I can't say enough how much my husband and I love this place! The food is always awesome, and the service is even better! For a while we didn't even know it was in the casino because it's on the opposite side of the food court and upstairs. I'm so glad we found it! Located ok no Jamuk Casino on the upper level this place is great to take a break from gambling to refresh and feed your hungry. One of us got the tomato and pepperoni flat bread and it was delicious. Another ordered the fried shrimp and it came with 8 shrimp a generous side of fries and coke slaw...all was good. My cousin and I ordered a blta....where the A is for avacardo...it was so big and also came with fries. They offer a full bar as well. The price was about $15 per head. Beautiful view. Food was OK. If you order sliders, there's only 2, and they are the tiniest sliders in the world, and for $14, a bit over priced. Service: well, the manager took our order and he was friendly. We never saw our waitress and she never checked on us for drink refills. Took our plates as we were still chewing. I absolutely love coming into Jamul Casino to do alittle gambling and then head up to Loft 94 for some delicious food and great service. Everytime Ive been in I always get Ashley. Shes one of the best servers I've ever had. The Last time I came in was last Saturday (day before the superbowl) they seemed really busy but that didnt stop Ashley from giving me prompt and amazing service. Shes always on top of it. I brought my girlfriend to Loft 94, and this is the first and last time. The service here was extremely horrible. The wait time for your food to arrive is over 40 minutes. I seen other people leaving, cause they cannot wait too. Just a really bad experience and I don't recommend this place to anyone. I give two stars because the place is hip and modern; however the foods are below average and overpriced. We had fried tofu and mochi. The tofu were tasteless and the outside skin of mochi were hard like dried up plado ( generally that means they are old and have been in the refrigerator for a long time). This place is outstanding especially on a cool afternoon after work to have drinks and appetizers with your Lve. We enjoyed the lumpia, mini empanadas and the fried spicy buffalo caulifower. it was quite and had a great view. Of course it was the middle of the week so it was nice and quite. Normally, our first stop at the casino is Loft 94 to have dinner prior to playing. I've left a good review for this restaurant in the past but I need to say our service this evening was absolutely terrible. Something has definitely changed here. We were hungry and ordered as soon as our server Taylor came to the table. First our server fails to bring me a straw so I can drink the soda I order. Then she fails to check on us so I wait until our food is brought to the table to ask for a straw. Then I asked the manager where the beers are that we ordered. Well, received our beers after our food. Asked for the bill after finishing dinner and our server fails to provide a dining credit while the players card sat on the table the entire evening. It doesn't seem our feedback to the manager did anything to resolve the situation. Not much of an apology was offered. Not the great dining experience we are used to. Again, something has definitely changed and it's very apparent. I guess we will take a break from this casino after tonight and maybe return at a later date for a better experience. read more

This place was disappointing on the "Grand Rebranding" weekend. It was about 1/2 full when we went in. We waited 20 minutes before anyone even brought us a menu. The poor waitress was using her own handwritten list of the beer on tap and they literally had only 4 food items to choose from (chicken bites, lumpia, flat bread or wings). We ordered the wings w/ blue cheese and decided we'd have to go somewhere else for our actual dinner. One of our pint glasses had a chip out of it. Loft 94 Beer Garden is a hidden gem, located upstairs from the Hollywood Casino. The seating layout is a mix of indoor/outdoor, with multiple large flat screen TVs mounted throughout the indoor area, showing various sports events. In the center of the restaurant is the bar, which offers 360 bar stool seating for optimum customer service. The selling point I believe, aside from the amazing staff, beer selection, and food, is the Outdoor Seating, where approximately a dozen or so high sitting tables with tall legged chairs are perfectly placed on the open aired patio deck offering a stunning view of the mountains and landscape. There are high end standing outdoor heaters for keeping warm on a cool evening, also one large traditional low table with low chairs helpful for any customers that might need wheelchair seating, so everyone can experience the fresh air scenery experience. There is a pool table available for free play, as well as elevator service for your convince. Food: you can go to Hollywood Casino online to view full menu, I have only been here two times, and have chosen the $5.00 Bites menu, choosing the Spicy Buffalo Cauliflower, the word delicious doesn't do justice to this creation, guarantee you will order again on your next visit. Also tried the Street Tacos, I had chicken, you get 2 to an order, and they are wonderful, fresh, quality ingredients and the chicken was spot on. Second visit of course had the Spicy Cauliflower and tried the Mini Sweet & Spicy Beef Empanadas 3 to an order, these were exceptional, with a light crust and flavorful generous filling. The beer on tap selection is impressive, great assortment of local brewery representation, and rotating new taps regularly. I asked for a few samples of some I had not tried, which helped my decision on trying some new beers. The Wine selection is basic, but... upon inquiring on having a larger selection, management confirmed that the upscale restaurant downstairs "Final Cut Steakhouse" in the Casino will allow you to purchase from their "by the glass" wines which offers a greater selection and can be brought back to the Loft 94. Our server also mentioned if Loft 94 servers are not too busy, they can make the run for you. Service: 5 out of 5 both visits, our first visit we had "Kendall" who was very friendly, quick service, refills in a timely manor, helpful with any questions, also communicative at all times, making sure we had a great first time experience. Second visit we had the pleasure of having "Devin", keep in mind I thought it was too good to be true having such a great first impression for an eatery. So, " Devin" came from heaven, she has such a kind and genuine personality mixed with a Louisiana sense of humor ( and a slight accent :) This girl has it all, everything you could want for an unforgettable restaurant experience, the instant ability to make you feel feel like a regular customer, an old friend or family. Her all around serving skills were at a high level, from initial introduction to helpfulness with the beer choices, and offering to ask management about having more Wine to choose from by ordering downstairs at "Final Cut Steakhouse". For your awesome service.... Thanks Devin! Last notes, there is an old school Popcorn machine located inside with fun paper popcorn bags to serve yourself fresh popped popcorn. They have trivia contests at scheduled times, which was going on at our last visit, pretty cool little event, I think they have a DJ on a weekend night? My only complaint is I was told that Loft 94 is changing its business hours! As of early August they will be closed Monday and Tuesday! That's Not cool. Went to this place for the first time based on the great yelp reviews but came out extremely disappointed. The waitress we had who had many tattoos and red hair was not friendly at all. The food was okay but nothing stood out and the "Filipino lumpia" tasted more like taquitos. At the end, we waited about 20 minutes after asking for the check. We then asked for it again when we noticed our waitress took the nearby elevator somewhere and never came back, and didn't even say anything to us to say that she was leaving. Then it was another 20 minutes because there was an issue with combining my tab with the actual food check? It's not that hard to charge for the drinks on my tab, then the food with the same card... To top off this outstanding service, there was only two other people there. This place deserves 0 stars, but I'd give it the actual 1 star because the manager was really friendly. This has become one of our favorite restaurants/bar. The view from the balcony is fabulous and they have something like 94 craft beers. I loved the charcuterie plate but it is gone from the menu.
