This place is really beautiful, especially with all the Christmas lights, the Christmas tree and all the decor, it's giving a lowkey classy vibe. I did not try their food, as I was not hungry, but I did end up having a few beers, sake, and ordered hookah. I was pretty surprised that their hookah was only $20, it's cheaper compared to other hookah lounges so that was really nice. I just found my new spot. I will be coming here more often from now on, they also have a DJ and what's more fun was as soon as I sat on the machine, I immediately hit the big win so that paid for all my drinks and shisha. The cherry blossoms were so pretty and there was a lot of huge tv screens showing football games you can watch while enjoying your meal or smoking your hookah, hanging out! Cool place! I'll be coming back again soon! Thanks!

No doubt this place is beautiful, the aesthetics are stunning and the vibe is cool as hell. They have a DJ, (not sure if it's only on weekends) a pool table, serve food, ginormous TV's to watch sports on, a full size bar and the coolest thing ever, they serve hookah! Seating on the inside and option balcony seating. Casino just right below the escalator's. I really wanted to give this restaurant a 10/10 but the food is where it fell short for me. I have had their sushi in the past, which was pretty good and I heard their ramen is good too. I came in at 10:30pm, tried to order Yakitori pork ribs (which was unavailable, they stop serving it after a certain time they said) Was recommended loft fries, so I ordered that, a red dragon roll and gyudon bowl. It took about a half hour for my food, I came up and to my surprise, they didn't have my sushi roll. Apparently they stop making sushi at a certain time too. Not going to lie, I was most excited about that. Took my food home and I was very disappointed. My fries were good but didn't have much on it. A few pieces of meat that braised the top and the rest was Literally a box of fries. For $20 I would have assumed it woulda been LOADED fries, with a decent amount of protein. My gyudon, def not gyudon. It was more of a Korean bbq flavor. Meat was dry and the quality was just not appetizing, portion was small too, it was more of a snack. That ran me about $13. I felt like I wasted money, huge heartbreak! Very underwhelmed over the food and the fact that they didn't have what I wanted available. They close at midnight, so you would assume they would have everything on their menu still being served. Overall, staff is really nice, the restaurant is gorgeous and looks like the perfect spot for date night or a night out with friends. I'll give it another try, and order something else. If all fails at least there's alcohol! Lol CHEERS!

One of my favorite places to eat inside the jamul casino. Make sure you come the first two hours they open because there is a happy hour appetizers. A great place to watch the game or watch since you're up above the casino. They also have great views of the jamul Valley. I recommend: the sushi rolls, ouchi eggs, Tokyo sticky wings, and the build your own bowl.

This is a really cool Asian style fusion cuisine restaurant serving fresh sushi and birria ramen. They have amazing craft beers and yummy cocktails. The music was just right and the views are outstanding. Service was good too.

I come to Loft 94 at Jamul Casino every now and then for the Asian fusion vibe and sushi, and we headed there recently for a little date night with my husband. The atmosphere is always fun casino energy with DJs, cocktails, and that nice view overlooking the area. We started with the appetizer of ouchi eggs (those boiled ramen-style eggs, halved, breaded, and sauced). Honestly, it was such a unique flavor--really interesting and pretty tasteful. Not terrible at all; I think I'd order them again as a fun starter. For mains, I went with the yellowtail hand roll, but unfortunately, the first one had a very weird soapy taste--like the flavors just weren't there, almost a bit rancid. I had to send it back, and they were nice about remaking it. The second one was alright, a little better, but still something felt slightly off. It just wasn't hitting the spot for me this time, so definitely not my favorite. My husband got the poke bowl, and he really enjoyed it. The salmon tasted pretty decent, fresh enough, and he said it wasn't bad at all--solid choice if you're in the mood for that. For dessert, we shared taiyaki with vanilla ice cream. The vanilla ice cream was great, can't go wrong there, but the bread part wasn't satisfying enough. It felt like it should've had some filling inside the fish shape to make it more complete--kind of hollow and underwhelming. Overall, the food this visit wasn't all that great compared to previous times we've gone. Service was fine, and they handled the roll issue without drama, but the sushi disappointment brought it down. The ouchi eggs and poke were the highlights. Might give it another shot another time since we've had better experiences before, but this round was just okay. Good for a casual casino dinner if you're already there, but not blowing me away.

I came here with my family, and was meet with the most perfect service and food. The food was so good, and the portions were huge for just a good price! I highly recommend coming here. I am definitely coming back here again. One thing is that we were seated right by the DJ and i couldnt hear my family talk. It was extremely loud.

Conveniently located on top of Jamul casino Asian yakitori eatery and full service bar serving small plates and noodles menu and cocktails. Nicely decorated, roomy and clean tables inside looking down the action floor or outside open air gazing at the beautiful full moon over the Jamul valley. Thee are nice heaters outside to sit by. I stopped by for a drink while waiting for a friend. Staff is warm and relax. Life is short just take it easy. Huge screens for watching sports. No smoking smell is a huge plus.

It was our first time at the casino and came in with no expectations. Located upstairs from the main gaming floor, we heard music pumping and saw a sprinkling of people dining. When the hostess asked if we wanted inside or outside (remember it's our first time here so WHAT!!?! Outside patio is an option?????) As soon as she mentioned heaters I said yes! OUTSIDE IT IS!! The DJ was JAMMIN!!! We were seated along the railing. The heaters looked like giant table lamps! I also saw that they had hookah available too (but we didn't partake). Our server was really cool (wish I had caught his name) and made some fabulous recommendations for Ramen! I loved it all! The food was really good, the music was a WHOLE vibe and the crowd was pretty laid back. Lol I Yelped it while I was sitting there to see what it looked like during the day! OMG what a view!! We will DEFINITELY be back.

Loft 94 has some really solid food and a cool vibe. The bento box was great, and the short rib was delicious and really flavorful. I also tried the ramen, which was very good, and the Black Dragon roll was really tasty. The peach mint hookah was another highlight--smooth and enjoyable. Overall, I would definitely come back for the food and hookah. The only downside was that the gentleman handling the hookahs told us we had to return it exactly at 8:58 because they were closing, which felt a bit rushed and unprofessional and made the experience a little uncomfortable at the end. Aside from that moment, the food and flavors were great, and it's still a spot I'd return to.

The food at Loft 94 is always fresh! The pickled cabbage is one of my favorites, the sushi is packed with flavor, and the fried prawns will leave you wanting more. The custom ramen bowl is unlike any other, with endless options to make it exactly how you like. On top of the great food, the people truly make the experience. Management staff Alan and bartenders Jessenia and Brandon go above and beyond to make you feel right at home. They work together like family, and it really shows.

As always we had a awesome meal I had the bento box delicious Deanna I think her name was was server did great job super kind as always Mike came over to see us and is always super nice and really makes us feel like we're the most important people there and it really made us feel like we were VIP the way I was treated by both Mike and Deanna this how it should be in any restaurant I'd never seen Diana so I know she's new but for being a newer employee she acted like a veteran every time I come in we do make sure we look for Mike just to see how he's doing as always we always ask us making sure that he goes out of his way to see us today he was actually busting a table not done yet and you stopped what he was doing as I said to come see us but the same way always in these reviews I'll be back just because they were awesome read more

Grabbed late night grub at Jamul Casino up at Loft 94. Enjoyed gyoza, tempura and sticky sweet hot wings. All really satisfying and good, but what gives this place 5 Stars is Shannon the server who was totally attentive, explained each item, and knew I was thirsty so she purposely brought 2 iced teas and a water right from the get go. First I just want to say that I love this place. Everyone is so polite and very professional. The food is amazing. My experience with Shanon and Rachel has always been great and has kept me coming back. My only complaint is that the hours that they open is too late in the afternoon. I only wish they would open earlier especially on the weekend. For this reason I'm not able to come here as often as I would like but I am hoping that in the near future they will have more extended hours. Keep up the good work everyone. read more

Was looking forward to watch a good UFC match at Hollywood Casino's Loft 94. They are located on the second level of the casino. Since the casino is equipped with multiple big screen TVs, we wanted to sit, drink and eat. What caught our eye at the foot of the escalator was Loft 94's sign for $5 bites. So we bit, and headed on up. When my friend and I arrived, the bar was full of people and the surrounding tables were busy, but we got there early enough to find a table. There are a few standard height tables and chairs, but most of the tables and chairs were bar stool height. They were metallic and cold. Not very comfortable at all. It seemed like they have outdoor seating, but it was too dark, cold and rainy to see outside, but they opened that part of the patio for the cold air to gust in. We did not know if we needed to seat ourselves or if anyone was going to seat us. We ended up seating ourselves, but I got cold, so after placing our drink and food order, we moved to a standard size table. We did not know that our table move would cause our server some confusion. We tried almost everything on the $5 menu. We ordered their street tacos, garlic fries, empanadas, lumpia, flatbread and sliders. Every food item we ordered was yummy. However, it took awhile for our food to come out. Our server did not put our complete order in when we first ordered. My friend ordered one of their sour beers and I ordered the ginger beer. People were also getting a little rowdy when they changed the channel from UFC to a Basketball game. I suppose we all made enough noise for them to change the channels back to the UFC event. There were at least four TVs playing throughout the area. It was fun to hang out, watch what was known to be the quickest UFC main event match and enjoy the food with friends. It would be nice to see them better organized, like having a host at the top of the escalator letting people know that they can seat themselves or not sit where it's blocked off, etc. Next time we'll know what to do. At least we arrived early enough to find a table for four. The area was really busy and full of people, closer to the main event. Our server apologized for not being on top of things. It's all good, It turned out to be a fun evening. read more

Our server, Amber, was AWESOME! Great attitude and very helpful. However, it took a very, very, VERY long time to get our food (and sometimes our drinks). This could be due to the private party that was also there, but it was nevertheless frustrating. Additionally, one of the heaters near us was broken, but we saw a woman working on it throughout the night. Nice view and nice decor/architecture. Berry Oasis is a great cocktail if you like sweet stuff, although I ordered it twice and it looked wildly different each time due to the different bartenders making it differently. I ordered the BTLA which was a large portion. Nothing mind-blowing, but it was good. I mean, it's a BTLA - pretty standard dish! read more

We had a wonderful evening of drinks and great food. Our server, Joniesha Brown, went out of her way to make our evening one to remember. She was prompt with our drinks and food and made sure to keep us warm by calling for new propane to light the heaters. We will definitely be going back to Loft 94! read more

I've eaten in many Japanese restaurants and with that I learned to pay attention to the Sushi chef. If they take the time to care about the smallest of things then it's going to be higher quality. If you want fast service then quality goes way down; you can't tell an artist to speed up a great piece of art. Shanon our server was extremely patient with us, as we were with the chef and his sous chefs. If they take the time to make sure the rice, which is the utmost of importance in the sushi game that was my sign that 101% it would be of higher value. This is a diamond in the rough and if you too love the art of sushi, please visit this spot. They are flying under the radar for now but once people take their heads out the sand, they'll realize how much value is there. Thank y'all for the experience! read more

This is my first time here at 94 loft, I must admit I was kinda hesitant at first, but after the friendly staff made me feel so welcomed, I decided to give it a try, and I'm so happy I did, the food is absolutely amazing thank you so much Chef Christian and the drinks are strong and good I mean real good lol thank you Olga and Phaff for making my night right lol! Had a wonderful time. I am enthralled by level of service our host Bradley. Every recommendation he made for our dinner and alcohol choices was on point. The restaurant sports a great outdoor option for dining and this time they had a DJ who was good at keeping the atmosphere friendly and exciting. Love coming here and smoking hookah! Abdul is the man!! He makes great hookahs and the staff there is awesome! Very nice and attentive. So happy Jamul Casinos Loft 94 has brought back the local SD brews to east county. Loft 94 has a great mix of local brews and awesome asian (Japanese) influence food. The atmosphere is chill but the service is the best around. Kelli is new but has such a great attitude. Hope she the waiter for my table every time. What a keeper. At the bar, James; he knows his beer. Great conversations and appreciates his customers. He floats around the bar engaging all the lucky patrons. Hector, he is a machine...Great conversation, great attitude and he cares about his crew. Winning team for Loft but more importantly, for the patron.. So refreshing for the non-playing spouses to have our special venue for food, drink and conversation. Keep up the great work Jamul Casino. read more

Been a regular at Jamul Casino, but first time at Loft 94. James and his manager Hector were excellent. All of James' recommendations tasted great. This is NOT true for some other of the casino's restaurants. I had the pork belly and skirt steak yakitori and the lobster hand roll and spider cut roll. The view is good too! read more

I seriously love coming to this quite little corner of the Casino every time I come in. I'm actually surprised how many people don't know know it's there. From the awesome food to the wonderful service I get every time from Rachel the bartender to Shanon the server. Rachel is always so full of smiles and her Old Fashion is amazing. She even takes the time to make orange roses in her rocks ice. I mean who does that! Shanon is always super nice and keeps us laughing, she's such a fantastic lady. These two are seriously a dynamic duo. I highly recommend Loft 94 to everyone who comes to the casino, you will love the food (especially the Ramen and Sushi) and if you are lucky enough to be served by the girls you will see what Im saying read more

"A needle in a haystack" "A diamond in the rough", there cant be any better analogies for this place. From its revamping when it originally opened with a lost menu and confusing food and confusion to what the loft was. It has now earned the true meaning of a amazing quality restaurant with amazing customer service. What makes the service SO AMAZING! is there workers, one in particular, Shannon "AKA Shenanigan's". Words cant explain to how amazing her customer service skills are, to be honest more restaurants need more workers like her, becuase of her, we continuously go to that bar every Friday, (except recently due to work related issues). I highly recommend the loft give her a much earned promotion and raise, because without her the Loft would be so blunt and boring. Now to the food, which was once lost but now has been found. From the amazing sushi to the bomb A$$ noodles, the menu has brought back the loft to life. When it comes to the drinks, if you are a IPA lover, make a stop in this bar, becuase the IPA's are amazing, and the menu size is decent (PLEASE ADD MORE IPA's) besides the amazing buzz lol, the views just put this place over the top, from the stunning mountain sides of jamul to the blissful clear country skies, never have a been to a place where the views are truly breath taking and take you away from that city living. Loft 94 is a true getaway from the home kitchen. If I could have it my way, i would love to keep this place a hidden Gem, but I cannot hold on to such amazing place to myself, as this Gem deserves to be seen by all. The service and food were really out of this world! I just went this Friday with my parents to celebrate my graduation and we were blown away with the quality of service and the taste of the food. Shannon especially went above and beyond her job to make this experience all that much better. Especially with her extensive knowledge of the menu and helping us pair the food we wanted with drinks. Based on our recent visit, I'm struggling to understand how this establishment has an overall score…read moreof 4 stars. We were not greeted by an employee at the hostess stand and finally sat ourselves. It took 15 minutes for a server to greet us and ask for our drink order. Once he arrived for our drink order we put in a small food order to test out the quality of proteins. It took 40 minutes to get two hand rolls and one albacore sashimi order. The order took so long to arrive that once it did, we quickly put in a specialty roll order before trying the hand rolls. The specialty roll came out in two minutes flat, I did see a roll sitting on the sushi bar before we ordered. I believe we got someone else's roll because I asked about the long wait times. After the roll was delivered a server came over to our booth specifically to make a snarky comment, he said "you're lucky this was fast, people wait 1 hour for this on Fridays." The restaurant was clean, had a neat wall painting and the parking was free, those are the only positive experiences from our visit. The sashimi was dry as if it had been sitting out not properly stored. Hand rolls were mostly rice, the only protein is what you can see in the pic - gone in one bite of a 4 bite roll. The specialty roll was average. This was a very unpleasant experience, we will not go back and will not recommend to friends/family/yelpers. It should also be noted that we went on a Sunday afternoon and there were 3 sushi chefs behind the counter, 3 servers on the floor and 1 host. Hard to understand why the wait times were excessive and service was poor. Our server did acknowledge that the service was slow, however, he did not offer any apology, he just shrugged it off.

Outstanding Service & Atmosphere at Loft 94! We had an incredible experience at Loft 94 inside Jamul Casino, and it was all thanks to the amazing team of Haylie, Kasey, Allan, and Collin. From the moment we arrived, Kasey greeted us with a warm smile and a welcoming laugh. She initially seated us at a table, but when we mentioned it was a bit too close to the noise, she gladly and graciously relocated us without hesitation. She made sure we had fresh menus and everything we needed, setting the tone for an enjoyable evening. Haylie was our server, and she absolutely shined. Her upbeat energy, constant attentiveness, and genuine smile made the entire experience feel personal. She was always on the move but never missed a beat when it came to checking in on us. Her service was top-notch and full of heart. When Haylie stepped away for a well-deserved break, Collin stepped in seamlessly to continue the same level of attentive care. He has a genuinely caring attitude and took the time to connect with us beyond just service -- asking thoughtful questions and ensuring we felt seen and appreciated. His smooth transition from Haylie's service made it feel as though nothing changed at all, and we were in excellent hands the entire time. And then there's Allan, the floor manager, who clearly leads by example. This wasn't my first visit to loft 94...I visited a while ago (around October 2022) and had a horrible experience...my server took forever to great us. She was either grumpy or just hated her job because she barely checked on us and the food took forever! I was really never going to come back. BUT!! My friend invited me to jamul casino and a little slots sounded fun so off we went. While we were there my friend told me about her favorite place to eat and mentioned loft 94. I told her there's no way I'm eating there again. She assured me that it was great and maybe I had a one off experience last time so I begrudgingly agreed to go. From the moment we arrived at the top of the escalator until the moment we departed...everything was fabulous! Our server was Lele and she was so sweet! She checked on us multiple times and made sure everything was good. She is really a cream of the crop server! I will request her when i come back. The manager melli was walking around and checking on tables and when she checked in on our table I told her all about the past experience and also told her how great this experience was. It's like night and day. (a good manager makes all the difference- don't lose her, she's a gem and really seems like she cares about loft.) The food...chefs kiss! It was delicious. We shared the chicken caragee and I ordered some noodles-i cant remember what they were called but it was like ramen but no soup. Everything came out hot and delicious...i will admit that the food took a little longer than i would normally hope, but it was a busy Friday night, so it's also sort of expected Let me just say everything was amazing and i am so glad i agreed to come back. We had a little bit of a frustrating situation this evening. We came to take advantage of the midweek 50% off menu. There is a great selection of items and we started with sushi. I'm not a fan of spice so I asked Caylie if they could make the spicy tuna roll without the spice. I said I'd order something else if it couldn't be done. The whole time we were looking at the discounted menu. Our sushi order came and they were able to do the tuna roll without the spice. It was delicious. We then got our eamen and we loved it. Then the bill came and my "not spicy" tuna roll was $15.95 instead of the $5.95 price for the spicy tuna. What the heck? Caylie knew we were ordering off the discounted menu. Why didn't she come back to me and tell me they could do a non spicy version but it would be more expensive. I would never have paid $15.95. Not cool Caylie. I feel she was trying to increase the bill so she would get a bigger tip. What happened to good customer service? She didn't even apologize for her lack of communication. I was very frustrated. As a 5 year patron of the LOFT 94, yes my crew has been regular patrons since its inception, I can proudly commit to this review. The new management implemented prior to the new year has significantly improved the dynamics. All the staff members are fully supportive of all guest needs and will accommodate any requests within reason. I must give credit to the recent hire by Jamul Casino with the implementation of F&B Manager Mr. Vu who has brought nothing but positive energy and a professional touch that was genuinely needed. Mr. Vu's management provides a "Need not to worry" experience with any server because Shannon, Rachel, Angelina and others are always attentive. And lastly, I always to try to remember the chef's but it can be left unsaid because of the GREAT time you're having at the LOFT. I recently dined at Loft 94 in Jamul and had a delightful experience. The service and atmosphere were top-notch. We were seated outdoors, where we enjoyed a beautiful view, adding to the overall ambiance. We started with the seaweed salad and sweet chili edamame, both of which were fantastic. My cousin had some specific requests for her sushi, wanting it cucumber-wrapped with no rice, and the staff were able to accommodate her perfectly. I ordered two sushi rolls. While they were tasty, I felt the presentation could have been better, and the rolls could have used a bit more flavor or toppings to enhance them. Despite this, I am keen to return to try more of their menu offerings, especially the teppanyaki and ramen. Overall, Loft 94 is a great spot with excellent service and a wonderful atmosphere. Our waitress Shannon was so friendly and even went out of her way to make sure the kitchen could still serve me something even though it was right after the cut off time for food. She was so nice and made my night with getting me that amazing bowl of Ramen and Chicken Katsu I'm not one to leave reviews very often but Shannon's customer service was on point! The LOFT 94 just became the elite casual dining and lounge experience in East County. With views of the rolling hills, gas latern heaters, comfortable seating is just the basics. The greatness is in the new menu, staff members and sports bar experience. Take a look at the new menu and some of the offerings provided. You will be very impressed with exquisite taste and experience of some Japanese delicacies for a fraction of the cost of the downtown joints. read more

The menu is interesting because it offers a range of Asian dishes, not just Chinese food, which gives some variety. The interior is nice and fancy for a Chinese restaurant, smaller so if you have a big group it might be hard to accommodate. We ordered the surf and turf, and the salt and pepper lobster. The siu mai was fine, but the lobster was disappointing I'd skip it. It was deep fried, not very flavorful, and didn't feel worth the price. You get about five lobster tail halves for around $40, which didn't feel like a good value. The surf and turf was also deep fried and then stir-fried in sweet heat sauce. The sauce was tasty, but the dish didn't feel very authentic. Service was okay. When I asked questions about some dishes, our server didn't seem very knowledgeable and kind of brushed off my questions, which made ordering harder. I might try other dishes next time since the menu is large, but this visit was just average for me, especially for the higher price point.

The wings are actually pretty good--crispy and flavorful. The other items are more hit or miss. The California roll is basically something you could pick up at Ralphs, and the miso soup tastes (and looks) like it's been brewing a little too long. Overall, it's decent casino food, especially if you're using comps. I just wouldn't go out of my way to pay full price for it.

Both became my dinner and kids had Mac and cheese. My husband enjoyed the curry. I haven't seen the restaurant before outside of driving by otw to the gym. It's why we chose to order. Although some of the food was edible, I will not go back.

If the kitchen is experiencing unusually long wait times, cashiers should communicate realistic pickup estimates rather than quote times they cannot meet. On this particular Saturday evening, we placed a takeout order at Ginger Noodle Bar at 7:50 PM. Our cashier, Cheryl, advised us that our order would be ready in approximately 15 minutes. Unfortunately, our food was not available until 8:35 PM--about 30 minutes beyond the promised pickup time. The experience became even more frustrating as we stood at the pickup counter waiting for our order, repeatedly asking whether the dishes coming out of the kitchen belonged to us. When our food finally arrived, it was placed in the designated pickup area without anyone notifying us, despite us and another couple standing there clearly waiting for delayed orders. This lack of communication added unnecessarily to the frustration, especially since we were missing the live band performance on the opposite side of the casino while waiting. To be fair, the food itself was exactly as expected. We ordered the Bo Luc Lac and Kung Pao Chicken, and both dishes were served hot, fresh, flavorful, and properly prepared. The order was complete with plenty of napkins, chopsticks, utensils, and fortune cookies. Unfortunately, good food alone could not make up for the excessive wait time and poor communication surrounding our pickup. We ordered takeout expecting to enjoy our meal while taking in the casino's entertainment, but instead spent nearly 45 minutes waiting for food that was promised in 15. Because of this experience, I find it difficult to give a stronger recommendation, and future guests ordering takeout should be prepared for the possibility that quoted pickup times may not accurately reflect actual wait times.

Salt and pepper wings!…read more I can't believe it took me so long to try this place until I saw The Taco Fiend do the Salt and Pepper wings ranking for San Diego. This place did not disappoint! I would say Top 3 places I've tried in SD. Their noodles and fried rice is also solid. The lady that had been at the counter every time I go is fast and efficient. The place has dim lighting, quiet and a good amount of tables for dine in. They have their own parking lot and always plenty of space.
