There was a snow squall going on, but I wanted a glass of wine and I'd be danged if I'd let a snow squall stop me from getting a glass of red. Blessedly, this place was open, and they welcomed me and my friends, even though we were bedraggled and covered with snow. Bad Moravian is full of vintage furniture and artwork everywhere you look. It's one of those places that you would call "a vibe" (although I would never say those words). You could also call it "hipster," although I'd never say that word either. The decor is just very intentional and aware of itself. I got a glass of Lambrusco, which was nice and effervescent, and nice to sip on while I defrosted. My friends got a glass of Beaujolais and a beer, but Bad Moravian has lots of other carefully curated selections of adult beverages.
