Car Key Solution - Looks just like the OEM VW remote!! Very Happy! - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me

I am so happy. Thank you David for being so efficient and getting it done in 10 minutes. Had my key FOB done at another company. They couldn't make it work, so had to order another FOB and wait another week for it. Came home, shut the car off , then it didn't start. I was upset that I was not able to get service until next business day. And told me to tow to shop which would have been more expense for me. Then I Yelped David and he came out same day and got it done in 10 minutes at a much affordable price. Everything works perfect and he was great. Thank you for saving me time and money David. Highly recommend. read more

To begin with how I narrowed my call for help to the wonderful David who is the owner, I had been a victim of an attempted car theft (dumb tik tok challenge aka Kia Boys). Someone had broken my driver door lock and entered that way then proceeded to jam my ignition cylinder where I wasn't able to fully engage my keys to turn on my vehicle. I tried to ask the dealership where I had bought my car to fix it but they were too afraid to touch it because it wasn't a vehicle brand they normally work with (bought it at a Honda dealership). So I tried calling the Kia dealership and they were backed up for two weeks for service but they gave me a number to their body shop where they send all their vehicles and the quote I got from them to fix both issues was well over $1k. I was feeling frustrated, irritated, pissed and sad all at the same time so I decided to search on Yelp for a locksmith and came across this hidden gem. David immediately responded to my quote I had sent via yelp and he gave me a quoted price that was less than half the body shop was asking for and he was able to meet me immediately instead of waiting for days like other places. Friendly and quick efficient business owner that made me felt rest assured that my problems were all being resolved with no funny business. I couldn't have asked for a better Lock Smith and I will forever be a dedicated customer whenever I need any type of his service. I highly recommend you give him a call and see for yourself why myself and many others praise David! Thank you again boss! read more

For a while now I've been driving around without my key fob because replacing it was too expensive! My dates of being inconvenienced by this matter were up and I desperately needed the replacement. I reached out to a couple of locksmiths on Yelp messenger requesting quotes. David responded back in no time answering all of my annoying questions. He set an appointment for him to come (yes, he's mobile!) the following day before noon; however, ended up being available to show up the same day! He came by and got the exact info in order to order a new key fob replacement for me. He informed me that usually they take 5-7 days to receive and he would be in touch once it's in. I accepted and expected to hear from him in a week or so. Here it is 4 days later and David sends me a message saying that the key was in and that he can be by in 30 minutes to program it!!! I was so happy and impressed!!! If under promise and over deliver was a person, it would be him!!! David's pleasant and prompt customer service is impeccable! He's honest and transparent!!! Did I mention that the key fob works?! IT WORKS!!! Thank you David! read more

The FASTEST most reliable key smith I've ever encountered. I reached out to him with a quote and less than 12 hours later, first thing in the morning he was calling me to make sure I still needed his services and arrived in 10 minutes. David was super responsive to my questions over the Yelp app and we arranged for him to come out today @ 10AM. He was right on time and replaced my key fob and emergency key in less than 10 minutes. It worked flawlessly. As a tech guy myself I took a look inside to admire the work bench in his van. He's really done a fantastic job with getting everything he needs installed in there. Beautiful setup! The work of an expert. For the nickel and dime crowd - I have no problem paying a premium for convenience and service, but David provided both of those things and still beat the closest retail shop by $15. I highly recommend David and Car Key Solution for all your car locksmithing needs. read more

My key broke inside the key hole of the door on my 1995 Mercedes-Benz. Tried calling few locksmiths and they declined because of the type of key the car has. We googled car locksmiths after our friend had his keys stolen at a bar. A guy showed up in an unmarked van had no clue what to do. He left said be back in 5 minutes came back with a friend an hour later. They still had no clue said they need to get the key fob and will be back in 5 minutes. An hour later they came back and could not key the car. They said they will send someone else in 5 minutes. Another hour passes. We had arrived at 12:00 and it was now about 4:00. eventually a 3rd guy came and looked like he was on the ball but failed to re-key the care. It was now close to 6:00 when we called a 4th guy (His truck is in the image) he said hell be right there and he arrived in a matter of minutes. He said ill have this done in 20 minutes. He checked our friends ID to make sure it was his car he was opening (the other 3 did not do this) He did things the others did not, He did some copy key from the door that is also the back up if the wireless did not start the car and had the wireless unit in his van. ( the other guys had to go find one on a 3rd trip and still failed to key the car) SO this guy keys the lock, reprograms the keyless fob and the car was running with new key and remote and keyless fob and in less then 20 minutes. What took almost 6 hours from people who obviously did not know what they were doing, this guy did it in minutes. It was 110 degrees no place to go for comfort. standing on cement parking lot for 6+hours. YES we tipped him very very well. My advice is DO NOT CALL anyone who uses a call center or operator. They will just dispatch someone who took an on line course in locksmithing and you will end up dreading that decision. Take an image of this guys truck and save it in your phone like we all did. One day and it will happen you will need fast, accurate help and not spend all day in the hot sun watching 3 different people attempting what they knew nothing about. I do not leave reviews unless the situation was very good or horrible. This one is 5 stars. I'm not some paid poster. I am a CEO of a publicly traded company here in NV and don't have time to waste playing online games. This guy was the real deal! if you don't believe me, make sure your are near a place to sit inside with AC or have plenty of water because if you cheap out it won't go well, I assure you. read more

David was extremely quick, efficient, and really affordable. He cut a new driver key and programmed the remote all for $100 when Acura was trying to charge me 350 plus tax for this. I have a 2008 Dodge ram and both key fobs quit working (Lock/unlock buttons). and every time I opened the door with the key manually my alarm went off. Not a way to make friends in the neighborhood :). After changing the battery on the "good" one, still no good. The other one was obviously damaged on the circuit board. I dreaded calling the dealership and found this place on Yelp. David answered right away and setup an appointment. Christian was here early (less than 3 hours after my initial call). He came straight to my house, grabbed one of the keys and copied/programmed them perfectly into new keys. David gave me a very fair quote over the phone for 1, and Christian gave me a deal on the spot for a 2nd key when I asked if he could. I have 2 new keys for what is probably about half of what he dealer would have charged me for 1. Christian was super nice and professional and I would highly recommend these guys. If I ever need something for my other vehicles they will be my first call. Thanks guys, you made this problem seem much smaller than I thought it was! read more

My husband lost one of our car keys while on a road trip. We called David and he answered immediately. Turns out that the make and model of our car couldn't handle an electronic key replacement, without potentially wiping out the entire computer system! David was honest and up front about. Poor customer service! this guys wants to pop up when ever is most convenient for him. He does not make appointments and when you tell him you need an appointment to avoid even more time being wasted, he does not honor the time frame. He straight up did not show up that afternoon for my appointment. That evening after it was hours after my schedule time he says he on his way. Didn't apologize for the no show or anythin, just expected to show up. I was having this job done at my workplace. I'm gone after 4pm so by time he called I was already gone. After days of back and forth he finally showed up and was rude. He was rushing me because I wasn't outside the instant he pulled up as if he's known to be on time. After he finished the job, he still charged full price, despite it AWFUL customer service and my new key does NOT work from a FEW feet away. I have to be standing right next to my car for the key to work. Also for those of you who don't know, he cuts into the area under your steering wheel and then puts a screw there to keep it closed. This is something that will drive the value of your car down. DO NOT USE THIS MAN'S AWFUL SERVICE!!! read more

Excellent service, price, and products. I had an Audi that I wanted a duplicate key fob for and David made it super simple and easy for me. His price point was great and he was in and out in 30 minutes. I was able to get a used OEM reprogrammed key and valet key cut that works perfectly. read more

Thank you Asaf for helping my mom replace the lost ignition and door keys for her automobile! I live in So. Cal. and coordinated work with Asaf in Las Vegas over the phone. Yeah, not sure where to start, But this company does not know what customer service is. It started earlier this week when I called to see if they could make a key for me on my car. They would have to make one from scratch using the tool they have that can pick damn near any lock. I was told to come in and they would see what they could do. I set up for a time to meet them on Wednesday and which I felt as if I had to chase him down for a response. Re-arranged my day to make it down to them to just tell me after 3 minutes of them looking at it that they couldn't make one for the doors but could for the trunk. No insight to what the issue was, just that he couldn't do it. It was like talking to someone that had no knowledge on how to talk to a customer. He sprayed the lock with wd-40 and just let it run down the side of my car like it wouldn't stain it. Trash work ethic is what I get from this business. So I would take your needs somewhere else . read more
