Fortunately, we had reservations, but they were turning people away w/o them. Tried different martinis that night - French, Sunburnt, and the Raspberry. They were all good / refreshing. Don't worry - they weren't all for me! For our meals - we got the Stuffed Shrimp and the Chiopini. For both - we upgraded our salad to the Caesar - which was quite worth it. The Stuffed Shrimp was six large shrimp filled with a blend of snow and lump crab meat, baked and finished with a lemon tarragon beurre blancsauce. It was so wonderful - especially the sauce which was a great pair for the bread. It came with a Vegetable Blend of julienne carrots, green beans, along with red & yellow peppers, sautéed with sesame oil. Also - Au Gratin Potatoes with Smoked Swiss & provolone. I actually loved the green beans side and the potatoes in my shrimp/crab sauce was fabulous! My husband's dish was Lobster, fresh scallops and shrimp sautéed with garlic, artichoke hearts, fresh basil and chef's tomatoes, tossed with egg fettuccine in a spicy tomato white wine sauce and topped with Italian cheeses. I didn't try it, but he loved it! He felt there was an abundance of seafood - to the point where he almost couldn't finish it all. He thought it was one of the highlights of our trip. There was zero room for dessert after all this. It was a fabulous meal that I would recommend. Also - kudos to the woman maitre d who handled the entire front of the house. She did a wonderful job of coordinating a full bar of people trying to get in. She was much calmer than I could have been!

We had the chicken tacos, the quesadilla and the nachos, the menu is relatively limited outside because it's more like bar food however they make it right outside so that's reassuring and I like that. The people tending to the tables are efficient and nice. They have water sitting outside so you don't even have to ask the bar is walk up and order and the prices are appropriate. In fact they have like $3 beer cans I believe or something similar. You can also bring your dogs, which is a huge draw for that patio. It's right on the main street of Sister Bay. They did an amazing job preserving its history while adding modern touches that make it feel fresh and inviting. Be sure to look up at the roof when you arrive. The food is fantastic and such a welcome change from the usual bar menu. Everything I've had has been delicious, and the prices are more than fair for the quality and portion sizes. I also love that they're always mixing up the entertainment. Whether it's live bands or different styles of music, there's always something new going on, so no two visits feel exactly the same. The bar is top-notch too. Great selection of top-shelf liquor, beers, and seltzers, and they don't water down the drinks. You definitely get what you pay for. What keeps me coming back, though, is the atmosphere. The staff and the people there are genuinely friendly. I've brought friends from out of town several times, and without fail they always tell me what a great place it is and how much they enjoyed the evening. The Lodge on Main has that rare combination of great food, strong drinks, live music, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. The waitress was eating with her hands as she rolled silverware on napkins. Bartender looked at us a few times, ignored us and kept talking to two women in the corner. I was shocked as it was 100% opposite from the great service at the sister restaurant the Alibi. The cook, Matt, at the Alibi suggested the Ogden club. Very disappointing. So much for small town friendliness, that doesn't exist here! Sad cause when we travel is when I leave yelp reviews and often even social media shout outs. I hope you see this and do better.
