They took all my things from a 4th floor apartment to a condo with a spiral staircase. I wasn't sure if a queen sized mattress was going to make it up the stairs but it did! We didn't quite make it, instead coming in at slightly over 2.5 hours - rounded up to 2.75. That was the only disappointment. I'll give them 4.7 or 4.8 stars.

My POD was about .20 miles from my front door so a long distance; I gave them a heads up but it was no issue for them. I think it took 4-5 trips so pretty efficient and fast. The guys were nice, communicative, professional and took a lot of care with my stuff. They set up my platform bed for me and put my big furniture right where I needed it. Would totally hires these guys again!

They were very careful with my furniture, wrapped and protected everything. With that in mind, it took about twice as long as the estimate was to move everything. even though I packed everything myself. with double drive time (required by CA law) it ended up being over 12 hours, so the final charge was almost twice as much as the estimate. and there was only 1 container with dishes that was completely shattered. They probably dropped it or dropped something on it, but didn't say anything. I only found out later at night when I was unpacking it. Otherwise they were awesome. They did not waste any time. They were working very hard all day. so if you get an estimate, double it, as with all the wrapping and protecting your stuff, it takes much longer. They offered me an option not protecting my stuff, but I chose to have it protected.

I had Carlos and his team assemble our European style kitchen cabinets. They were made of finished…read morewood and lacquer cabinets. We sent our kitchen assembly instructions ahead of time to make sure they were aware. My overall sense is that Carlos is fairly capable and experienced but either his team or him are not as careful as we had damages to our finished wood toe kicks and our lacquer cabinets looked like they had been dragged over nails as they were being assembled. I didn't appreciate that they made 0 mention of it at all and I had to point it out. As the homeowner, I essentially had to baby sit them for 5 days through the install since it felt like they were incapable / unwilling to read the kitchen cabinet installation instructions in detail and I caught several mistakes early on during the cabinet assembly that made me hesitant to leave it unattended. Carlos's attitude was particularly bad through the entire experience as well. Always made it seem like we were inconveniencing him or being too nit picky even if we caught some mistakes. At one point, he even threatened to quit after the assembly but before the installation simply because he had underestimated the complexity of the project. We did have a 1 day delay due to some plumbing / electrical issues but that's pretty typical as far as kitchen cabinet installations go AFAIK. In the end, they were able to get all the kitchen cabinets installed, albeit with a lot of effort from my end due to the more custom nature of the project. The price was affordable and the work was solid (minus the scratches) but for me the bad attitude wasn't worth it.

I just finished a demolition project that required a dumpster to haul away the debris, and I'd…read moretaken to Yelp to gather pricing from different businesses who offer the service. I ended up going with Same Day Dumpster and was very pleased with the experience. Erick was by far the quickest to reply, his responses were the most professional of the bunch, and his pricing was well defined. He was a little bit more expensive than some of the other quotes that came in, but the quotes I received from other providers were pretty nebulous and seemed to have other strings attached that could potentially drive the price up beyond the quoted price. In any case, I had the dumpster in and out in one day, but Erick did offer the flexibility to keep the dumpster on site for multiple days if needed without driving up the quote, which I appreciated. The drop off and retrieval were both right on time as scheduled by Erick. No issues! PS - If you live in a townhome complex situation where it's hard to see / identify street numbers, I would advise making sure to be on site when the dumpster delivery comes in. If I hadn't been there to direct the driver, the dumpster would have ended up in my neighbor's driveway.

I want to start of by saying this is my first time using the Yelp app. I was struggling to find a trustful moving company, so I went ahead and took my friend's suggestion on finding movers here on Yelp since this is a very reliable site. Thanks Yelp, I was very satisfied with my search. I am a kind of a person who always reads reviews before buying/spending money on something. Through Yelp I was able to narrow down my search and ended up finding this Local&Regional Movers company. Now, let me share my experience with this company. I am very pleased with their work and to be honest I am a little surprised. They were quick to respond to my questions. They went above and beyond my expectations and did a very neat job packing my belongings. I especially liked the way they wrap the furniture with blankets first in order not to cause any damage. The packing was very neat, organized, and very well planned. I want to mention and complement the movers, they were polite and respectful, very organized, as well as very considerate. The work was quick and fast paced. You guys did a very good job and I am thankful to you for decreasing my stress during this chaotic and frustrating times of moving. As you can see from my satisfaction above, I highly recommend this company to anyone who's in this tense time of moving. We got a call from Big Jay the morning of the move to let us know they were on their way. They showed up on time, worked non-stop, and did everything that was requested plus more! In this kind of weather, I wasn't in the mood to move everything by myself, so my lazy butt found this place and I gave it a shot and called them. I needed to move my things to my new house by the end of this week since my landlord gave me a two-week notice to move out after my lease was over. These guys were fantastic! They were quick and very determined to get things done! They stacked my boxes neatly and tidied everything up. Super professional! Overall, I couldn't be happier with my experience. The movers were professional, polite and hard workers. Sam, Destin, George and Pavlo worked from sunrise to sundown in the blistering heat to get our family re-located on one of the hottest days. In the past my wife and I would do all the packing ourselves but as our family got bigger with 2 little boys we decided to let them pack most of our belongings for us. Definitely appreciate the balance since moves can be so hard in general. We accidentally broken a lamp, (it was no one's fault really) and they were willing to give us a small discount. We didn't think they needed to but really appreciate the gesture. We had enquired with quite a few moving companies in the city and they had the most compelling price and rating. These guys were great when I needed to move my 1 BR apartment. It was very easy setting up the move with Sam and he answered all of my questions promptly. I only needed two guys and a small truck and they showed up on time ready to go. My move took 2.5 hrs and I was happy to pay the 3hr minimum. Was not charged any hidden fees or for any packing materials (I already had everything packed, they just wrapped my furniture with pads and plastic wrap). We are moving from a three bedroom, two level, townhouse. Local&Regional movers on yelp. They gave us a competitive quote and seemed professional, so we hired. Arrived on time, were receptive to instructions, worked hard, were careful, and caused no damage. We had a three man crew. They got everything moved out and transported about five miles away to a storage facility, where they unloaded and packed into our unit. All done in 3.75 hours. Nice job. Two young health men show up on time daren and tim at first they wored hard my sister and i went and bought them expensive bottles of energy vitiam water and later at the new apt i bought them lunch, after luch they went into snail mode only moving one item and very slow from truck to new apt killing lots of time added an unnessary hour to an already three hour miminum the very piece i was concerned about all of of sudden was the last pc to come off truck but darin came up to tell me there was no way they could get it on elevator or they could bring it up the stairs, i was starting to boil by now because they had already broke a drawer in my bedroom dresser a missing handle off my nightstand and a top to a new plastic container was missing, i said u call your boss he did came back said Joesph told him they could come back tommror with a new crew but it would cost me a miminum of three hours which they charge 60 to 70 dollars and hour i was furious with him and raised my voice a bit i admit telling him how wrong he was to hold my last pc hossatge sorta by only bringing it up to my apt if i pay for a minium of another three hours i told him to tell his men to put it in a parking spot in our secured garage we where through done no more i was screwed nothing more i could do.daring took my number said he would call later and come back and move it. Funny three hours later the same guy who could not move the base now called to say he had help and could come move the unit for cash, I told him thank u but i had it handled aready. Proven they are con artist from the top to the bottom. They arrived on time, ready to work. They were professional and efficient. Everything made it without incident. When a week before our move we needed to change a date by two weeks because of construction delays, that was not a problem. When at the last minute we asked if we can add a piano to the list of moved items, that was fine as well. But most importantly was the care the guys took with our items! They wrapped every piece in the soft blanket and added plastic wrapping outside to keep in place. They stacked items in the way that nothing would get damaged. On delivery, they were on time and moved everything to designated rooms and assembled everything we needed! No scratches or damages in the house when moved out or moved in! All the horror stories I heard from friends who have moved before and I was so worried about - not the case with this team! Highly recommend!

He either is over worked, or just doesn't care. but we won't try again with him, we will go somewhere else that is more professional and keeps to their commitments.

A lot of these companies do business from their sofas and don't actually even have a warehouse or business office .Do what you want I choose a licensed company

My moving was all within my house-- moving beds, which involved stairs, and a tricky, taking apart and putting together of a bed frame. They did it beautifully and also moved around some other pieces of furniture. There's a two-hour minimum, which I didn't need, but I think is completely reasonable and $160 was well worth it for me.
