And was pleasantly surprised. I called to arrange a pickup from Roslindale to the airport for the next afternoon at 4 PM. Fred took the call and told us he'd be there. The next afternoon, I called at 3 PM to confirm and said he was welcome to come as early as 3:30. He was here at 3:25 and called us from outside to say he was there. The cab was clean and quiet and we had a nice chat on our way to the airport. He offered to pick us up a week later so I e-mailed him our flight info. He confirmed receipt. I e-mailed him that afternoon to confirm and called him when the plane touched down. By the time we'd cleared baggage, he was waiting for us in the limo lot. Again a smooth safe ride home and he even told me about a good new sub shop in the area. I cannot speak too highly of him and I've already recommended him to a friend. This is the way service is supposed to be.

No other explanations of rules, policies or regulations. It was not a contract. However the night before my scheduled date I came down with Covid. I immediately contacted him that night and explained my situation. I asked if he could please refund my deposit. He informed me that it was non-refundable. I then proceeded to ask if he could send me the contract or agreement where it stated his non-refundable policy. It was written no where on the invoice he sent me. He never sent anything.
