I started trimming bushes and trees in my backyard and one thing led to another. At the end of 2 days, I was overwhelmed and trying to figure out how I was going to get rid of everything. I called Got That Junkk and Erica asked if I could send pictures for an estimate. I did, but I declined because I couldn't afford it. Within 15 minutes the owner DJ called and asked if he could stop by in an hour to give me an estimate. I appreciated that he took the time to stop by. I originally requested an estimate from a few companies via yelp. Got That Junkk, replied right away. I had a couple of competitive offers; however, most stop responding, so I decided to go with this company. DJ, contacted me via text. He was very cordial and professional. We confirmed his original quote and setup an appointment. He showed up on time. I have no complaints on their professionalism. After looking at my 2 piles, (1 of home goods and 1 green waste), he stated it would be $295 instead of the original quote of $245. I figured, oh well, he's here already and didn't want to waste both of our times so I said ok. To my surprise, turns out he needed to do 2 trips and each trip would be $295. I simply couldn't understand how a $245 quote, turned into a $600 fee!!! So I decided to simple have them take just one pile. It only took about an hour for the 1 load. He's truck seemed fairly smaller than other companies. To avoid misunderstandings, I think he could have simply said his fee was $295 per truck load. That would have definitely helped me make a better choice of doing the work myself. Overall, I do recommend this company; however, make sure you cover all your bases first. I blame myself on this one but take it as a learning experience. read more
