The respective cylinders are not the same and normally not interchangeable. That said, Chris took the time to review various approaches others had tried and a video showing the internals of our new lock, within minutes found a part he had that might work, and agreed to come out see if it could be done. In the end the cylinder that he had was a very near match but required a modification which he made on site. The lock now functions perfectly as before but can be opened with our existing house keys. He even made us some extra KW keys while he was here. If the electronic lock ever has an unexpected battery outage, we can open it with our house key, no need to carry a separate key around, which is what we wanted. Super knowledgeable, super nice guy. Highly recommended.

That call never came. I understand that small businesses get busy. What's not acceptable is telling a customer multiple times that you'll follow up and then not doing so. Clear communication is basic customer service. Before posting this, I took a moment to read other reviews, and it appears there may be a pattern of similar complaints about follow-ups and communication. That's concerning because reliability and responsiveness are critical when you're calling a locksmith. I'm sharing this so others can make informed decisions.
