Took Dear Hubby out for a ride late yesterday afternoon. He's been housebound for days with a head cold. We had an early dinner at Panera Bread, then I went for a walk after, while he took it easy. The holiday decorations are still up, and great deals are on at most stores. A speed walk of the whole Promenade section of the outlets led to The Loft. It's at the far northwest end of the center.I popped in and found most everything on additional sale over marked prices. I have a favorite pair of super soft sweater knit leggings from Loft, and hoped they had the same style in another color. They did, but in a shade I don't care for, unfortunately. They did have a great deal on other leggings, so I snagged two pairs; one was free. I also found scarves on 65% off. Hard to beat! A very professional sales associate took care of me at the cash wrap area. She was great. A few minutes later, I was back to the second half of my walk. I'll be checking out this store on future Outlet visits. read more

The two employees were super nice and patient even though it was near closing time. Super cute attire that fits a gal like me that's between size 8 and 10. The quality of the material for a necklace I bought doesn't rust when I wore it in the shower and for the day out in the rain. They have a great deal with their sister store "Ann Taylor", when you sign up, you get 25% off for the remainder of that day. 10% off on Tuesdays. read more

This just might be my new go to place for chic and reasonably affordable clothing, as I struck gold on my recent shopping trip. Personally I always steered clear from stores such as Ann Taylor or any big name designer stores because they never carried my size. My bias has since taken a turn, and though most stores still don't carry extended plus size, this store does have 12-16 but you have to keep your eyes open and be persistent because there is a lot to look at. The store is large and kept clean and organized, while nobody greeted us when we walked it, that's okay with me because I personally like to get my own feel for a store before I get bombarded with can I help you from the sales clerks, we were soon greeted and asked if we wanted a fitting room set up for us, they were definitely busy As anyone who is on the shorter side and is packing curves will know, its very hard to find up to date fashions that aren't going to put you in the poor house and fit well, and on the off chance a store does carry a larger sizes they are normally boxy, less than flattering fashions that leave you feeling like you might as well be wearing a potato sack. My inner fashionista has emerged and she's battling the casual yet tasteful style I've been sporting for years and is looking to throw a little caution to the wind and have some fun, now that I've lost 25+ lbs I'm in need of some new clothes and new sizes so this is the perfect opportunity. That's where The Loft excels, as I walked into the store with a bit of trepidation, the front of the store has regular prices (or possibly outlet priced clothing) and toward the back on the right side, there is a very large clearance section and that's where I soon began finding several tops in XL that were eye catching and sexy, I found several pair of pants that fit, (and ladies they carry sizes 12 through 16 in regular and petite) I decided on a pair of crisp white chinos that fit like a glove and are very flattering to the waist line and so very comfortable too, with that I then spotted a sea green & black halter top to compliment the pants, and I also ended up with a two sweaters, they were marked down so low I had to get them. In the end I walked out spending under $100, not bad, not bad. So for any ladies or girls out there who've been like me and have avoided these stores because they believe they won't have anything that fits, I'm here to tell you my 5'4 frame and curves found clothes that not only look good, they are comfortable, and you won't be breaking the bank, with that said I'm already planning my next trip. read more

Customer service is great here, reps even hand out coupon codes if you are nice! Its does get crowded over the weekend though, beware. There are always good sales and discounts at this location. LOFT outlet is my place for perfectly priced sweaters and cardigans. The dresses and tops are really comfy and conservative as well. The clearance rack is definitely worth going through. I've gotten many business separates from here and get complimented all the time. Cheers! read more

This is my favorite place to come for professional clothing. You get a lot of really cute blouses, skirts, blazers, pants and shorts all for super affordable prices. My tip: Always hit the clearance rack first. Everytime I go, I always find so much nice stuff there (additional 60% off) that I often don't even bother looking at the other stuff. I've gotten $90 pants for $20, blouses that were regularly $60 for only $12, etc. Love this store. And for the most part, the employees are really nice and helpful, though not always the most professional. I've overheard a lot of loud personal conversations while shopping. But hey, if I wanted a high class experience, the outlet isn't what first comes to mind anyway. read more

My toddler was having a potty training emergency and even though they DO have a bathroom (as TWO of there employees said before I found the manager) the manager said we could not use it. She told us it was two store down... it was not. So I had to run carrying my crying and embarrassed child 10 stores away, and down a hall to find the restroom. Thank you for nothing. I've been a customer for years and when I needed a small favor you (the manager) treated us so rudely. read more

Terrible customer service! I literally just walked out because of what I witnessed! A customer went up to an employee (who is wearing a stripped blazer with a yellow top w/glasses) and asked if they had prize scanners. The employee said: "No, we are not Target or Walmart!" I was here with my family enjoying the outlets. As we were waiting, we noticed that the security guard was very interested in what my younger brother was doing, which was looking at bracelets (fake costume jewelry at that),and was literally 5 inches away behind him. He was appropriately dressed (shorts, and a T-shirt) - the farthest thing from a suspicious character. We felt like we didn't belong there, and have no plans on returning. We lodged a written complaint with our contact information but never got a response back. read more

Customer service here is horrendous. Every once in awhile, you might get a pleasant employee. Otherwise, attitudes and rude. If you ask a question, be prepared to be made felt like you're creating a big inconvenience. read more

I love this store I have gone in several times and am always asked if I need help or are informed of any specials running in the store every time I go in. The clearance section is awesome I can always find a couple things at a steal! I like LOFT and the way the clothes fit. This LOFT Outlet I thought was lacking in nicer clothes, they were all very casual and some of them quite frankly were not trendy in accordance with LOFT styling. Maybe that was why they were at the outlet. The store overall was crowded - too many racks and tables it was hard to maneuver through, even though it was just myself and another customer there. The petites section was small. I walked out of this store not buying anything and that is rare for me in in a LOFT or Ann Taylor store. read more

I found a lower price online after I made my purchase in store. I called the store because I live far away and asked the staff if I can get back the difference since the pricing is lower online. She said she didn't know how to do it in her computer so she cannot help me. She didn't ask anybody and she didn't even try. I like their clothing but customer services really sucks. read more

I like shopping at the Loft Outlet in Camarillo they don't have the best quality clothes but they are good to wear around town since we can't go anywhere because of Virus. I bought a sweater about 6 months ago and because we live by the beach we don't to much cold weather on Dec 9 I decided to wear my sweater and when I put it on I notice the sleeves were coming apart I took it off and took it back to store the next and I showed to the sales clerk and she called the Manager from the back, ( I don't know why they have this guy as a manager what does he know about women clothing) . He said he could not take it back because it does not show on his computer and he had the nerve to ask me if I bought it last year I say NO I bought it about 6 months ago his respond was I can't help you you have to call CS and they will help you I called right there and they said they didn't know why the Manager did not take it back, I have called there CS number and the way it works you send them a text and you get back a automatic response and saids we will contact back to you shortly they never do Forget calling them you have to Waite about a hour before they answer. All I want is a credit for the defected sweater and one can make a decision here it is Dec 19...Never shop there again. Bad Customer Service read more

On Monday, December 22, I was at this store at the Camarillo outlet. This place has always had good customer service until I over heard a comment from one of the leads. This lead asked a customer if she had a dressing room, the customer responded I speak spanish, and this lead responded "you should learn English so I can help you". I felt so offended. I think if this store wants to maintain good customer service she should learn Spanish and some manners! read more

This Loft store itself has very cute stuff however; the customer service recently is lacking professionalism and customer service etiquette. I am a regular loft customer, I have been coming here for a few years now and I always enjoyed coming here and loading up on all the great deals but recently there seems to be a change in their staff and the new staff is not very helpful or nice. The customers who walk in get stared at up and down when they walk in the door and no one ever comes by to ask if you need anything and to top it off if you interrupt their personal conversation that they are having with each other you get a gasp and sigh. I have to agree with the other reviews that the store does have some really good deals but the staff's customer service needs to improve. I tried discussing this with the new Manager Olivia but with the reply I got from her, it seems she is totally fine with it and doesn't see there is anything wrong. I do hope that someone from Corporate walks in soon and see's this so that some order can be taken into place to make this store a more pleasant place to shop for everyone. read more
