We needed to update our lock system at the shop so we called around and see who can help us right away. Dan was able to come by the following day. You're about to head out on a sunny Saturday for a funday and then you both walk out without keys and get locked out. There is no hidden spare. Panic erupts. I literally started calling locksmiths one by one-half didn't answer and those who did were busy or it would've taken hours to get to us. Dan answered right away and was here in less than an hour. I write very few Yelp reviews and when I do the service is either incredibly bad or incredibly good. This company is the best. So let me list the wonderful things about working with this company: 1. They show up at the promised time. 2. They deliver the services as promised and for the amount that was promised. 3. They are knowledgeable about their craft. I have some old but wonderful locks that they had NO issue working with. 4. They are trustworthy. 5. They are helpful. We had a number of choices we could have made. They explained each carefully and laid out the pros/cons/prices and let us make the decision that was right for us. 6. They stayed and got the job done in one trip. 7. They were attentive to my budget needs. We had a quote from another locksmith for $1500 who want to replace all the locks. My tech suggested rekeying the lock for $60 dollars. While the technician was there he help point out some other security risks and suggested cost effective methods to counteract them. We are going to take his suggestions and will have him come back tor a lock to the gate. I can't recommend them enough. If you need a locksmith, this should be the number you call. read more

I'm so angry, I can't even sleep. This company was the provider for my house cleaning service via amazon.com. Why a lock smith company is in the cleaning business is curious, but initially this was not my concern. Amazon tells you, you'll be contacted by the service provider 24 hours before service. I got a call at 9pm the night before. I was annoyed, but got over it quickly. To shorten a very long and frustrating experience, BEFORE the cleaner came to my house, I will just say he was over an hour and a half late. Again, I was annoyed, but glad to be getting a cleaning. I had a very important day happening during this cleaning time, so I had my mom come to let the cleaner in and take my dog out of the house. I'm going to skip a lot of detail here because I'm too angry to write it all and it's too long. The most important to me was the final product. Here's a summary: he was at my 2bd/2ba apartment for 5 hours. 1 bedroom did not need to be cleaned and I explained this because the person was still moving in and there was boxes everywhere. It had just been cleaned, new carpet and painted. Therefore 1 bedroom/2 bath left to clean. Here's SOME of the areas not cleaned: toilet, bathroom sink, bathroom floors, bathroom counter, kitchen floors, kitchen surface next to stove, kitchen table, nothing was dusted, in any room. I paid $230 for a "deep" clean that was supposed to include the oven and refrigerator. There are so many other areas not cleaned that I'm too angry to list them. I took some pictures, but again I got frustrated and gave up. There was still popcorn all over the living room rug from the night before. Still tooth paste in the sink from that morning. I can go on and on. Honestly, I am leaving out a lot of detail about my conversations with the cleaner himself. So much more to this story. Point is, if you get them as your cleaner, cancel! It's hard to catch dust and goo in a picture. but I did my best with these pictures. UPDATE SEPT. 2017: I am not sure why the owner of the business is claiming I am "competition". He has obviously deleted his earlier comment asking me to contact him so that he could "make it right". I am a private individual who was assigned a house cleaner via Amazon, sent by Lock & Security. I am including images of my order proving that the service was provided by them. For a business owner to make fake claims about me being competition, because they got a bad review, is just shady. If you want to make such claims, don't attach them to my review. Since he has a history of deleting his comments, here is the comment I am referring to... Even though there was a technical glitch in getting my address to him for the appt I had thought I scheduled on Friday, Dan was still able to get to my place that afternoon to not only re-key the locks to my front door but also add a deadbolt to my other door and re-key those locks so that I now only have one key for all of the locks. He also added some extras to the re-keyed locks to make it harder for a thief to attempt to pick them open... I highly recommend Dan! Super quick to call back and he was here within 20 minutes. Our deadbolt was spinning in circles and we couldn't lock the door. The lock is old and the piece that broke had broken before and had a custom made replacement. Dan quickly modified the lock so he could use a readily available Scalage piece to replace the broken part. It is working perfectly again! Very reasonably priced! What a great experience! We were in desperate straits, as my toddler was locked in his bedroom due to a 70-year-old doorknob with a completely jammed latch. Dan da' locksmith... Wow, what can I say? He's always been on time, performed work at the highest level in terms of professionalism and skill as well as super friendly. I first hired his company to change out the locks on a house I rent in Saratoga. Too bad I can't stay there for a longer period of time to feel as secure as I do now protected by his lock smith work. He's moving some of the locks and equipment to my new house. Too bad we can't take everything. Its too "in there." This guy made it impossible for anyone except perhaps a safe cracker or himself to remove some of the stuff installed on that house. So, if I was on a panel of 3, my vote would be a 10 out of 10. Lastly, I'm going to not only hire his company to replace the locks on my new home, I will put in some motion detectors and internal/external cameras. They do that too. I accidentally (what other way is there, really!!??) locked my keys in the trunk of my car! It had been a crazy, busy day and I wasn't grounded which led to my mishap. I realized I had done so as soon as I closed the trunk! So, was pretty bummed. I Googled "locksmith" and Lock & Security Systems was at the top of my search.
