Loft 94 has some really solid food and a cool vibe. The bento box was great, and the short rib was delicious and really flavorful. I also tried the ramen, which was very good, and the Black Dragon roll was really tasty. The peach mint hookah was another highlight--smooth and enjoyable. Overall, I would definitely come back for the food and hookah. The only downside was that the gentleman handling the hookahs told us we had to return it exactly at 8:58 because they were closing, which felt a bit rushed and unprofessional and made the experience a little uncomfortable at the end. Aside from that moment, the food and flavors were great, and it's still a spot I'd return to.

I come to Loft 94 at Jamul Casino every now and then for the Asian fusion vibe and sushi, and we headed there recently for a little date night with my husband. The atmosphere is always fun casino energy with DJs, cocktails, and that nice view overlooking the area. We started with the appetizer of ouchi eggs (those boiled ramen-style eggs, halved, breaded, and sauced). Honestly, it was such a unique flavor--really interesting and pretty tasteful. Not terrible at all; I think I'd order them again as a fun starter. For mains, I went with the yellowtail hand roll, but unfortunately, the first one had a very weird soapy taste--like the flavors just weren't there, almost a bit rancid. I had to send it back, and they were nice about remaking it. The second one was alright, a little better, but still something felt slightly off. It just wasn't hitting the spot for me this time, so definitely not my favorite. My husband got the poke bowl, and he really enjoyed it. The salmon tasted pretty decent, fresh enough, and he said it wasn't bad at all--solid choice if you're in the mood for that. For dessert, we shared taiyaki with vanilla ice cream. The vanilla ice cream was great, can't go wrong there, but the bread part wasn't satisfying enough. It felt like it should've had some filling inside the fish shape to make it more complete--kind of hollow and underwhelming. Overall, the food this visit wasn't all that great compared to previous times we've gone. Service was fine, and they handled the roll issue without drama, but the sushi disappointment brought it down. The ouchi eggs and poke were the highlights. Might give it another shot another time since we've had better experiences before, but this round was just okay. Good for a casual casino dinner if you're already there, but not blowing me away.

This place is really beautiful, especially with all the Christmas lights, the Christmas tree and all the decor, it's giving a lowkey classy vibe. I did not try their food, as I was not hungry, but I did end up having a few beers, sake, and ordered hookah. I was pretty surprised that their hookah was only $20, it's cheaper compared to other hookah lounges so that was really nice. I just found my new spot. I will be coming here more often from now on, they also have a DJ and what's more fun was as soon as I sat on the machine, I immediately hit the big win so that paid for all my drinks and shisha. The cherry blossoms were so pretty and there was a lot of huge tv screens showing football games you can watch while enjoying your meal or smoking your hookah, hanging out! Cool place! This is a really cool Asian style fusion cuisine restaurant serving fresh sushi and birria ramen. They have amazing craft beers and yummy cocktails. The music was just right and the views are outstanding. Service was good too.

No doubt this place is beautiful, the aesthetics are stunning and the vibe is cool as hell. They have a DJ, (not sure if it's only on weekends) a pool table, serve food, ginormous TV's to watch sports on, a full size bar and the coolest thing ever, they serve hookah! Seating on the inside and option balcony seating. Casino just right below the escalator's. I really wanted to give this restaurant a 10/10 but the food is where it fell short for me. I have had their sushi in the past, which was pretty good and I heard their ramen is good too. I came in at 10:30pm, tried to order Yakitori pork ribs (which was unavailable, they stop serving it after a certain time they said) Was recommended loft fries, so I ordered that, a red dragon roll and gyudon bowl. It took about a half hour for my food, I came up and to my surprise, they didn't have my sushi roll. Apparently they stop making sushi at a certain time too. Not going to lie, I was most excited about that. Took my food home and I was very disappointed. My fries were good but didn't have much on it. A few pieces of meat that braised the top and the rest was Literally a box of fries. For $20 I would have assumed it woulda been LOADED fries, with a decent amount of protein. My gyudon, def not gyudon. It was more of a Korean bbq flavor. Meat was dry and the quality was just not appetizing, portion was small too, it was more of a snack. That ran me about $13. I felt like I wasted money, huge heartbreak! Very underwhelmed over the food and the fact that they didn't have what I wanted available. They close at midnight, so you would assume they would have everything on their menu still being served. Overall, staff is really nice, the restaurant is gorgeous and looks like the perfect spot for date night or a night out with friends. I'll give it another try, and order something else. If all fails at least there's alcohol! Lol CHEERS!

One of my favorite places to eat inside the jamul casino. Make sure you come the first two hours they open because there is a happy hour appetizers. A great place to watch the game or watch since you're up above the casino. They also have great views of the jamul Valley. I recommend: the sushi rolls, ouchi eggs, Tokyo sticky wings, and the build your own bowl.

I came here with my family, and was meet with the most perfect service and food. The food was so good, and the portions were huge for just a good price! I highly recommend coming here. I am definitely coming back here again. One thing is that we were seated right by the DJ and i couldnt hear my family talk. It was extremely loud.

Conveniently located on top of Jamul casino Asian yakitori eatery and full service bar serving small plates and noodles menu and cocktails. Nicely decorated, roomy and clean tables inside looking down the action floor or outside open air gazing at the beautiful full moon over the Jamul valley. Thee are nice heaters outside to sit by. I stopped by for a drink while waiting for a friend. Staff is warm and relax. Life is short just take it easy. Huge screens for watching sports. No smoking smell is a huge plus.

It was our first time at the casino and came in with no expectations. Located upstairs from the main gaming floor, we heard music pumping and saw a sprinkling of people dining. When the hostess asked if we wanted inside or outside (remember it's our first time here so WHAT!!?! Outside patio is an option?????) As soon as she mentioned heaters I said yes! OUTSIDE IT IS!! The DJ was JAMMIN!!! We were seated along the railing. The heaters looked like giant table lamps! I also saw that they had hookah available too (but we didn't partake). Our server was really cool (wish I had caught his name) and made some fabulous recommendations for Ramen! I loved it all! The food was really good, the music was a WHOLE vibe and the crowd was pretty laid back. Lol I Yelped it while I was sitting there to see what it looked like during the day! OMG what a view!! We will DEFINITELY be back.

The food at Loft 94 is always fresh! The pickled cabbage is one of my favorites, the sushi is packed with flavor, and the fried prawns will leave you wanting more. The custom ramen bowl is unlike any other, with endless options to make it exactly how you like. On top of the great food, the people truly make the experience. Management staff Alan and bartenders Jessenia and Brandon go above and beyond to make you feel right at home. They work together like family, and it really shows.

James the BarKeep is a Great Employee. I love coming to hang out with friends at the Loft every weekend!! Hector and Kailee are incredibly friendly and so welcoming! They always say to let them know if we need anything, but the service and food is so great so never have had any issues. The meat is grilled perfectly and the appetizers are perfect to share with a group!! Love it and will keep coming back!!! read more

Went to the Hollywood Casino with some friends who were in town from Wyoming. I had only been to the Casino once before but we didn't get a chance to see Loft 94. I'm sure glad we went up there that night. Loft 94 is a pretty cool place. There was lots of seating, great TV's to watch the Olympics, and a pool table. The food was pretty good. A decent menu that was quite tasty. While my friends played pool I hung out at the bar with Mike Dole, the ever friendly and sarcastic bartender who made great drinks and made me laugh the whole night. It was pretty cold and rainy the night we were there but Mike said we could take a look at the view outside and it was awesome. Can't wait to go back during better weather and enjoy drinks and food out on the patio. We'll definitely be back. read more

I've been here 3 times and have not been disappointed. The staff here is extremely friendly. Shoutout to Hector and the staff. The ramen - Ronin is my go to. Taking a break from gambling and went to the loft 94 new concept of Asia food. The view is spectacular and Christian the outdoor chef made the best chicken skewers I have ever had. My fiance wished there was a bit more selection but was happy with the ramen. Everyone was nice and welcoming. Amber wad fast and helpful and Hector was extremely inviting. read more

The sushi was horrible my brother actually spit both of his sushi rolls out because they tasted like they had gone bad. Music was blasting so you couldn't hear anything. Bradley has made ever single dining experience enjoyable! He has been our server the last 4-5 times we have gone and every time we have a smile on our faces from start to finish. This is a really good place. Great views, awesome food, and good music. My favorites are the sticky wings, lobster roll (with rice), and the short rib. Shout out to Taylor who provided great service on our recent visit. I have a couple suggestions for management. Why are you not open on Sundays? Also, a better selection of beers would be nice. I suggest a good Amber or two. Plenty of IPAs here. read more

When the chief, comes out and says she can prepare a special empanada for you that means you wait! As soon as I seen the escalator, a dramatic entrance lol. I knew loft 94 was a spot for me. Reaching the top of the escalator you immediately see the amazing view for the Jamul Mountains. At Loft94 you have an option to sit on the outdoor patio amongst heat lamps and the great outdoors, or inside amongst the bar, pool table and super large tv screen that goes wall to wall! Talk about the prefect super bowl party or girls/guys night out for drinks or beer loft94 has plenty of seating throughout. I ordered small bites $5.00 garlic fries. Upon arrival I was a little shocked as I thought I was going to receive something different, actual pieces of garlic and parm. What I received was fries with garlic oil and a little salt, Still great just not my norm. I also ordered chicken empanadas but for some reason the waiter say's they are no longer on the menu, yikes! Ok now I am stuck I have no idea what to order. So I ask him to come back, two seconds later the chief comes out says hi hon, I am going to make you something special it will be the empanadas are you willing to wait for them, I say yes I am willing to wait, thank you so much for the personal touch! Points for loft94! My fries comes out, my drinks come out the bill comes out no empanadas so I ask what happen to the empanadas lol and the waiter goes I am so sorry let me check, he brought them out and they were prefect!! Thank you chief!! They almost forgot, but that's ok the personal touch out weights it all. This time. Three stars only because I didnt try dinner items. I will update upon my next visit read more

Awesome place to go and enjoy great food and a beer. I have been here 6 times. On my last visit I orderEd food for take out. I was a little disappointed when I got home and my order was not complete. I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager. He quickly apologized and promised to make it right on my next visit. On our next visit I spoke with the manger and he remembered our conversation, he quickly found us a table and introduced us to Shannon. Shannon took our order and made sure it was correct. Shannon Took care of us, Shannon is an awesome host and made our experience a pleasurable one. We will definitely be back. I also would like to mentioned Taylor the bar tender even though she didn't tend to on this visit. I would like to say she is as awesome as Shannon and really knows her beers. Loft 94 is our spot and my husband and I plan to make this trip more frequent. We looove the ambiance! Food is yummmy...top it off price and quality is right. Shannon our server was outstanding! As always we had a awesome meal I had the bento box delicious Deanna I think her name was was server did great job super kind as always Mike came over to see us and is always super nice and really makes us feel like we're the most important people there and it really made us feel like we were VIP the way I was treated by both Mike and Deanna this how it should be in any restaurant I'd never seen Diana so I know she's new but for being a newer employee she acted like a veteran every time I come in we do make sure we look for Mike just to see how he's doing as always we always ask us making sure that he goes out of his way to see us today he was actually busting a table not done yet and you stopped what he was doing as I said to come see us but the same way always in these reviews I'll be back just because they were awesome read more

We had an amazing time at Loft. We forgot we were even in a casino!! Our server, Deven, was so great! Our food was delicious and the chef, Abel, even took the time to come and talk to us about our meal. They're a close group up there, which creates a fun environment!! The manager Jill was welcoming and seemed very invested in making sure the team was taken care of. Grabbed late night grub at Jamul Casino up at Loft 94. Enjoyed gyoza, tempura and sticky sweet hot wings. All really satisfying and good, but what gives this place 5 Stars is Shannon the server who was totally attentive, explained each item, and knew I was thirsty so she purposely brought 2 iced teas and a water right from the get go. First I just want to say that I love this place. Everyone is so polite and very professional. The food is amazing. My experience with Shanon and Rachel has always been great and has kept me coming back. My only complaint is that the hours that they open is too late in the afternoon. I only wish they would open earlier especially on the weekend. For this reason I'm not able to come here as often as I would like but I am hoping that in the near future they will have more extended hours. Keep up the good work everyone. read more

Outstanding Service & Atmosphere at Loft 94! We had an incredible experience at Loft 94 inside Jamul Casino, and it was all thanks to the amazing team of Haylie, Kasey, Allan, and Collin. From the moment we arrived, Kasey greeted us with a warm smile and a welcoming laugh. She initially seated us at a table, but when we mentioned it was a bit too close to the noise, she gladly and graciously relocated us without hesitation. She made sure we had fresh menus and everything we needed, setting the tone for an enjoyable evening. Haylie was our server, and she absolutely shined. Her upbeat energy, constant attentiveness, and genuine smile made the entire experience feel personal. She was always on the move but never missed a beat when it came to checking in on us. Her service was top-notch and full of heart. When Haylie stepped away for a well-deserved break, Collin stepped in seamlessly to continue the same level of attentive care. He has a genuinely caring attitude and took the time to connect with us beyond just service -- asking thoughtful questions and ensuring we felt seen and appreciated. His smooth transition from Haylie's service made it feel as though nothing changed at all, and we were in excellent hands the entire time. And then there's Allan, the floor manager, who clearly leads by example. This wasn't my first visit to loft 94...I visited a while ago (around October 2022) and had a horrible experience...my server took forever to great us. She was either grumpy or just hated her job because she barely checked on us and the food took forever! I was really never going to come back. BUT!! My friend invited me to jamul casino and a little slots sounded fun so off we went. While we were there my friend told me about her favorite place to eat and mentioned loft 94. I told her there's no way I'm eating there again. She assured me that it was great and maybe I had a one off experience last time so I begrudgingly agreed to go. From the moment we arrived at the top of the escalator until the moment we departed...everything was fabulous! Our server was Lele and she was so sweet! She checked on us multiple times and made sure everything was good. She is really a cream of the crop server! I will request her when i come back. The manager melli was walking around and checking on tables and when she checked in on our table I told her all about the past experience and also told her how great this experience was. It's like night and day. (a good manager makes all the difference- don't lose her, she's a gem and really seems like she cares about loft.) The food...chefs kiss! It was delicious. We shared the chicken caragee and I ordered some noodles-i cant remember what they were called but it was like ramen but no soup. Everything came out hot and delicious...i will admit that the food took a little longer than i would normally hope, but it was a busy Friday night, so it's also sort of expected Let me just say everything was amazing and i am so glad i agreed to come back. We had a little bit of a frustrating situation this evening. We came to take advantage of the midweek 50% off menu. There is a great selection of items and we started with sushi. I'm not a fan of spice so I asked Caylie if they could make the spicy tuna roll without the spice. I said I'd order something else if it couldn't be done. The whole time we were looking at the discounted menu. Our sushi order came and they were able to do the tuna roll without the spice. It was delicious. We then got our eamen and we loved it. Then the bill came and my "not spicy" tuna roll was $15.95 instead of the $5.95 price for the spicy tuna. What the heck? Caylie knew we were ordering off the discounted menu. Why didn't she come back to me and tell me they could do a non spicy version but it would be more expensive. I would never have paid $15.95. Not cool Caylie. I feel she was trying to increase the bill so she would get a bigger tip. What happened to good customer service? She didn't even apologize for her lack of communication. I was very frustrated. As a 5 year patron of the LOFT 94, yes my crew has been regular patrons since its inception, I can proudly commit to this review. The new management implemented prior to the new year has significantly improved the dynamics. All the staff members are fully supportive of all guest needs and will accommodate any requests within reason. I must give credit to the recent hire by Jamul Casino with the implementation of F&B Manager Mr. Vu who has brought nothing but positive energy and a professional touch that was genuinely needed. Mr. Vu's management provides a "Need not to worry" experience with any server because Shannon, Rachel, Angelina and others are always attentive. And lastly, I always to try to remember the chef's but it can be left unsaid because of the GREAT time you're having at the LOFT. I recently dined at Loft 94 in Jamul and had a delightful experience. The service and atmosphere were top-notch. We were seated outdoors, where we enjoyed a beautiful view, adding to the overall ambiance. We started with the seaweed salad and sweet chili edamame, both of which were fantastic. My cousin had some specific requests for her sushi, wanting it cucumber-wrapped with no rice, and the staff were able to accommodate her perfectly. I ordered two sushi rolls. While they were tasty, I felt the presentation could have been better, and the rolls could have used a bit more flavor or toppings to enhance them. Despite this, I am keen to return to try more of their menu offerings, especially the teppanyaki and ramen. Overall, Loft 94 is a great spot with excellent service and a wonderful atmosphere. Our waitress Shannon was so friendly and even went out of her way to make sure the kitchen could still serve me something even though it was right after the cut off time for food. She was so nice and made my night with getting me that amazing bowl of Ramen and Chicken Katsu I'm not one to leave reviews very often but Shannon's customer service was on point! The LOFT 94 just became the elite casual dining and lounge experience in East County. With views of the rolling hills, gas latern heaters, comfortable seating is just the basics. The greatness is in the new menu, staff members and sports bar experience. Take a look at the new menu and some of the offerings provided.
