Our family took Great Woods Shuttle to/from the France/Norway World Cup game at Gillette from our Foxborough hotel. They are incredibly friendly, well organized and enthusiastic. They got waved through all the road barricades and never hit any traffic coming or going. Drop off was easy and they were waiting for us after the game (we left pretty quickly after the final whistle but they will wait up to 2 hours after if needed). i spent a lot of time stressing over the easiest way to get to the game before contacting them and I can't imagine an easier experience than we had. read more

I needed an early morning ride to the airport--and didn't want my family to struggle with inbound towards Boston traffic in the rain to drop me off so I began to look up local shuttle services. There were so many it was hard to try to figure out who was prompt and reasonably priced. Finally I decided to post my question on a local Facebook page. The name Great Woods Shuttle dominated the responses by a long shot. Over 60% of the answers swooned about fantastic service. They weren't wrong. I called, made my reservations, round trip and hoped I made the right choice. The morning of my flight out, the first driver was in my driveway exactly when he said he'd be even though the weather was disgusting. A snowy, rainy mix with fog. The driver, a really nice guy, drove expertly and safely and we had a nice conversation about local eateries to try since I'm new to the area. I was very impressed. The night before my return I sent a text to the company double checking my reservation and received and immediate reply that they'd be at the airport waiting for me and gave me clear and concise directions to the limousine waiting area. It was only later that I realized I'd sent a really late text as I was in CA with a 3-hour time difference. Nevertheless I got a prompt and courteous reply. The morning I landed the driver (the company owner) texted me where he was at the limo stand. He helped with my bags and expertly drove me home. Along the way home he asked me if I needed to go to the store or any quick stop, since I'd just returned after a week away. How epic is that? That's custom service. That's extra special, a nicety you won't generally see. It made the ride seem more like a family member or neighbor was the one driving you home. We will definitely use this company again and again and be sure to tell all our friends! read more

I was giving their flyer at the Red Roof Inn in Foxboro. after getting out of a concert, with my husband who has a disability, we couldn't get an Uber. So I called this company and got screamed at by the gentleman on the other end. I tried to explain that we are trying to just get a ride back to the hotel and he kept screaming at me and said how in 25 years he knows how to run business and then hung up on me. 10 out of 10 wouldn't recommend. they're expensive and rude. read more

Came in town for the Beyoncé concert and were staying at the Hampton inn in Foxborough. Called the hotel to check if they had a shuttle that ran to the airport as well as the concert. The hotel itself didn't have one but they recommended Great Woods Shuttle. I ended up pre-booking a pickup from the airport as well as our ride to and from the concert. Unfortunately our original flight in was cancelled so I called to let them know we wouldn't need the shuttle that night but because I prepaid Russ was so accommodating and flexible with us. He was able to take us back to the airport for our flight home instead. While doing so he gave us a mini tour of Boston and was the most pleasant guide we could have asked for. In the car he talked about how he works with his son and how every employee is either family or like family and gave us an example of him driving to cape cod to pick up a long time friend and employee that was having car trouble so that he could drive the night of the concert! You can really feel that he takes pride in what he does and loves the people he works with! Not only that but the pickup and drop off for the concert was smoother than I could've imagined. They had the names of everyone who came to the show with them printed out and made sure they all came back with them. They have access to vip parking for the show so you avoid the majority of crowds to head to the pick up spot. After the cancelled flight debacle great woods shuttle was a bright light of our trip! If and when I end up back in Boston Russ will be my first call! read more

Russ is a professional and incredibly pleasant as well. Called his company at the recommendation of my hotel (Courtyard Marriott, Foxboro) to pick me up at the lovely hour of 4 am, and it was like getting into a shuttle with an old friend. At 3:59, I saw the van pull up in front of the hotel and was quite impressed with his punctuality. Before I knew it, I was at Providence airport and wasn't so mad about being awake so early. The owner, Russ, happened to be our driver. What an amazing service! He called me to let us know he was about 10 minutes away. He met us at the hospital to take me and my husband back to the hotel, and all I can truly say is GOD BLESS YOU! Being from North Carolina, in a stressful situation, and not knowing anything about the layout of the roadways and such, this was a huge blessing to have this shuttle service available. Friendly Service But Be Prepared To Walk A Lot! Employees attending the phones and the drivers were very friendly. They pick up at the hotel but do not drop you off at the front of Xfinity Center. Drop off was about one-half a mile from the Xfinity Center. When we were dropped off we were told where to go and wait after the show to be picked up to return to our hotel. Pick up was at an small building in a parking lot located on South Main Street (AKA 140). After a 3 hour show we made our way to the pick up area which was one mile away and took about 50 minutes to walk there with traffic etc and having to cross the main road. It was hard to find in the dark. The area was dimly lit. Once there we waited another half-hour for shuttle to arrive. Won't be traveling this route again. read more

We are here after the Heart show and we weee told titles start at 11. Gentleman stated who told me that as he is the boss explained I spoke with a woman. Asked to at least sit in the van to get out of the rain and weren't allowed to even to do that so we are now wet. Worse service read more

As I began organizing an outing to the theater in Boston, I knew the transportation would be key to making the evening happen. We needed three vans for the number of people. Russ and his team were on time for the pick up and were waiting outside the theater when we were done. Russ even accommodated one of our guests when he realized he didn't want to shlep everything he had with him into the theater and was able to store his belongings in the van. We attended two consecutive night shows at Gillette stadium in August. The first night we took another shuttle service. Horrible, unsafe experience. We were a little bit freaked out for the second night, but luckily we were able to reserve space on Russ's Great Woods shuttle service. We were with several other people from our hotel that had used Russ and his service several times before. They praised him and his prompt, efficient, safe and well run shuttle service. I can see why! We used this service to go to a concert and the ride there was great, they showed up on time everything was perfect. However the ride home was another story all together. We were there until 12:15 well over an hour after the concert ended and then 2 cars showed up and there were not enough seats for the amount of people waiting. I am not sure how it was resolved I was lucky enough to get into the first car but they definitely need more organization!! There were a lot of unhappy people that night. read more

Great woods shuttle was an excellent choice for our family on our trip to Black Falcon cruise terminal. They picked us up in Attleboro at our scheduled time and Kim our driver was a delight all the way to Boston. Our return trip was just as good. They met us early outside the cruise terminal took our luggage and got us seated in the roomy van. Then Russ the owner got us out of the crowded cruise terminal in a quick and safe manner. He chatted with us and got us back to Attleboro in a timely, stress free manner. This was all done for a price the beat all of the competition. The owner, Russ, really helped me out in a jam. My rental car keys fell out of my purse in Providence last night at dinner. My co-workers had driven me back and forth, and I didn't realize until this morning that I had a car in Mansfield but car keys in Providence. I called Great Woods to inquire about transit back and forth, and Russ offered to pick my keys up on his way back from Providence. He brought them to me and I can't thank him enough for doing this for me. It means a lot that some will go out of their way tol do a nice thing for other people. This shuttle service is the only reason I enjoy going to concerts at Gillette Stadium. I know there is no stress involved and that I will be back to my hotel room less than a half hour after the last song. I always stay at the holiday inn and reserve the shuttle as soon as I check in. We were travelling to see a 1D concert at the Gillette stadium from out of state, and all google reviews for transportation had me convinced a shuttle is both time and cost efficient. The Foxboro hotel provided me with a list, and I got lucky with Great Woods. You can hear the warmth and welcome over the phone when they're handling phone calls! I had called and spoke with a female (don't recall her name) two days prior and she explained everything to me, and said to call back the day of the event. I called them at 8 am the day of the concert, spoke with Russ, who was the most charming, re-explained how it works, where to meet etc. For pick up, their shuttle arrived promptly on time, and the driver (didn't recall his name) helped me remember my tickets, which I had forgotten in my hotel room when someone told me bigger purses aren't allowed. Phew! Life-savers, I tell ya. He was specific in making sure we knew where to meet at pick up time, too. At the end of the concert, these guys had all guests lined up by hotel, very organized and helpful. The rain was a little bothersome and these guys were courteous and handled guests with reassurance like pros," everyone will make it back shortly, no worries, we'll take care of you". Our driver was engaging, and charming, included everyone in his discussions but not overbearing. It made me think New Englanders ARE the nicest people, as it was my first time in Boston. I told the driver the person I spoke to in the morning was Russ, he was so helpful over the phone earlier that day. I was delighted when he told me he is Russ!!! I told him it was like meeting a celebrity, that made him chuckle. We got to the hotel not long thereafter, avoiding all traffic on Rt 1. Strongly recommend these guys. In town for Revolution game at Gillette and service was great! Courteous, personable and just an enjoyable experience from pickup at hotel to the stadium and the return trip as well. RUSS GOLDSTEIN, I will give a star for not crashing or being arrested but the other lost four stars are on integrity. You lied about with whom or how your company/services are marketed and at what price. You lied about your pricing over the phone while in person saying we spoke with you and not the lady we actually did speak with. The price in CASH you charged us was DOUBLE what we were told and all together 100% in excess of the advertised packaging. You have ZERO verifiable record keeping, CASH receipt keeping systems and overcharge your services to consumers while falsely advertising to them en masse. I'm not a legal expert, but my buddy is and I/we think you have crossed a legal line that will shut you down permanently because of your gross negligence of the truth of the way you perform your business. The customer service is top notch, they are always prompt, and Russ has bailed me out a last minute transportation jam more than once. They overbooked for shuttle service to the Patriots game 0n 10/14. They did not have enough van space for the return trip after the game. People were left in the middle of a parking lot, unsheltered, no place to go with temps in the 30s for almost 2 hours waiting for vans to arrive. When vans did arrive, they overloaded them with people sitting on others laps without seat belts. We were stranded there. If the weather were worse or if we had an elderly or disabled person this could have been really bad. It cost us $120 for 4 passengers. For the amount of walking from drop off, next time, I will take my car and park and walk in from route 1 and pay 1/4 the price. read more

The great woods shuttle service is not so great. I tried to reserve a shuttle a few days in advance.They told me to call on the date of the event in the morning which I did. Again they were not willing to reserve our spot on the shuttle. Then they told me I needed to call from the hotel. When I reach my hotel I CALLED multiple times and kept going to a phone voice mailbox which was FULL. Now they are saying they Do Not have a shuttle! I would not recommend them. read more

Terrible dropped off in the woods waited hours in the rain for return. They will get you to and from game but not without significant inconvenience. Need full disclosure which was not provided prior to committing to shuttle. Seemed like a good idea until I was given a flashlight to find my way through the woods. read more

Russ is the best!! I had to go 2 miles down the road to pick up my car after getting some work done at the body shop. After a number of phone calls, I could not find a cab company that would pick me up because of the short distance. I explained my dilemma to Russ and he gladly picked me up without hesitation. This company doesn't tell you in advance that there is at least a mile walk from where they drop you off before you even get to the gate of Gillette Stadium. The cost for this is $10.00 per person per way. We paid $80.00 to go to Gillette Stadium and back to the Marriott Courtyard. One person in my group of 4 has Asthma and one is still recovering from an automobile accident. If we had known in advance we could have taken our car with handicap plates and had no walking. Will never use this service again. read more
