First off the location of this place is between the coin laundry and the 7 eleven on Burbank Boulevard across the street from Burbank Quality Brake & Alignment. It's extremely close to the McDonalds. This place isn't one of those janky huts you mostly fine. It has an actual store front with lots of products on display! They don't try to upsell you with anything and their prices are very fair. They also have a lot of stuff in there, like keys for your home with football teams, baseball teams, Mickey, Minnie, Winnie the Pooh, and that's just to name a few. They have a nice selection of door handles, levers, key chains, lanyards and any and every other type of locks you could imagine! I highly recommend this place for anything that has to do with a lock or key. You can even bring in a broken key (like if it broke into your ignition or something) and they can remove it. Terrible, just utterly terrible! Who takes 3 hours to program a car key? Are you serious!? The young guy had no clue what the heck he was doing and I was scared for my car. Needless to say, don't come here yelpers! The last locksmith I called for a replacement key ( for my same car ) took 10 minutes to pop the door open, make me a key and program it. Very, very grateful for these guys. My car key had been slowly deteriorating for months. First, the remote part cracked, leaving the key loose, and then the unlock/lock buttons fell out (although the panic button still worked). Clearly, I had been putting off replacing my car key (and remote) for far too long, and when I finally NEEDED (aka my key was hanging dangerously loose from the remote, although I could still start the engine with it) to replace it, I searched around and found this place. After a quick phone call where I was told it would be $45 and about 20 mins to make a new key/remote, I was pretty skeptical, but I decided to drive all the way out there from West Hills anyway, considering the dealership was going to charge me $365+. Anyway, my skepticism was shot down when I walked out of that shop 25 mins after getting there, new key in hand, and $45 spent, just as promised. I did some searching online for a BMW locksmith and Lock Solutions Inc. seemed like they knew what they were doing. I lost my chip to my 3series BMW and instead of paying an arm and leg to get a new key made at a dealership, I made an appointment with Rani and he came to my home as scheduled. I told him in advanced I had a spare inside my car that wasn't programmed yet. He opens my car for me (no charge) and turns out I misplaced the chip elsewhere. I wanted to double check my house just in case I had the (blank) chip and Rani was nice enough to wait. And then I found it! He programs my key within 5-10 minutes and as we check the chips functions, it wouldn't lock my car unless I locked it manually..... So I had a half working key. Figures. Are you looking for a locksmith who knows how to make a key correctly? Come to Lock Solutions Inc. I found them through Home Depot when I was desperate for someone to cut my Kia Key and not take advantage of me in the process. Home Depot didn't have the blank. I asked if I had to go to the dealer like the last time and pay an enormous price for the blank and then pay to have it cut. Home Depot said no, go to this place the next day. I show the guy the key and he pulls out a Hyundai blank, makes the key and it works like a dream. I get one more just in case. $5 for each key. One Kia wanted $29 for the blank and that didn't include getting it cut. The guy at Lock Solutions told me what I knew, that Hyundai and Kia are from the same manufacturer. So, if you want a reasonably priced locksmith with good service, contact Lock Solutions. I don't know about any other service they may offer but I have their card on my fridge so if I need a locksmith, I would call them first. read more

He came out right away but as we were talking, I had an emergency so we had to postpone. He didn't charge me for the extra call to come back out and the whole rekeying was very reasonable and he was in and out in less than an hour. (Six locks in total.) I went in to have a key cut for my Honda Civic. The staff members were all very friendly and did an excellent job making sure my key worked properly before I left. I'm so glad I went here because I actually purchased the incorrect housing for my Civic on Amazon, but they were able to fit the old bits inside the new key with a simple modification (clipped a plastic portion off of the inside of the new housing).
