Just an update to my review July 16 about your maniac driver reading some of these reviews they say Responded very quickly yeah I can see why because they drive like total idiots out here I was on the 95 heading towards downtown and there's a lot of traffic as it is and this dude was swerving in and out of traffic really jeopardizing peoples lives the way he drove but I guess that's more in Porten than being safe and then on top of it has the company name on the vehicle that's a real good way to represent your company employee idiots that are unsafe drivers read more

I have a 50 year old car in the process of getting back on the road. Ignition key hasn't been seen in a decade. I removed the ignition lock from the vehicle and took it to Lockmaster based on positive local reviews and they were close by. Eric Verner kept the lock overnight due to a need to disassemble it, thanks to its age AND the fact that it was not original to the car. His investigatory sleuthing paid off, and he was able to clean up the mechanism while generating two keys for it. The price was extremely fair, as my only other option would be to order a new lock and/or get the entire vehicle re-keyed. Terrible business ethics!....Do not use this guy! Brought a new car key fob, which I purchased on eBay, to this place to be programmed. Not only were they not able to program the new fob, but they somehow managed to disable my original fob, leaving my vehicle dead and causing me to have to tow my car to the dealer. He tried to say the issue was caused by the fob from eBay. The dealer reprogrammed my original fob AND programmed my new fob as well, without any issues. Now the store owner is refusing to reimburse me the $75 tow fee...amazing!! You mess up my car and won't take responsibility?? You ALWAYS stand behind your work AND take responsibility for your actions!! Steer clear of this bozo!! read more

This place is a hidden gem. I called yesterday and spoke with Eric regarding getting a re-key for a 2009 Nissan Sentra key with a chip. Eric quoted $85 immediately, while other places quoted $100+ (Btw, the dealership of Planet Nissan had the nerve to quote $55 for the key and $135 for programming the key). I told Eric that we will come by the next day, which we did. As soon as I came in, Eric remembered his quote and was very professional about his job. He got the keys duplicated and programmed in less than 30 minutes. Overall, I recommend this place to anyone that it is looking for a good locksmith. read more

They have several times helped me out on issues pertaining getting new keys for an apartment or changing the battery in my car key phob. I lost my keys and couldn't get into my bike bag. They opened my bag and hand made a key. They were not satisfied with the key they made but I was happy that it worked. Great service and prices. Moved from Florida to Las Vegas and forgot where I put my keys to safe. They opened and made me keys, great price.

Called towards the close of business one day to get a quote on a vehicle key cut. I only need the metal part cut as I already had the key fob part programmed etc. I wish I would have obtained names because that would have helped me in the moment as well as for this review. Anyways, the quote I received was reasonable and they told me to come back the next day as they were getting ready to close up shop. I said, "okay, no problem." I went there the next day in the morning soon after they opened up and a gentleman with reddish hair asks how he can help me. I told him I had received a quote the day before to have my vehicle key cut. He looked at me like I was crazy and told me that they wouldn't do it for that price. He quoted me a price at least $25 more than the quote from the day before. I even explained that I wouldn't need my key programmed, that I just needed it cut, etc. but to no avail. It was a total waste of time, which is exactly what I told Mr. red hair. If you're reading this, I wouldn't wast my time with these guys. Would definitely move on to another reasonable company that stands by their quotes. read more

The first time I used Lockmaster, they made a key for my car. The dealership wanted close to 500.00 dollars. Lockmaster charged me 150.00 dollars. If you need a chipped key for your vehicle. No question Lockmaster. There service was very professional. Now that im in the market for a keyless entry system. There helping me with that. They beat other quotes I got and I'm under budget. Never even try to call these guy to home. They rip off on charges such as Trip Charge $65 and labor charges close to $55 and rekey charges. When I called and asked the owner of the company that for 8 mile trip the charge of $65 is exorbitant. The reply is we are like that. His response is that he does not care about customers at all.
