I'll post more since my husband also communicated with her. As of today, she has responded to my review and non of our texts requesting for a refund for her failure to keep her end of our agreement. Lisa, these aren't feelings they're facts. Facts that prove your unprofessionalism to take accountability for your actions that created unsatisfied experience for a customers. I found her on superproof app. Lisa had her website listed so I went to check it out and she immediately pinged me on it. She was very friendly. She asked me to pay upfront for all 3 classes including the travel fees. Even though, she was insisting, I said I was willing to pay for 1 class first and go from there. She agreed to it. She said her cashapp is having issues but asked me to send it to her son's Zelle account. I did hesitate it at the beginning but thought who would want to risk their business to scam someone for one class fee. Well I guess, someone like Lisa would. I decided to pay and book her. I sent her son the money as requested. I even sent her $1 first to test if its the right account and sent her the rest. On the day of the lesson, I texted her to confirm and then she said you have to pay in full to book her. I said I paid in full for 1 class so why not do that class first. I provided my phone number to her for future communication but she still was sending me messages via her website which I don't get notifications for, so I missed the message she sent asking me for full payment. On the day of the class, when it was clear to me that she won't be coming anymore, I asked her to refund and she agreed to it. However, it's been over 3 weeks and no refund and she won't answer my calls nor text. Her son's Zelle account is also disconnected. SO BEWARE and STAY AWAY! I have screenshots of her text messages saying she will refund and me following up multiple times.

Granted, it was her first time doing ISR, but she was not my cup of tea. When you are working with babies and children, I feel like you should have a kind way about you... you should ENJOY working with children or you shouldn't be doing so. When working with my son, she became easily frustrated and it was plainly evident. It was evident to my (at the time) 10 month old, as well. It affected his entire experience and outcome. The thing that REALLY rubbed me the wrong way was the fact that when I turned on my camera to video my son floating, she became sweet as pie. Her whole demeanor changed; the frustration left her face, the tone of her voice changed, she played with him, did "look at the bubbles!", etc. completely fake. And then as soon as my phone went down, she reverted back to the cold, uncaring person she was before. Harsh review, I know, but it's the truth. I would not take my children back and would strongly advise friends and family to seek lessons elsewhere.

We found Shelby White after months of searching for infant swim instructors. Being a first-time…read moremom, I really didn't know what I was looking for, but did know I wanted to enroll my son in some type of water safety classes. Although we don't have a pool at home, we have relatives with pools and we love to take the kayaks out on the water. Now that my son was walking, I wanted to make sure I took the necessary precautions before subjecting my son to a potentially dangerous situation. Long story short, we came across Delta Babies and I contacted Shelby to see what options we had. She responded right away and offered her available spots for the next season. We were provided a ton of information on the ISR program and the benefits it has and signed our son up right away. I was thankful she was able to fit us in, on such short notice (her schedule fills up quick)! For the first few weeks, my son cried the entire time, which I guess is normal for some kids. After about week 3, he was actually practicing his floats and rotations in the tub on his own. I love that Shelby will work with kids that need additonal time at no charge! Our son finished the float course and we have him enrolled in the next course which starts in a few weeks. I've asked him if he wants to go swim with Shelby again and he now says "Yah, Sha-Bee". I honestly have nothing bad to say about Shelby. She is an amazing instructor, very outgoing, and is great with kids. I'm so glad we found her!

The facility is nice--a big pool, ample chair & bench seating for observing, 2 restrooms, spacious changing rooms, a play area with some simple items, vending machine, & a hair dryer for use. Music plays in the background. Communication was facilitated through email, phone, text, & in-person availability. We always found staff helpful. They also had a box for comments & praise for staff. Our kiddo did 2 sessions with 2 designated instructors. However, she ended up working with 3 other substitutes several times as well. You are given advance notice, & luckily our kiddo would go with the flow, but some kids might have a harder time if they need more trust & consistency. We generally found the instructors to be encouraging & positive. There's a fine line between pushing too hard or not enough, & they seemed to try to find that sweet spot. Little one would get pep talks when needed. She enjoyed the bit of free play at the end of the session as a reward for her efforts. We appreciated the post-class progress checks from the instructors. A ribbon system created positive incentive & moments of pride when earned. It's notable that other dynamics will impact your experience. It was really nice when we had a time that wasn't too busy compared to another time that was quite crowded. Though signs are in the play area regarding supervision & playing nicely with items, I still observed poor behavior & lack of supervision. Also, waiting for the dressing rooms was disorganized. Though a pseudo-line would form, some people opportunistically jumped in ahead. In hindsight, it would be helpful for staff to remind & emphasize some parent behavior expectations & create a system for lining up for the dressing rooms.

Even during COVID, it felt overwhelming, and progress was slow. Then we switched to ASA Livermore, where, unfortunately, a teacher once pushed him into the pool despite his discomfort with water in his eyes. That experience really set him back, and we paused swimming altogether in 2023. Fast forward to 2025, we gave All Star a try. It's only been 1.5 months, and the transformation is incredible. Not only does he love the water, but he looks forward to every class. He's already jumping in, kicking, floating, and taking risk, all in just 15-minute sessions! It's definitely pricey, but the progress has made it absolutely worth it. Camille has also been wonderful... so warm, accommodating, and great with kids. The whole environment here feels positive and welcoming. We're really grateful we made the switch.
