But it was well worth it. There were two gate keys- one for the front and one for the back side gate, there was a key to the Pool, a key to the Clubhouse/Gym, there was a key to the camera office inside the Clubhouse, there was a key to the closet inside the Clubhouse, there was a key to the main fire riser room inside the Clubhouse, there was a key to the Pool Pump room, and, finally, there was a key for each fire riser room, which is inside each and every building inside the gated townhome community. So, this was a lot of keys for us to keep track of! Now, the process for us residents is easy. There is one key for Owners or tenants. There is one key for Board Members. Very simple. I love it. We were buying a house and juggling a million things, including coordinating a locksmith to come after closing. I sent out a request for quotes on Yelp and Silverstate was the first to respond. Our new place has many doors and I miscounted the number of locks several times in asking for the quotes but Ezra was patient in his responses. We decided to go with Silverstate (their pricing was very competitive) and they sent out Mark, who was on time and friendly. I mistakenly handed Mark the entire set of keys to all the doors to the house even though I did not have him change out one of the locks, as we were installing our own electronic lock on one. While Mark was changing out the locks, I went to run an errand and had asked my husband to get the key from Mark before he left. When I came home, Mark was gone and my husband told me he had forgotten to ask for the key. I called Silverstate and explained that we needed the key. They were great, and said that they would send Mark back, and that if he did not have the key, would make us another without charge. Mike came over very quickly but unfortunately the replacement key I had purchased wouldn't program to my car for 2 hours, so I had them order a key and come back the following week. I was very clear on what I needed done. I later found out they subcontracted the work order. The subcontractor called said the work would be higher and fee for credit card payment. I informed Silverstate Locksmith, they said repeated their price and no CC fee. The subcontractor finally settled on the original price but still CC fee. I messaged SL about it and it shows read but no more responses. I explained to the subcontractor what happened while they worked. Thinking they're finished they packed up and asked for payment. We needed a locksmith in sort of a pinch. My brother in law accidentally locked his keys in the trunk and they were visiting from out of town.
