver Laurie, who was fabulous despite the early hour! She got us there quickly and we were all at ease and relaxed by the time we got there. She is a hoot! On our return trip as soon as I took my phone off airplane mode after landing I was greeted with a text from Dave, our return driver. He gave us instructions on where he was waiting for us, conveniently outside the luggage pickup area. Unfortunately, we came home to a snow storm but thankfully Dave is a fabulous driver, who made us all feel at ease even though we encountered many slippery, unplowed roads. We will definitely be using Seaport Livery in the future and I have already recommended them to multiple people! Leave the driving to these true professionals!

The limo showed up early at my house and loaded me, the bridesmaids, and all our stuff and away we went to the church. Upon entering the limo and opening the champagne, we noticed there was a crushed Busch Light can in one of the glasses and what looked like lipstick and a leftover beverage in several of the provided glasses. Gross. Yuck. So after the ceremony we were to go from Randolph, MA to Easton, MA to do our outdoor pictures. Knowing that daylight was of the essence, we asked the driver to make sure we got there quickly. That definitely didn't happen. Instead, we went the most ass-backwards upside down way through Randolph and Stoughton (down Rt. 138) which added nearly 30 minutes to what should have taken 20 minutes, tops had we gone down Rt. 24 which we requested in the first place. Needless to say, I was pissed and I still am. Since we got virtually no pictures, Hubs and I have to get re-dressed up and try to recreate our wedding pictures. Factored in with the fact the whole situation could have been avoided had we taken the most direct way, I called the company to explain the situation and let them know that we were not happy with the service, let alone the dirty limo. Am I a girl that drinks Busch Light? Absolutely not!! At any rate, the person I spoke to never really apologized and instead blamed our photographer and kept re-emphasizing that "we gave you a free upgrade." While that is true, we did take the free upgrade, any professional driver would know one of the easiest ways from Randolph to Easton is a quick zip down Rt. 24. Three lanes of highway traffic always moves faster than one lane of traffic with stoplights. The red flag should have been the cash-only aspect of this business. Had the limo been booked with a personal check or on a credit card, I would have issued a stop payment so fast, heads would still be spinning. In the end, a refund was offered and although nothing can be done now after the fact, I can't say I will call Concierge again for when I need a limo.

They drove all the way from Stoughton, MA to Andover in awful conditions. That alone speaks volumes for the company and their service. There was no extra fee for the party bus, they did it just because. The driver was awesome, the experience was awesome. Overall they are great people to work with. I would def. reccommend them to anyone looking for a affordable, professional, and reliable limo/bus.
