Unfortunately, NV Locksmith was the second locksmith I called for a rekeying project at my business. The first locksmith was only able to rekey two out of the four doors I had requested. Worse, while attempting to work on the third door, he broke a bolt inside the lock and damaged the internal mechanism. After four and a half hours of frustration, he gave up and still overcharged me--leaving me with a door that wouldn't lock and a bigger problem than I started with. That's when NV Locksmith--and specifically Soloman--came to the rescue. Soloman scheduled a visit promptly, arrived on time, and thoroughly inspected the broken lock. Within 30 minutes, he had assessed the damage and fixed what the previous locksmith had broken. His professionalism, efficiency, and expertise were evident from the moment he started. Do you really offer military discount and support the military community? While the service was great and the technician completed the job as expected, what lost a star from the rating is the military discount. The advertised discount is on their website and even on their yelp listing. When the technician called me to give me a quote, I asked for the military discount and he said they do not offer any military discount. I mentioned it is on their yelp listing that they do, he replied, "Oh it is, let me check." He then said the discount is only applicable towards getting a replacement key made. I was scheduling the service towards reprogramming an auto key. Even though military discounts usually are only a 5-10% savings, it's a savings nonetheless. If the technician was right about the discount being applied only to key replacements, you should state that on your website and yelp. If the technician was wrong, then looks like the company needs some remedial training. From one veteran to another: good intentions, poor execution. read more

Called for re-key the day before; arrived on schedule. The technician - Moe was courteous, knowledgeable and finished the job in about 15 min. The locks were old, the deadbolt hard to turn or would get stuck from time to time. After explaining this Moe. This company is amazing! I was looking for a solution for our children's bathroom, they have a jack and Jill bathroom and the bathroom can lock while in the bathroom however there is no way to lock the bedroom. I purchased a deadbolt for both doors. I emailed NV locksmith and they called me within 15 minutes and told me they could get someone to come out that night . I couldn't believe they did same day service especially evenings on something that was not an emergency.
