They were friendly & professional. They were able to duplicate all my keys, including ones that no one else would cut. They also cut my vehicle transponder chip blank key. Other locksmiths wouldn't cut my blank or wanted me to purchase whatever keys they were selling. In addition, they were able to duplicate my toy hauler key. No one else in the NW was able to duplicate that key or cut my blank Toyota transponder key. He lubricated all my door lock cylinders & the ignition to insure my new keys worked smoothly. I needed a simple key duplication. Simple in that I only had the teeth. I asked numerous key duplication and locksmith services here on Yelp and got lots of responses that said they couldn't or wouldn't do it. I try Walmart, Home Depot, and Lowe's, but they have all gone to those do it yourself or simple machines that would swallow my teeth and not produce a key. Recently I contacted them again to install a deadbolt on two different interior doors. Within minutes my phone blew up from people I did not contact or want. I have a bedside gun safe that I was locked out of, the battery was dead and its located inside the safe, the key was probably tossed years ago so I had no way to get in. I couldn't locate any explosives to blast like I've seen on many Three Stooges episodes so I looked up this locksmith on Yelp and stopped in. Literally 2 minutes to get inside and another 3 minutes to make another key for me. Total cost...$30! My other option was drilling and possibly damaging the handgun inside ($1000 Sig Blackwater) then spending another $150 on a new safe. These guys know their business. One thing I realized being in the shop while I waited is why do I get all my locks and my keys made at big box hardware stores? I heard him make comments about my body and call me a bitch for absolutely no reason. I know I'm a heavier set woman but I think it's ridiculous that he believed that to be ok. When you need a special key made you can't go to the big box stores. You have to find a real locksmith shop. These guys are the ones to turn too. From out of town and found them on Yelp. Had 1 car key made and three different ones for an rv. All were cut while I waited and more importantly worked when I got home. Don't waste your time here if you own a modern vehicle. They don't understand the programming process on newer cars. On top of that, the customer service is terrible. I had called in advance and asked if they could make a key and fob for my car, they told me it would take 20 minutes. During the 45 minutes that I waited for them to attempt to program a key and fob, it became increasingly apparent they had no idea what they were doing. They kept going into the back of the store and looking up solutions on the internet. They didn't say a word to me the entire time they were working, and they didn't respond when I asked them if they had the software that is required to program a new fob for my vehicle. Had they been friendly and just explained they were having a hard time, I wouldn't be bothered at all. But customer service is a foreign concept to them, and their lack of professionalism warrants a bad review. When they finally gave up, they had the audacity to tell me they couldn't get the fob working so they'd just give me the key and charge me full price. I asked again if they had the software needed for programming, and this time he told me he didn't know what it was. I explained that I didn't come for just a key, and I didn't want to purchase it since I'd have to go to another store to get the fob separately. In all likelihood the next store would give me a better deal if I bought the key and fob together. The moron behind the desk smirked and asked why the next place would give me a better deal on if I bought both there... perhaps for the same reason his store offered me a discount if I purchased a key and fob together. When I told him I wouldn't be buying just a key, he said okay, threw it in the trash and walked to the back of the store without another word. No explanation, no apology, no thank you, not even a goodbye. It's pathetic that this is their profession and I have a better understanding of it then they do. This is an unfortunate review to make. I believe that Yelp has to tell the good and the bad equally. I manage multiple apartments and am always having keys made. I use multiple locksmiths but this one is the closest to a cluster of my apartments. Today I went in to have keys made and there was an honest mistake made by an employee. He had cut the keys on the wrong blank. Never before had such a thing been a big deal but the owner wanted me to pay for the mistake. He seemed to understand that there was an innocent mistake made by his employee, but he still wanted me to pay for it. I will taking my business to a more reasonable company from now on. We had called in the keys since they are ones he had rekeyed before and they were ready when I arrived. Also while I s there I notice they can make transponder keys, since I have recently paid a dealer to make me a new key at an exorbitant price I figured it could just to have a back up. He gave me a very fair price (around $160) and it was finished in about 15 min. Easy peasy. I'm not sure what happened with those other reviews, but my experience was very good. I called this shop because I work in the same complex as them and have used them over the years. I went to work at a second job and needed keys to a limo. They qouted.me $195 to rekey and program a 2 keys. The price was to include making and rechipping two keys and the service call. By the time the tech Joshua arrived, the keys were already found but we had him copy the key and make a valet key. He still charged the full price. I went down to the shop and five techs stood around dumb founded as I went off as to how furious I was that he didn't even have to rekey the ignition since we found the key and only copied and provided us with one chipped key and a slug key for $195. They had the nerve to tell me that was a discount and the second key was a courtesy only. I told them Liberty is far less than them and was dissapointed they did only part of the job and still charged full price as qouted. They told me they would make me a key as long as I brought the limo to them as they needed the car there to reprogram the key. I called them out on a service call and would expect they come back out to finish the job they didn't finish since they won't refund anything. But of course they wont. They were not apologetic and customer service really sucked. Like the previous reviewer said. This place reeks of cigarettes. Who smokes inside a place of business nowdays? I will NOT use them again. Kinda scary how they were able to cut and program me a new key that bypassed the built in 'immobilizer' security system in my car but for 40 bucks it was a better deal then taking it to the Acura dealer and paying an assload. Also had them program me a remote that cost 40 bucks. Went to this place and requested a better, more pick-resistant lock. They rekeyed 2 lock cylinders with spool pins and made a better , more pick resistant key profile.
