I needed to replace my key fob with key and get it programed. I was quoted $250 (new key and programming). Panorama Lock & Key cut and programmed my Amazon purchased key ($18) for $100! Very nice man, by the way. Couple of things to keep in mind - call first to make sure he is there (in case he has to run an errand) and they take cash only. read more

This place is a lifesaver! Brought in my Lexus, because, I somehow screwed up my key. The wireless lock/unlock buttons stopped working. Victor helped me out. Went inside of my car and within minutes, was able to fix both my original and spare key. Highly recommend this place! The price was half of what others were asking. Provided immediate and emergency service for me and my mother when we had a restraining order against a family member and needed to change the locks for our protection. Brian came out within 20 minutes and changed all the locks for us. We even had a misunderstanding and he had to redo some work because we were the ones who misunderstood something but he changed it again without charge to us. read more

Bryan and his coworker were very attentive, reliable, and fast to provide service. Respond very fast online and also took less 10 minutes for them to duplicate a chipped car key and my other keys as well :) Affordable prices as well and was a cute little shack. read more

This little kiosk had everything you could possibly need. I went for a key that wasn't commonly made around town and was able to get that and then some at this one stop shop. read more

Totally forgot to review this place but back when I was living in Van Huys hood.... yeah, I locked myself out =? Good thing a coworker had this guy's number, CHEAPEST in the area. Service: Perfect. Its by a locksmith! Definitely better than any walmart or home depot key service, which I had to get my keys done twice when just making copies there. Customer Service: Such a nice jolly guy! I mean you're stuck in a frustrated situation but he makes it into a cheery situation. Price: Man, at that moment I would have paid anything since I don't know any other locksmith. According to my other coworkers and friends in the area, this place is the cheapest. What is Al W. talking about?! lol I later asked what happened to the girl with the horrible customer service and he said he's never had anyone else work for him haha Mom and Pop shop, except no mom here only pop working here. read more

After a lot of research and calling around, we came here for a replacement keyless remote key fob for our Chevy Malibu. They quoted $65 (including programming), which was half the cost the local dealership quoted. After they looked at our two dying remotes, they told us they could replace the worn-out buttons and casings (and solder a broken piece) for only $25 each. The gentlemen (father and son, I think), were courteous, helpful and quick. They have a large selection of remotes, so they will likely have what you need. And, of course, they do keys too. They only accept cash. Note: they are not visible from Van Nuys Blvd. When looking for this place, enter the parking lot behind Bank of America. They are located in a standalone kiosk about 30 feet away. It's easy to find when you know where to look. read more

Bryan has came in clutch. I've came here for all my key needs and has helped me out. I've gotten some key fobs for my cars programmed for wayyy less than the dealership. There are people who come and go quick and others who take longer so I'd say just have patience since this man is a one man army that will easily give you 5 star service. Will gladly return when I get another car or lose my key read more

Programmed my remote to my 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix, was very quick and was in and out in under 5 minutes. Would definitely recommend

Outstanding! The man in the shack cut eight keys for me in about three minutes. I like how they don't permanently stamp the name and phone number of this business onto each key they cut like other places. Excellent prices (cash only) and speedy service. I will definitely recommend and return. read more

I've been coming to this place for years... granted only a handful of times bc honestly, how often do you need to get keys copied? on Monday, unexpectedly I had to get the locks on my door changed and only received one copy. checking yelp I knew they closed @ 6pm though it was 6:15, I stopped by bc I was driving right across the street. I became hopeful when I saw the lights were on in the kiosk... I saw that the owner was making copies of a customer's keys when I rushed over and asked him if he could do mine as well... as he was making my copies, I asked, "don't you guys close at 6?" he replies with a smile, "yes but it's my job if somebody wants keys." WOW. talk about customer service. great people, great value, and awesome service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! read more

Great service. Friendly and helpful. Needed some house and mailbox keys cut and it took just a minute or two for those. Also got two additional transponder keys cut and programmed. Curtis the owner was fast and competent with that too. Saved a fortune compared to the dealer estimate for over $220 for one key. Very happy and would go back again in a heartbeat. read more

I been back for the basic stuff but most recently they made keys for our office filing cabinets which we lost. I gave them the code on the lock they made the keys. One fit and worked. The other didn't. They made another and it worked! The older guy is super nice as well as the younger one. Hence, why I'm back. I'm still leaving off a star from my previous experience. Either way... I'd totally recommend them! Thanks Panorama Lock & Key!! @Diana W. This was back in '08 and the female wasn't the problem. Over and done with. Simple. They made up for it. read more

I lost my key for my Honda Accord. The car has an excellent alarm system that uses a (fob) remote to turn the alarm on and off, plus lock the doors -- and when locked, the engine will start but the transmission will not engage. It's almost too good. Anyway, the best deal I could get to replace the key and the fob (remote) was $375. Ouch! Finally found Panorama Lock and Key. Wow!!! Double Wow !!! These guys quoted me $75. Ended up charging me $60. Did it in 20 minutes. (The Honda dealership said I would need to leave my car overnight.) I had an extra key that didn't work and an extra fob. Panorama had the latest high tech instruments to bring these back to life. Guys were friendly and fun. Oh. Although the alarm in my car was close to Honda's original factory equipment, it was actually an aftermarket (Passport 2000) device. You really had to know what you were doing. These guys really knew what they were doing. Hint: It helps to have the correct name of your aftermarket equipment but I don't think it's essential. Astonishing experience. I will write about it on my website (www.jaronsummers.com) read more

I needed a new key fob and this place had the best prices. A lot of people over charge for key programming but these guys aren't trying to rip you off. In addition, it's easy to park I was in and out in 5 minutes. Thanks Bryan! read more

Panorama Lock & Key is the best lock and key shop I have ever been in. My keys work like a charm! Once I got locked out of my home (I used Home Depot's lock) and it was raining hard. Havent seen locksmith experts like this in a long time. Under 10 minuets had my car key made and programmed. Mind you, this is a newer car with all the programing headaches. i desperately needed a key for my 2000 lexus as both of my spares' shells were glued shut after multiple times of cracking and the batteries were out. Therefore the remotes were dead and i wasn't able to automatically unlock, lock, pop the trunk, turn off the headlights with two taps of the remote, etc. (i know... the struggle right?). i reached out to 10 locksmiths in the area on yelp and most of them got back to me instantly. 2 even called/texted me right away and asked me to send pics of both spares to see which one we could salvage. I went with panorama lock & key because the quote was the cheapest out of all ($45). A few total key replacement (key cut, shell, and remote) quotes i received were from $450-$50. The lexus dealership quoted me at $200, and the $80-$450 quotes were from locksmiths who would actually meet me wherever the car was. another reason i went with panorama lock & key is because i grew up in the area and while bryan worked on my key, i went grocery shopping and ate filipino food =P i brought both spares and bryan investigated and determined that i needed a whole new key- remote, shell and key cut. i left my car parked behind their little hut and when i came back 30 mins later the key was done and programmed. Now i have a brand new key for the price i was quoted for, and two spares! THANKS! P.S. CASH ONLY read more

Ha! Lights on but no one home. And phone number out of order. Don't waste your time, 0 stars!

I bought a Honda Crv with only 1 key and no remote. The dealer wanted 240 to cut a new key with remote, plus i had to make an appointment, and leave my car all day. Panorama Lock and Key made a new key with a remote and programmed the remote for $130. I saved $110 and, i only had to wait about a half hour. I went to get a fairly unusual car key duplicated, and this place really lives up to its great reputation! I had had a problem with the key getting stuck in the ignition, and the tech guy (I forgot to ask his name!) went to my car to try out the new key with me, and sprayed some WD40 in the key hole of both the ignition and the door. I am so happy that it is working fine now. Thanks!! read more

Wow this place is great! I broke my car key and went to the dealer to get it replaced but they wanted to charge so much for a new key (because they had to connect the chip to the car, etc). I came here instead and they were able to give me a new car key and connect it to my car for much less. I appreciate that they don't try to rip you off. The guy was the one who helped me out.
