Our family used Boston Transportation Group four different times in January. It was the first time we used them after having rather mediocre experiences with hiring local individuals to take us to and from the airport. Overall, we had four great experiences. The drivers were wonderful, experienced, and safe. The cars were very nice and clean. Our son experienced an early arrival when getting back to town and they tracked his flight and made adjustments as necessary. The booking process online is easy, and confirmation and communication via email is thorough. On average, they are about $15 more than the independent, local individuals we used to hire, but it's worth every bit of that $15. We will definitely use Boston Transportation again! read more

Update: Thank you for the response, but I want to clarify a few things. The driver never asked my permission for the switch, nor was I informed that it would take 30 minutes of my time. While I understand that emergencies happen, I was paying by the hour and should have been assigned a new driver immediately--especially considering the delay directly impacted my schedule. Additionally, I have concerns about the integrity of your reviews. I have proof that I was offered money to remove my original review--not to resolve the issue. That speaks volumes about how this situation was handled. ---- Original Review: I booked Boston Transportation Group under the impression that I was hiring a driver by the hour, so I expected a bit more flexibility and professionalism. Things started off okay, but when I asked to add a stop, our driver Nadia seemed noticeably inconvenienced. We stopped to eat, and she said she'd go home while we were inside and to just text when we were done--fine, no problem. But once she picked us back up, the situation got weird. She became fixated on switching out drivers, constantly mentioning it, texting, and calling the guy she wanted to swap with--all while traffic in the area was already a nightmare. Then she pulls over mid-route, and we waste 15 minutes sitting on the side of the road waiting for the other driver. I was already on the verge of being late for a concert, and this delay made it worse. After I expressed how upset I was, she finally decided to just keep driving. But not long after, she pulled off again and swapped with the other driver, Sam. To be honest, Sam was great--and the only reason this isn't a 1-star review. I got the sense he would've given us better advice too, like suggesting we skip the stop since traffic would be bad near the venue. That kind of heads-up would've gone a long way. Lastly, I was expecting a more professional ride experience--not casual chatting about political topics and personal opinions. All in all, I'm disappointed with how it played out. Driver was early for pickup but happy to wait, and courteous. Car comfortable and relaxing. Car services are expensive but if you want the relaxing stress free to Logan I would recommend. Pickup at airport was on time as well, driver was helpful. I was somewhat disappointed the car for return trip was small to the point of feeling cramped in the back seat. However, the business explained that the vehicle was electric in order to be environmentally friendly, and I guess I shouldn't complain about them trying to do their part to reduce emissions. Absolutely horrible service. My first round trip with them- going into Logan no problem...leaving Logan, disaster. Landed 20 minutes early, sat in the front of the plane, and only had carry on luggage. When I arrived outside I texted my driver that I was outside and waiting...no reply or call back. 20 minutes later I called the main office and was told they would call me back. 7 minutes after that they called me and said my driver was still 20 minutes away!!! 'They didn't know you only had carry-on luggage'. Well, put a field in your system to note that. I'll likely be home from Uber before the original driver even arrives.
