We pre-booked a five person van last night. The dispatcher repeated to us, "five passengers, five pieces of luggage" When the driver showed up with his vehicle, my husband said we wouldn't fit. The driver of the cab called dispatch, dispatch then called us. The woman on the phone said they didn't have us down for five people and it would be an hour to get someone to us. She offered to send a second cab and we declined.

They stay in contact (texts/etc) to make sure you know when they've arrived and that they know when your flight has been delayed, etc. So basically, for about the same price as a cab you get stellar reliable service, a quick and safe ride, and can actually get to know and trust your driver. When you reserve a ride ahead of time, Uber will tell you the ride is confirmed and that they will…read moresend you the driver info later. This does not mean that you will actually get a ride. If no driver wants to do it, they will wait until the actual pick-up time to tell you no one is coming. Then you are screwed,of course. Now try to contact customer service about it . All you'll get is a bot that will keep you going around in circles. It will not give you a customer service number. I would say it was terrible service but there is no service there at all.

There is no chat available on website, only standard faq answers. I am guessing that there was some issue with card again in your system-- no issues, plenty of funding, and someone in booking closed the option for tipping? Since, a 5 star rating was already noted as well, which was deserved, but I didn't do it. You Folks are too big for your own good, and your customer service suffers greatly. Second rep actually hung up on me, "James"--he refused to place a manager on the phone. There had to be a fix here, so this driver would rightly receive his earned tip.
