My wife and I used to eat here often, she picked up dinner today. The pizza was nasty, it didn't even look good, her chicken parmigiana didn't come with the spaghetti. So I had mozzarella sticks which were ok, pizza is going in the trash, she had a salad and fried chicken breast in marinara sauce for over 40$. It's sad, this place used to be so good. read more

You just can't go wrong with anything here. Their CarnaTelli pizza is so good. My hubby really likes the Zingers. We've also had the MarghaTelli and the Manicotti. Everything is very tasty. If you go on a Friday, after work, be prepared to wait. It's a small place and it gets packed. Worth the wait though. I think the best part about the place is their waitstaff. They are amazingly friendly, helpful, and always have a smile on their face. I love the atmosphere. read more

busy place! great for families and a few bar spots for couples. it is a bit far for me for takeout, but their service is fast and the food was fresh. Staff were friendly and everyone pitches in, regardless if it's their table. I noticed and appreciate that kind of teamwork. My recommendations: Southern Pecan beer from Lazy Magnolia Brewery with their Popeye Salad. You can make your pizza Keto-friendly with their cauliflower crust - it makes a 10" personal pizza. Originally was going to Fry rd. location. Was Excellent for over a year, went 3/4 times a month. changed mgmt, went 2x, both times service was not good. Orders wrong, overcooked pIzza. Came to this location, just off Grant. Was told this was original & best. Came by Saturday 5:15. Wif & I Ordered slice / beer. Slice came, crust burnt. Ate as much as I could. I don't generally return food, don't complain to mgmt. found it's generally a waste of time. Server did an excellent job, burnt pizza not her fault. Tipped her accordingly. 3rd time a charm. Cant find a good reason to return. Shame, will be looking for another place to get pizza in N/W Houston. read more

I walked in and stood in the pick up line for at least 6 mins (yes I timed it) I made eye contact with at least 2 employees who never thought to at least acknowledge me while I waited. One seemed to be busy searching for something , and the other was waiting on clients at the bar. Finally the one stopped searching and asked "pick up or dine in".I told her I called in my order but asked to try the "pizza bowl" , I asked how long and she stated 5 mins so I figured what's another 5 mins ... 5 minutes turned into 13! Finally I got my food and although i only had a couple minutes left on my lunch break to scarf it down I will say it was pretty good. Hence the one star. read more

Ordered for the first and last time! Sub par pizza. The crust is equal to a frozen pizza, tastes like cardboard. The toppings were sparse. At first we were given the wrong pizza, then after getting the correct one, it looked as if it had been sitting for awhile, even though we showed up in 12 minutes instead of the 20 minutes stated upon ordering. This location is not closed. We come olmost weekly and find the pizza, service and atmosphere very good. Staff is very friendly and works hard to provide excellant service and food. We have never been disappointed. Hayden, often our server, is top notch and sets the tone for very friendly. Jenna, the manager, is also very friendly and does a great job keeping things going. Exactly what were these people thinking when they concocted their "pizza sauce"? Garlic? Nah. Oregano? They'll pass. Black pepper, red chili flakes? Swing and a miss. My wife said, "This has no flavor. It tastes like nothing." Sadly, this place would be well suited if they actually used the same cheese with which they share a name. I'm super unhappy with my recent visit. Have been a regular for years- always came for Dwight and engaging in conversation and pizza. Today, my son's pepperoni toppings slid completely off his slice in a messy puddle. Waved over our waitress and asked for another slice- she seemed puzzled about our request and "had to ask her manager " Sorry customer service - won't return - wish Dwight was here - he would have never treated his customers like this. read more

This is a local favorite and a family favorite of ours. Whether you want you order takeout or dine in, this family owned restaurant will please everyone's palate. Rho Rho Rolls are Locatelli's version of pizza rolls and they're amazing! You can order a custom topped "slice" of pizza that's 1/4 of a large pizza served fresh and hot. There are so many other choices like salads, pasta, and more! Locatelli's has beer on tap, as well as bottled beer, wine, and sodas. The staff and owners are friendly, helpful, and happy to serve all of their customers with a smile. My kids have grown up with this restaurant and Cypress is lucky to have this little gem right in our backyard. read more

Stopped here with my family the other day. Food was absolutely Exquisite in every way! Ice cold beverages, piping hot food and very reasonable prices. Love the decor oh, it's very cozy. We found the place was squeaky clean. This is what a restaurant is supposed to look and feel like. The wait staff was out of this world. I am originally from the Chicago area, so I have had some pretty good pizza. I live near Fort Worth now (38 Years) and was in town visiting my mom. I have been to Locatelli's a few times before so I am not sure what happened. My mom and I stopped in on 02/18, ordered a Lg pizza and a couple of beers while we waited. The pizza came in literally less than 10 minutes which I thought was odd, never got a pizza that quick in my life but brushed it off. We brought the pizza home and it tasted like it had been cooked the night before and reheated or something, crust was stale and it just tasted nasty! Not sure what happened to your quality but my advice is you better fix it or you will not be in business long! read more

Congratulations, Locatelli's. You've passed the NYC pizza test. For a last minute get-together, I was instructed to get pizza. I usually hate pizza, so when I DO get it, it better be good. My husband recommended Locatelli's. We ordered two large pizzas - the Locatelli's special and the margherita - with a Greek salad. The crust was thin and crispy and oh so good. Toppings were plentiful but not so overloaded that they slipped off the cheese. And there were chunks of garlic in the sauce. I'm a sucker for garlic. The portions are pretty big. We had a group of about 10 and two pizzas were enough for everyone to have seconds. We even had some left over. The best part? My New York relatives were oooing and ahhing over their slices, saying how it reminded them of home. Score! read more

I'm sure this is the neighborhood favorite. Otherwise they wouldn't be in business anymore. I gave them a try after trying them a couple of times back a few years ago when I moved into the neighborhood and I guess I'm headed back to pizza hut or other places. Looking to relax a bit and have a beer, I wanted to have lager and they have something I'd never heard of called Bearded Fox? Anyway I asked the cashier for a lager and she had to defer to the other girl that was engaged in talking to a bar patron and would not respond. He meanwhile, the cashier had to stop my order and take a phone call because I couldn't even get a simple question answered. Nobody seems to know what they sell. When I finally sat down with my red ale since that's the closest that they had to what I'm looking for apparently, i read the "bear" list which I was never offered except to tell me that they did have coors and bud in bottles and some of the other beers that I was naming but I wanted a draft beer and I had already read the taps. So with all 5 people in the place (customers) and being 1 of 2 with a to go order, there is a big mystery as to who I am when the order is ready. I don't really think the owners care because last time I wasn't pleased, I went on their website and never heard from anyone. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but they seem fat and happy and I'll bet management doesn't give a flip. 1. Offer everyone a menu or make it an obvious posting 2. Train your people to answer simple questions about the products they sell. 3. Have a more customer-oriented, rather than order-oriented process. 4. Have someone in the front of the "house" that is more mature and knowledgeable to engage the inquiries and assure your customers. Meanwhile, I'm giving up on this place. Hey, if you like it and you've gone there for years, have fun! Would you drive 10 miles to get pizza from your favorite place? I do Whenever I have a craving and Locatelli's for me is the best pizza this part of town. I've been going there for 7+ years, ever since the place was nothing more than a little hole-in-the wall, in an small strip mall in the middle of a residential area. Still kind of is, but looks much nicer today than it did back then. The place is smallish, but only really packed during r the rush dinner hour every day of the week. They close on Mondays, so keep this in mind. They have some tables outdoors, which is nice even if the view is that of the parking lot and a McDonald's drive-thru. The crust is fantastic and the ingredients really fresh. They have 2 sizes (13" and 17"), but also sell pizza by the slice (1/4 of a 17"). Cost is very reasonable for pizza this good. A large pizza, a salad and 2 or 3 iced teas will set me back about $24 bucks. I like it simple, so I always go for a Margathelli pizza (tomatos, mozzarella and fresh basil). The abundant fresh basil on top of the pizza is a very nice touch. The Blues salad, with walnuts, feta, etc.. is huge and feeds at least 3 people, They have pastas, sandwiches and other stuff on the menu, but I normally stick to the pizza. We keep coming and never leave disappointed. For me the best is that quality has stayed consistent over the years. We eat in as much a we do take out. People are extremely friendly as well. We try other pizza places, but nothing comes close and we end up always going back to Locatelli's. read more

We've been here twice, and have loved it both times. The first time we had pizza. It was better than the mushroom place. Lol This time I had eggplant parmigiano and salad. Better than the olive place. My daughter had a small gluten-free pizza, and said that the crust was also better than the chain that is named after fungi. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs. He even stole some of my spaghetti so he could finish off the sauce. They make their own sauce and it's fresh. The waitress was very friendly, and kept our glasses full. We even met the manager. Very nice guy! I highly recommend this locally owned restaurant. Come on in. The food's great. read more
