The night before we popped in to see what they offer, and were alerted that the waffle iron was broken, but the batter was the same as the pancake. I also asked if they made ham/cheese sandwiches on croissant and was told no, they use to, but not anymore. That's what we remembered being good, that and the chai. I asked if the chai was still from a local, Long Beach, vendor and he got the bag out to show me. It was not the same brand I remembered, but it was labeled as a chai masala, so it sounded as good, and having had it this morning, I can confirm it is delicious, with a little kick. Sadly, the cup was not full. Stopping about an inch from the top. At $6.95, I would think it was full. Hubs had his coffee with "room for cream", so I went back up and asked if it could be topped off. 'Yes, help yourself, it's at the end over there', directing me to the coffee bar at the end of the counter. Ok, I guess the chai was made with half/half, since that was the jug I noticed sitting on the back bar and again at the coffee bar. Meh, It worked. Since the croissant sandwiches were out, I asked about the granola parfait and fruit cups in the display. I didn't see any prices listed, but Patricia thought 'they might be around $10.' Seems that should be an easy question, but it was a pass anyway since the fruit expiration I picked up was today's date. Hmmm.... I asked what flavor the muffins were and was told Cranberry Orange and they're delicious. Ok, Hubs went with a cinnamon roll, and I chose the muffin. Got my chai and he his coffee and sat down. Took a rather unladylike large bite of my muffin and discovered 2 things right away. First, my heated muffin was cold inside. Second, it was blueberry! Since I was looking forward to the seasonal cranberry orange flavor with my chai, I returned it to the counter. 'Oops, sorry, they all seem to be blueberry. Can I get you something else?' asked Patricia. I chose a heated, plain croissant. Good. Light and airy and worked in a pinch. Hub's cinnamon roll, with cream cheese frosting was good. Not heated all the way through, but he found it satisfying. The cream cheese was light and not super sweet, which was good. His coffee was .... coffee. lol It was obvious the tables hadn't been wiped down. A table of tourists finished their meals and wondered where to bus the dishes. A Hyatt employee, passing through, told them it was fine to leave them. Those dishes stayed there until after the 11am shift change. Seems the employee plan was to "let the next guy deal with it". It wasn't so busy that a multitasking, efficient worker could handle the barista and clearing/wipe down duties. This was first morning of our stay, but I think we'll look elsewhere tomorrow for breakfast. Cheers! "CC"

She apologized as she informed us that there was only one cook on staff as well. The other downside is the location as it can be difficult to find if you blink an eye. Located on the 2nd floor of The Crest Apartment bldg., the front entrance was locked and there is a tiny sign in the covered parking lot with an arrow but you still have to kinda guess where to go, which is on the opposite side of the entrance in the parking structure (essentially the back door) which made no sense to me. The bartenders Evan and Britney were very nice and looked after me and everyone else I came up to the bar for beers, always asking if they wanted their beer green. Their food selection on that day was tremendously great. I had the corned beef on wheat bread and it was toast, toasted wheat bread to boot. With a cheese, and everything else that came with it, I was happily pleased with it all. Especially the carrot that tasted like pickled because it was laying on one. I will never forget that taste that I enjoyed so much on that day. The prices for beer are actually impressively cheap. I really have no complaints on this place and I think that what they do to get people's names on the wall for drinking 70 different beers from all around the world is really cool. I might have to try it one day. Thanks to all the people at Murphy's for putting on a great St. Patrick's Day for this fan. Oh, and by the way, they make such good popcorn. From Karoake, swing dancing, and live bands. You can sit here for hours to lounge and socialize. It recommended for couples since it brings somewhat of a romancing feeling. You cannot just come on board on the ship anymore just to get drinks at the observartion bar. You must have a valid reason to be on board. Dinner reservations, ghost tours or bing loco nights. I highly recommend coming here after any events you have on the ship. The bartenders are really cool people. If it gets hot, you have the option to sit outside. At least from my experience it was pleasant.
