Very interesting experience. Server seemed very new and like they had never served before. Halfway through our meal another server/bartender came in and was blaring music on her phone. She asked us if it was bothering us. Yes, your loud music over the music playing over the speakers was bothering us. She proceeded to yell across the bar at the bartender and was pulling things out of her purse such as cigarettes and leaving them on the bar. Not a good experience. Our waiter was young and energetic, but no training whatsoever. Not a single item on our order was correct. Not one. The lemon Cesar salad was certainly lemony, but that is all you can taste after two bites. The meatballs were over cooked until they were crunchy, and they really need to look up what a Margherita pizza is, because what they brought us was a cheese pizza with some basil sprinkled on it. Because of the service and food I can say I'd definitely be back. Our waitress was great and attentive to everything we needed. We sat at the bar and the environment in the entire indoor and outdoor area was relaxed and had a chill ambiance. Now about the pizza... I am super picky about my pizza and Local Pizza's is awesome! They have perfect prices for the pizzas that are slightly elevated in flavors compared to a "normal pizza". So, in conclusion, 5/5. Will definitely be back. read more

I am a local. Food is not very authentic in Italian. First time the place opened, I ordered pizza and something on it smelt bad, didn't eat it. A year later, I decided to try this place again, I ordered Chicken Alfredo with extra sauce. The dish was made with egg noodles, not homemade pasta, the sauce was watery (forgot the extra sauce). and the chicken was tough seemed like it was processed. Somewhat expensive for what you get. First the good...the food is great. Sometimes. Like another poster said, they are inconsistent. We ordered the same pizza twice this week. First time it was perfect. Second time, soggy crust, and barely cooked. The bad? Horrible customer service. I stood at the counter for nearly 15 minutes before anyone came over to talk to me. Stopped in for a takeout pizza and to grab a quick drink at the bar. Interior and exterior design of the place are great, though we decided to stay inside because we had a rare 40 degree day in florida. The outside part is equipped with a turf patio and some fun games like corn hole, the insides a bit more classy. Pizza & crust were excellent. 3 size options, wood fired. Next time will ask for a bit more well done but thats just personal preference. Ingredients and sauce were super fresh. Only complaint was service was very um. Un-attentive. The bartender made us feel very unwelcome. Im not ever quick to judge servers or bartenders as i am one myself- but lord he never cracked a smile. Never an ounce of politeness, acted like it was a chore to serve us. Tried to talk to him about owners (which my boyfriend knows) and basically shrugged the conversation off. I don't know. I know everyone has their day, but even like a "hey I'm just a little busy yell if you need anything" would've been appreciated. Just received no attention. Visited during happy hour. Hate giving a negative review... Especially in the opening months of a restaurant. However, we feel as if the crust of their pizza is not only rockhard, but also does not taste good at all. Went back two more times hoping that our first bad encounter could have been rectified, and we were with the same rockhard crust. It also made it even harder to reheat if we had wanted to save part of the pizza. Perhaps a new recipe for their dough or another solution might make their pizza more palatable . Very lax on social distancing. Staff not wearing masks and customers grouped at the entrance. Tables closer than 6 ft apart. Pizza is okay, toppings better than the crust. However, customer service definitely needs improvement. Ordered takeout on Friday night. One pizza was ready on time and the other 2 were MIA. The hostess kept asking the lead cook where they were and he insisted they were in the warming case. 25 minutes later he finally agreed to make the other 2. Very frustrating experience. It could't be more local (around the corner from my home) and better. This is a nice new place o stop in for lunch or dinner. We got takeout plain pizza and the pizza bolognese. We ordered the bolognese with the cherry pepper relish on the side. Something ALWAYS goes wrong with this place. The last time I ordered pick-up, I waited a full 1.5 hours outside (alongside other frustrated customers) because there was a mixup with the orders and the manager was nowhere to bee seen. Because my usual place was closed tonight, I decided against my better judgement to give it another try--this time with delivery. Delivery time took over an hour (was told it would be between 45-60 minutes as context) because the delivery guy was told the wrong address. I had to call and confirm my address, but why didn't he call the number I left when placing the order?! It's unfortunate because the pizza is actually decent, but the management is so painfully poor that it just bleeds through to every level of service and ruins the entire experience. I love food. I know how to cook and I know how to make pizza from scratch. Hands down, local pizza has the best pizza I have had in the whole state. I have tried most of the pizzas on the menu and they are all terrific. My favorites are the carbonara pizza and the confetti pizza.
