This place is tasty, healthy and just interesting place to try. It has Organic, allergen-free meals with, counter-service where you can dine outside the sidewalk tables. A lot of good and healthy choices, deserts are a must to try! A bit out of the way and if you're up for a walk from Madison avenue? it's for a good cause.

Sometimes I treat myself to Uber Eats from this place. Almost anything on the menu is gluten and dairy free so it makes it really easy to trust ordering there from an allergy perspective. I will say it is expensive. But the food is healthy, hearty, and quite good. Things I've tried: - organic chicken plate with the roasted rainbow carrots, butternut squash, pesto sauce dressing. This is such a great complete meal. It's just so expensive for what it is. 7/10 - nourishing chicken soup. Hearty and filling soup. 9/10 - creamy pumpkin pasta. I have no idea how they achieve this level of creaminess while being dairy free and the gluten free pasta is also soft and delicious. This is a real treat. 10/10 - kabocha squash soup. This honestly wasn't for me. I love Squash, butternut squash, and pumpkin fall flavors, but this had a weird almost sour taste to it that I did not enjoy. 3/10 - Grass fed hanger steak plate with spaghetti, squash, and lemon kale & spinach. This steak was delicious and tender, but I wasn't a big fan of the sides. The spaghetti squash really wasn't that soft and the kale and spinach were very chewy. 7/10

Gamey and watery Wild Salmon Skinny Burger, and Wild Shrimp Fajita Wrap with avocado cilantro sauce and pico de gaillo

TLDR: food CAN be good; unpredictable / inconsistent experiences -- be mindful that it's "healthy" but expensive; NOTE: delivery is SLOW I've ordered from Locanut three times now and have had mixed experiences with the food, wait time and delivery service. The first time I ordered a skinny salmon burger and a lemony kale quinoa salad. The food arrived very fresh -- albeit very expensive -- and was satisfying. I waited about 45min and it was delivered within my estimated delivery window from UberEats using Relay (which I'll come back to). The salmon burger was on a collard green wrap and had tons of flavor, a delicious side sauce, and I felt was a decent price (but would like at least some sort of complimentary side... even if it's a few sprigs of lettuce lol) The second time I ordered from here, I ordered two entrees to have one for lunch the next day. I chose the skinny salmon burger again and the shrimp fajita wrap, both on collard green wraps. I'll start by saying I like the option for a low carb wrap being standard. Unfortunately, the delivery for this order took FOREVER. it took over an hour and a half to get my food, and I used Grubhub this time. Relay SUCKS and they often prioritize me third in the queue for delivery, so the process of pairing a driver, delivering other orders, and getting to me means soggy cold food and a long wait time. The wraps were both cold, and super watery... the skinny salmon burger had a game-y salmon taste and was not fresh... I did like the cilantro sauce however. The fajita wrap was pretty tasty, very watery but well cooked ingredients. Since both dishes were lukewarm I can't say much about the freshness because I honestly couldn't tell. Given this experience, I would not have ordered from here again, except for the fact that Locanut a three dollar promo for providing feedback on the app. This brings me to my third order tonight, which took inexcusably long and encountered the exact same delivery issues as the second experience. My order took over an hour to deliver and came completely cold. I ordered the quinoa power bowl with salmon and paid over $30 for entirely bland cold food. Even the lemon slice garnished on top was tasteless. I reheated the bowl and left the salmon out since it was already dry and I didn't want to ruin it even further. I added tons of fresh, lemon juice and salt and pepper of my own to try and remediate the situation. The meal ended up being OK but certainly not something I couldn't make better myself for literally 1/8 of the price. I don't foresee myself coming back here anytime soon unless I am in a total pinch or there is a discount. I would not recommend ordering from online services if you can avoid it - - try to pick it up yourself or eat in so you get quality food and at least some warmth to the dishes.

Paid $27 for this sad salad. The salmon left a metalic taste in my mouth. And it was such an underwhelming salad that I salt and peppered it. I should have went to justsalad a few blocks up. Staff are kind. The space is clean.

Baked Sweet potatoes & Spaghetti Squash Spasta

Locanut has a lot of great "clean eats" options including organic, gluten free, and vegan. I've been trying to eat better when ordering delivery and we were excited that a place like this delivers. We got 2 orders of their "Spaghetti Squash Spasta" - one with coconut cream sofrito (they should bottle that sauce up) and the other was an almond pesto (also yummy). The consistency is that of raw thin squash noodles - similar to rice noodles but better for you and with a crunchier texture. You can heat it up at home if you want it soft or probably ask them also. We also got their baked sweet potatoes and they were good too, but my babe likes crunchy fries like my dad used to make them so I would suggest for them to air fry these instead of baking them. For delivery, they followed my notes with the sauces, but just forgot the utensils and extra seasonings requested, which wasn't a big deal. Their drinks are healthy and good here too and overall, with limited "healthy" options out there, I'm happy this place exists and I would happily order from them again.

Love this!! Healthy, organic food is so hard to find prepared. My apple cider is packed with fruit, the food is low salt which is great to reset. Just grateful for some nourishment that I can feed to myself and my baby. Love the gluten free, dairy free, etc designations and the very healthy selections!

Organic Chicken soup in plastic bowl with added spinach. Organic and plastic doesn't go together. Brussels sprouts and pico de gallo.
Ingrid A.

I really really wanted to love this place as it was organic and served paleo options. Unfortunately receiving my hot chicken soup in a plastic bowl even after telling them that I was dining in was incredibly surprising. The plastic bowl wasn't a mistake as they brought it to me in a wooden tray. The pico de gallo was also served in a little plastic container with a cover. As we all know by now, plastic terrible for your health so it should not be served -ever - when dining in anywhere - especially not at an organic establishment.

Honey Dijon salmon plate w Roasted Broccoli and Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Without a doubt, one of my new fav spots to order from! They have all the best and healthiest options, from cauliflower risotto w chicken to spaghetti squash. I love their commitment to cooking amazing ingredients in the healthiest, cleanest ways possible; knowing that I'm not ingesting any extra or hidden ingredients that may not be so good for me is always a huge plus! This was my 2nd time ordering (through ubereats), and I'm just as blown away by how delicious and fresh everything tastes. I got the honey Dijon salmon plate w roasted Brussels sprouts and broccoli, and everything was cooked perfectly: roasted veggies weren't rock hard as can be the case when ordering this from many places, and the salmon was the perfect texture/tenderness! The flavor was amazing, and I loved how nothing was overly greasy or salty. My other go-to order is the cauliflower risotto w chimichurri chicken. It's absolutely delicious wihtout being heavy at all. All in all, you can't go wrong w anything on the menu, I'm definitely working my way through it!

Love this place so much!! They had the best accommodations and super nice employees

This place was amazing! Super yummy, healthy and best part of it was gluten free I'll be back

This restaurant is definitely healthy to say the least. OK part of it is my bad for ordering the fajita wrap in a collard green wrap - for some reason I totally dismissed the collard part and expected one of those Mission green tortillas lmao. But even without the wrap, the fillings of the wrap lacked flavor. The chipotle aioli also lacked the slight kick I usually expect from such a sauce. Really wanted to like it but overall disappointing.

Doesn't look like much when you walk past, but the music was so good , I just had to go in. I was practically dying of hunger so I popped in. The definition amazing is this place. I got the salmon with sides, there are no words. A classic done right. Crisp, juicy with all the right flavors. There's about a million options available between the menu board and wall full of specials, so it can get a little overwhelming, but you really can't go wrong. Not much else to say besides go see for yourself! You won't be disappointed, this I promise you. And BTW-they have a super clean bathroom.

Usually the food is good but today our collard wrap had the most insane sour smell. It was inedible due to the rancid smell unfortunately.

The arancini was a standout: perfectly crisp on the outside, creamy inside, and served with a rich, delicious sauce that tied it all together. We ended on the tiramisu, which was absolutely worth saving room. It was light, flavorful, and a perfect finish to the meal. What really elevated the experience, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind and helpful--especially notable for New York--and it made the whole evening feel relaxed and welcoming. A small heads-up: it's a bit tricky to find, so give yourself extra time. That said, the hidden, underground subway setting is part of the charm and makes the whole experience feel unique. To start with the good: the arancini were perfectly passable, and the Sicilian pie was enjoyed by all. I would describe it as more of a Detroit style actually, with a super crispy crust and nice textural contrast. On the other hand, we did not enjoy the seasonal vegetable pie or the nepo pie. I generally really like this sort of no-cheese, umami-heavy pizza, but the nepo was so salty! I'm not sure what specific ingredient was missing, but missing it was. My hopes for a recreation of the rossa pie I enjoyed at Farina prior to their closure were dashed. As for the vegetable pie, the vegetables tasted like the frozen veggies one might find in what was once marketed as a "TV dinner". It was a shame, since the sauce of the white pie was otherwise pretty good.
