Incredibly rude, dishonest, impolite experience. the service cost $160 and they were tipped 20%. invasive in the home with horrible manners and left so many spots uncleaned. Please save yourself the headache, intrusion and DO NOT USE them. After they take payment, they will be rude and no responsive. read more

I highly recommend using this company! I have dogs and as one could imagine keeping carpets and your sofa clean can be challenging. I was recommended to Carpet Cleaning and I am so happy I found them. I can not reinstate how fresh and clean everything is ! Dave is really easy to get in touch with and was so nice, honest, and personable. I also opted to have my sofa cleaned and that was honestly the best decision ever because it looks so fresh! Prices are very reasonable, and it was great that they were on time and able to work around my schedule! read more

I got my rugs back today and they look even better than before. Would definitely use them again! read more

My heart sank when I noticed the "wet spot" on my brand new sofa and a bashful french bulldog trying to hide in the corner behind a plant. It didn't have removable cushions that I could wash and I was convinced it was ruined. After some fruitless efforts to clean up the mess, I turned to Yelp and stumbled across Local Organic Rug Care. I liked how easy it was to use their website and left a brief note explaining the situation. I got a call back first thing the next morning saying not to worry and that they could even come and clean that afternoon. Same day service! The technician who came was very friendly and professional and seemed to take real pride in his work. He assessed the damage and laid out a few options. I really appreciated that there was no pressure to use a particular service or any attempt at upselling. Twenty minutes later and my couch was good as new. He even made me take a deep whiff just to make sure I was happy with the job he did. He showed me the products he used and explained why he used them as opposed to other products on the market. I hope I won't ever have to schedule another "emergency" cleaning, but I won't worry anymore if I have to, and I'll absolutely hire Local Organic Rug Care again for annual cleanings! read more

Our first baby is on the way, so as part of my "nesting" I decided to have our couch and area rug cleaned and shampooed before her arrival - best idea ever. Everything looks and feels incredibly clean and fresh. They looked clean beforehand, but after seeing the water and residue that was left in the cleaning bucket at the end, I am SO HAPPY that I decided to have this done for our family. Also, there's very little to no scent - and no chemical smells afterward which I was concerned about breathing in. I'll be calling you back next year for a refresh - Thank you read more

Excellent service, super professional, and polite!! These guys did an amazing job. I called for a carpet and sofa cleaning after my move to remove a few years of dirt. Local Organic Rug Care did a nice job with my cream colored couch and shag rug. They managed to return the colors, which had begun to gray and darken with dirt, to their natural state. They used the special "pool" to clean my shag carpet which was much more effective than the typical on-site machines. I was also very impressed with their timely arrival and delivery. I had heard from reviews that they stuck to delivery windows and were easy to arrange pick up/delivery and found that to be true, which was awesome. They were also very communicative throughout the process which gave me a level of security and confidence in them. Definitely recommend them. read more

I had a stain in my couch that needed removal and without doing a ton of research, I had a carpet and upholstery company come to my apartment to take a look. They were going to charge me $500 to clean my couch. Luckily, I was able to reach out to Local Organic Rug Care to get a second opinion. They got to my apartment within an hour to look at the couch. And did an amazing job for less than half of what the other company was going to charge. Great customer service, quick response and competitive pricing - can't ask for much more than that! read more

Can't say enough good things about this company. My grandparents house flooded on Christmas Eve and we needed someone who could come ASAP to clean our rugs and antique furniture before the mold and the bad smell started to soak in. I called few companies and Local Organic Rug Care responded first out of everyone which was good news because my friend recommended them to me as well. They ended up sending a crew early this morning to do the cleaning for us. The crew was honest and friendly. They gave us a good price even with the short notice and holiday weekend which really surprised me. They really went above and beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the NYC area! read more

I narrowed my choice down to 3 based on reviews. I called each company; 1 was much higher priced, 2 was reasonable and 3...never returned my call. Boo. I went with reasonable and got more than expected. The communication and customer service is on point. My rugs were rolled up, but David insisted on giving a full evaluation in front of me. He unrolled, inspected. Unrolled, inspected. Unrolled, inspected. So thorough! Both are wool and 1 had 2 old stains on it. I will have to follow up with feedback on that once I unroll them again, but I needed to write something because these guys are great. I love when you can tell that someone loves their job because they're really good at what they do. I HIGHLY recommend and love supporting local businesses! xo read more

I moved into a new apartment with DISGUSTING carpet. I thought it was going to be ok but after one night of sleeping in the room with the carpet I panicked and needed someone to clean it ASAP. I called around 10 am and Richard was able to come out that same day! The service was not only quick, but also very good. The cleaning was very thorough and took out stains and muck from a really gross old carpet. Very very pleased with the service. read more

These guys were great! I just moved to NYC a few weeks ago and the previous tenants left their couch for my roommate and I to have... which we thought was awesome at first. Then we saw the couch when we moved in and we immediately saw why they left it for us... It desperately needed to be cleaned! So my roommate heard about these guys and they came over on a SUNDAY, which was so convenient for my roommate and I since we didn't want to take time off from work during the week. They arrived on time and were extremely professional. Not to mention they were outgoing and hilarious guys too. The price was cheaper than what I expected and now our couch is super clean and ready to use. I'm no expert on couch cleaning, but I could tell that the products they were using were of high quality. It smells great too! My roommate and I are very happy with how it turned out. We would totally recommend them to our friends. read more
