This is the WORST Loft store I've ever been to, and my last experience was the last straw that made me vow to never step foot in a loft again. I called the store in advance to ask if they had any wide let riviera pants in a size four. The woman I spoke with said they did, but only in a yellow, which was perfect, because that's the color I was looking for. I asked if she could check if the store had a size four in stock because if so I was going to drive over to purchase, and she said "don't worry, we have a ton of them." The store is a 20 minute drive from my place, so after being assured that they had my size, I left right away. I get there see a stack of riviera pants, none of them in a size 4. I explained to the woman at the cash register that I'd called earlier about the yellow Riviera pants, and ask if they have any 4s in the back. Another woman comes out and says that all they have is what's out there, and they don't have any fours left. When I ask them why the person I spoke with would've told me they had a ton of them in every size, one of them goes "you didn't ask about the riviera pants, you asked about a different pair of yellow pants." Those were literally the only yellow pants in the entire store. Frustratingly, when I bring this to her attention and ask her what other pants she thought I could've been talking about given they have no other yellow ones, she barks at me and yells, and I quote "WELL THEY'RE NOT THAT FLATTERING ON SO YOU'RE NOT MISSING MUCH." First off, why would you work for a company and openly bash the clothes? Secondly, if you look at the pictures the business posted to this yelp page, along with lofts Instagram, those pants are posted a ton of times. Why would they advertise them so heavily if that was the case? Thirdly, the fact that I just spend almost an hour of my time driving there, looking for the pants and then being given that answer, and having to drive back empty handed, is infuriating. I don't expect this Loft to be around much longer if this is how the employees treat the customers. They lost one of them today, and I only expect that trend to continue. read more
