After order and delivery of a lift chair for my dad, who is a resident at Brookdale in Lodi, we found out that Brookdale assembled the chair but would not remove the old chair as had been promised. The Lazyboy was left in the middle of his one room apartment. As I was currently out of state, I had to scramble to make arrangements remotely. My first and only call was to Lodi Hauling. I spoke with Dawson, who was at lunch, but was friendly and helpful. He said they could pick it up today, which was exactly what I wanted and what dad needed. My call to Lodi Hauling was at around 2:40. The chair was picked up and removed before 3:20, when I received a text and sent a Zelle payment. Gavin and Dawson arrived at my old home about 0720 am. They asked what the job was- a storage haul,a move haul and a dump haul. The storage haul was done first- took about just over an hour to load and move. Then the home move took a bit longer to load. Gavin said they usually work through lunch- we all had lunch,and I paid for theirs after the new place was loaded up with furniture and boxes(that I am still sorting through 11 days later). After lunch was the dump run. They arrived at my old home about 1330 pm and loaded their trailer with stuff as well as a portion of the truck. They left about 1545- still to complete the dump run.
