Great deals going on now at Uber Eats. Buy one get one free on so many items. Lobster rolls, crab cakes, seafood, etc... Tried the lobster roll. Absolutely delicious. Buttered and toasted potato bun. Fresh lobster meat covered in spices and mayo. Some people might say its too a bit much mayo. But its tasted pretty good. I'm good with it. A nice sized portion of lobster. Choice of having the meat heated or just cold. Comes with a side of cole slaw or fries. Tried the cole slaw, two different times. First time was good, second time tasted too sour. There are interesting flavors of pizza here, like curry shrimp pizza, and oxtail pizza, which I found most interesting. Other pizza flavors are buffalo chicken, salmon , jerk chicken and more. Seating. None. No tables either. This is a strictly takeout place. Only con is that if you order through Uber and come in to pick it up, they prefer you to wait outside and pick it up from the takeout window. Which is pretty discouraging when it's super cold outside. Worthy of a visit if you can get all the way out here, particularly because of the buy1 get 1free deals. Get it while it lasts!

Loco Lobster, which replaces Cecilia's Pizzeria, is a pizzeria and seafood restaurant. This corner restaurant is geared towards take-out. Most of the space is occupied by the kitchen; there is no customer seating. We were curious how Loco Lobster, with its original location in East Moriches, ended up in Flatlands, Brooklyn. It turns out that Loco Lobster is owned by the same team that runs Bed-Stuy Fish Fry next door. Dishes we've tried: - Oxtail Pizza: $10 per slice; $10.89 with tax. Very good. The oxtail was lean, the pizza wasn't too greasy and wasn't burnt on the bottom. - Lobster Roll: $25; $27.22 with tax. Very good. The lobster was fresh and a good-sized (maybe 6 oz) serving, the bun was lightly toasted, the mayonnaise was slightly heavy-handed. An equivalent sandwich from Luke's Lobsters is more delicate, but also much more expensive. I thought Loco Lobster nailed the accompanying coleslaw. - Seafood Garlic Noodles: $32; $34.84 with tax. Includes a baked lobster tail, three seared scallops, and six shrimp on a bed of lo-mein noodles. The seafood was fresh, but I didn't like the dish's flavor profile, which seemed to use some sort of hoisin / oyster sauce combination. The sauce overpowered the light flavors of the seafood and garlic, and over-salted the dish. Loco Lobster was running an UberEats buy-one-get-one promotion at the time of our visit; you'll get good food at a great price with good service if you're able to take advantage of this deal. While the inconsistent reviews of Loco Lobster's original location and the restaurant next door are concerning, I would return to this location of Loco Lobster to try other items.

The correct location is 1140 Utica Ave, Brooklyn, NY, the day we went it was at a designated pickup locker where your food is stored. This confusion added an extra 30 minutes to my trip. Wait Time & Ordering Experience The kiosk estimated a wait time of 6-16 minutes, but we ended up waiting around 40 minutes for our order. That was upsetting. What We Ordered Mains: Fried Chicken, Honey Glazed Salmon, Catfish Sides: Blueberry Cornbread, Candied Coconut Yams, Mac & Cheese Food Quality Catfish: Easily the standout of the meal. Perfectly cooked, an easy 10/10. Fried Chicken: A major letdown. It was dry and under-seasoned, tasting mostly of salt. Honey Glazed Salmon: Unfortunately, there was no noticeable glaze and the fish was also dry. Sides Candied Coconut Yams & Mac and Cheese: Both were delicious and classic comfort food done right. Blueberry Cornbread: Tasted more like a blueberry muffin. While not bad on its own, it didn't complement the savory items well. Value & Final Thoughts Combo platters (1 main + 2 sides) run about $20-$24. For that price and the long wait time (40-45 minutes), I expected a bit more consistency. The catfish and sides were worth the trip, but the other mains left much to be desired. Pros: Halal soul food is a great concept and rare to find. Cons: The chicken and salmon. Would I return? Possibly for the catfish. But considering catfish is halal almost anywhere, and the other mains didn't deliver. Wonderful concept!

Well thank god my heart has softened and I have a nasty addiction to seafood, anywhoo On my return one solo date day. I met the most amazing human being, a bartender turned manager Top gyal Mariekaa. She changed my perspective and it's been my go to seafood boils ever sense. It's convenient and always a key 10/10 recommend. I love the low key atmosphere and then the high energy of the weekend with live dj .

We got seated right away as it wasn't crowded on a Friday night. Our waiter Mike was cool as he proceeded to take our order. For our staters we got the crab bites and garlic bread sticks which were both ok. The bread wasn't the softest. And the crab bites in her words was like an imitation fish cake. We then both got the Cajun Shrimp Alfredo Pasta which was the best dish of the night. Our drinks both were EXTREMELY weak it was like drinking juice and for a non drinker like myself that says a lot lol. I got the Henny Colada and she being a Bajan ordered the Bajan Rum Punch which looked NOTHING like rum punch as it came out looking more like a Long Island ice tea. She even ended up ordering an extra shot to help it out. All in all I would come back for the vibes and a different drink of course. Happy eating :)

There was no time like the present to finally give it a try. We made a reservation, and I'm glad we did because the restaurant is on the smaller, cozy side. I would definitely recommend making a reservation, especially on the weekends. They also have happy hour from 5-7 p.m., so we ordered drinks and oysters. The oysters were good, and so were the drinks. I tried the Kid Creole, which is made with Barbancourt, sherry, lime, guava, and simple syrup, and it was delicious. For our appetizers, I had the Summer Crab & Corn Chowder, and it was very good--creamy and well-balanced. My friend had the Fried Green Tomatoes and enjoyed them as well. For our entrée, we both ordered the pan-seared snapper with three-cheese stone-ground grits, truffle oil, and a charred pepper and onion medley. The fish was well-seasoned, and the grits were excellent. I'm not usually a fan of grits unless they have cheese, and these definitely didn't disappoint. For dessert, I had the ice cream, while my friend ordered the bread pudding. The bread pudding was a bit tough and wasn't served warm, as it typically is. However, they corrected the issue, which we both appreciated. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back to try other dishes. I especially appreciated the friendly welcome when we arrived and the excellent customer service throughout our visit.
