Located on King Street in the theatre district, this is a place that has a vibe of typical chain restaurant but I'm not sure if there are any other locations. We came around 5 pm and chose to just get shareable items before our show. Menu is burgers, salad, pasta, steak and seafood etc., most with lobster in the food description. Service is very good. When we arrived we were offered a complimentary glass of Chardonnay and during dinner we were check in on at least 3 times with once being the manager of the evening. What was ordered: Chicken sliders - 3 to an order; just okay, nothing spectacular LBB nachos - drizzled with lobster cheese sauce but no actual pieces of lobster; nacho chips seem old Lobster Mac and Cheese ($36.00) - you can taste bits of lobster in the dish but flavor wise was nothing amazing. The service made this place a 4, otherwise based on food alone? I would have ranked a 3.
The weekday lunch buffet has no burgers & definitely no lobster, but it's only $23 & has roast beef. The food was a Mish Mash of cuisines & different from the usual menu. All dishes were at least pretty tasty. Even the sushi was pretty good (this is not a sushi place) & the seaweed was the crispest I've had at a buffet. Roast beef was not the best cut but was tender & medium rare. At this price there's nothing to complain about. The biggest surprise was the roasted peppers which were really tender & had a great grill flavour. Potato salad with white balsamic dressing was good too with firm potatoes & a novel dressing. The fried rice was Japanese style so don't expect Chinese style. Stuffed basa had a good flavour & balance. The toppings didn't overpower the fish yet were not so weak that you only tasted the fish. Even the deep fried items (shrimp & wings) were good - not the usual buffet cheap crap. The only flaw was the desserts, eg the cream puff was a little dry. The tanghulu came out slowly but was not worth waiting for - the fruit was too big & the candy layer too soft & too thick.

For the value, the sushi was surprisingly very good and constantly replenished, the carving station was decent and the vegetarian/vegan options were quite good. The two servers that took care of our table were fantastic as our plates never piled up. The ambiance was great as the music was good, the lighting was sufficient and the bathrooms were very clean. I will definitely be back to try the dinner menu as well as the happy hour options in the very near future
At $55, the Winterlicious dinner was a steal, with plenty of choice across both starters and mains. I landed on the lobster cakes and was pleasantly surprised when a trio arrived atop a bed of sweet corn succotash. Fluffier than classic crab cakes but still packed with seafood, they were hot, crunchy, and disappeared far faster than expected. Then came the seafood boil... I was floored by the size. A massive bowl overflowing with prawns, mussels, crab legs, corn, potatoes, and sausage hit the table. The seafood itself isn't top tier (frozen crab legs and small mussels), but there was more than enough of it, and for a Winterlicious special, it absolutely delivered. Even better, nothing was overcooked, which can be difficult when you're serving so many diners. Flavour-wise, it leaned more satay than Creole, and it was definitely on the salty side, especially for a dish that arrives without bread. The sausage made everything a bit too oily and were so salty that it was inedible and could've been left out. That said, the potatoes soaked up the seasoning beautifully and were soft, comforting, and satisfying. Dessert was a dense, creamy cheesecake. The graham crust was thicker and harder than I'd like, but once broken up and eaten with the cake, it added a buttery, nutty crunch that worked. I appreciated that the topping stayed neutral with berries, letting the cheesecake itself shine. What Lobster Burger Bar gets right is balance. The space isn't stuffy or overly formal, rather there's a casual elegance that makes it feel approachable. The staff were a big part of that. Victoria and Jay introduced themselves naturally and checked in just enough to make us feel well taken care of without hovering. Even the drinks were pleasantly affordable. My vodka martini rang in at $15 instead of the $10 "certain hours" price listed on the menu, but it was strong enough that I didn't feel like nitpicking. Their special cocktail, Sexy & Free, a nod to & Juliet currently playing in Toronto, was only $8 and stayed that way on the bill. Peachy, light, and dangerously easy to drink.
Great experience at the Sunday all-you-can-eat! The vibe was immaculate; not only was the food tasty and served fresh, but the drinks were the high light of the night. Good quality liquor and all you wanted-- can't complain there! As well, the staff were very attentive and ensured that the night went smoothly. Two managers (i think?) were in attendance and went around the tables to ensure guests were happy. Bonus points for individual washroom stalls-- that is always a plus in my books!
First time trying lobster burger bar and don't think it will be our last! We went to check out their daily happy hour deal and it was pretty solid. As part of the happy hour menu, they offered $5 drinks and half priced appetizers and sushi. In terms of the food, I definitely recommend their lobster bisque, crab cakes, and sushi tacos (crunchy and saucy at the same time). Everything we ordered was delicious! The service in the beginning was great but then it suddenly slowed down and our waitress forgot about our table? We were also celebrating a birthday which I've noted in the reservation but that wasn't taken into an account. The place is spacious and fairly clean.
I think I was expecting more from this place, but there was some positives. Service was good. We had a friend birthday and they were kind enough to do a little chocolate cake on the house. We got the lobster risotto, mini lobster rolls, lobster cakes, and the rainbow salad. I thought the risotto was good as well as the mini lobster rolls. Price was what you'd expect downtown Toronto for this kind of food. Makes lobster more accessible as there are some expensive seafood places but this place is quite casual in nature. The owner came to have a chat with us as well which was nice.
Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Lobster Burger Bar. Came in after a showint at Roy Thomson Hall closeby, and it was a great spot to wind down afterward. The lobster roll was delicious fresh, well-seasoned, and very satisfying. The vibe was lively but comfortable, and service was friendly and efficient. Overall, a solid experience and a great post-show stop. Will be back :)
Lobster Burger Bar has a fantastic happy hour deal, especially for downtown Toronto. I believe it runs between 2PM-5PM, while we made it for the 8PM-close time slot that is available on weekdays. My friends and I dropped in recently after hunting for a deal in the King Street West area (we were not successfully) and were genuinely impressed by the quality, value, and vibe. Drink specials were appreciated, with handcrafted cocktails, draft beers, and rail drinks all offered at great prices. I especially loved the $14 margarita flight, which was a perfect sharing option between 3. We also ordered a bottle of wine - for 50% off, why not? All appetizers are 50% off as well, which is an amazing value. They have some great options, which aren't even that pricey BEFORE the discount. I would recommend everything we ordered - lobster bisque, popcorn shrimp, LBB nachos, calamari, and lobster cakes. It did seem like we ordered most of that appetizer menu. For all this food, plus our drinks, it only came out to about $100 for three people - an amazing deal. Everything tasted great of course. The atmosphere is stylish, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. Whether you're catching up with friends or just treating yourself after work, this spot delivers. I'll definitely be back!
The staff were lovely and attentive. The lunchtime buffet price was incredible and ordering a refillable soft drink was an additional dollar only. Good variety of proteins, veggies and sushi. I would recommend that management ensure that their salad greens is fresh, (as I noted the lettuce leaves to be browning). The kale in the hot plate was a bit bland. Overall, a lovely experience and nice ambiance.
This place has a lot to offer: high quality seafood and lobster rolls, burgers and handhelds, steaks and lamb shanks, desserts, cocktails, wine and beer, great vibe and good quality service. You can even hold events here. We got here on a weekday night and there was a small private event at that bar. We ordered "Black Truffle Rolls" with sweet potatoes and "Wagyu Burger" paired with white wine. Our food was fresh and delicious. I would definitely would like to come back and try more of their menu options.
I give the service, food and ambience 5 stars! This restaurant knows how to treat their customers well and serve good food and drinks without the hefty price tags in the downtown core. We chose this place for a quick bite before the show due to its proximity to the Royal Alexandra theatre. We went with combo 1 to be shared between the two of us and chose to upgraded our fries to lobster supreme fries and chose lobster bisque as a side. We had the option to upgrade the 1lb lobster to 2lb but we didn't as it was enough food to be shared. The food came promptly and the manager came by multiple times to chat and check up on us. It was a wonderful experience leaving us in good spirits for the show. A great place for decent seafood and service and will definitely be back!
Overall rating: 4.7/5 Came here on a recommendation from a foodie friend for their Summerlicious menu, and we were blown away. This is coming from someone who's not a lobster fan! Lobster roll: small chunks of lobster in a light mayo mixture, piled onto a beautiful, toasted roll (reminded me of Chinese bakery egg bread). Love that they didn't go heavy on mayo and lobster wasn't mushy, so I could actually taste the lobster and enjoy the texture. Honestly the only thing I wanted more was for the roll to be toasted with garlic butter. For an extra $3, I upgraded my side to the lobster chowder, which was rich and satisfying. I'm glad I got the side, because the appetizer size would've been too much for me. Lobster penne: This was probably the least exciting dish for us. It was packed with lobster flavour, but I wish there were larger lobster chunks to improve the overall texture of the dish. It was quite heavy with the cream-based sauce (so if you're in the mood for carb & cream heaven, go for it). Lobster cakes: Pleasantly surprised by the portion size for the price! Perfectly crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, and paired so well with the corn and spicy mayo. And we could definitely taste the lobster (so it wasn't just filler ingredients). But the thing that really made the dining experience amazing was the service. The manager made the effort to introduce themself, learn (and remember) our names, and checked in from time to time. This is not a one-off occurrence - my friend said this happened to them too. Can't wait to come back again!

Located on the corner of King St W, don't let the name deceive you coz they serve way more than just lobsters. They have a weekend AYCE brunch for $48 where you get fresh sashimi, sushi, lobster rolls, roast beef and hot food buffet. And there's dessert too. Plus if you add $25 you get bottomless mimosas as well! I think they have quite a few good deals going on pretty much all the time. Their happy hour menu also seemed really great with $5 cocktail options available. Something I might come down to check out soon. Overall the service is good, vibe and food is great. I came here for the lunch buffet ($23) and it did not disappoint. For the price you pay, there is so much variety and choices to choose from. Flavours and quality were good too. There's sushi, salad, seafood, rice and noodles, vegetables, deep fried items, meats, and desserts to choose from. I was definitely full and satisfied after my meal. My favourites were the deep fried sushi and stuffed baja fish. Tables and seats were very comfortable. Restaurant is clean. Staff are nice and attentive. After hearing so much about this restaurant, I was looking forward to experiencing their Sunday all-you-can-eat, all-you-can-drink brunch. Unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. One thing worth noting is that if you're provided with a menu, not everything listed is available as part of the buffet. Certain seafood dishes and desserts are reserved for à la carte service, which wasn't immediately obvious. The experience started a little inconsistently. Some tables received a welcome drink while others did not, and there didn't appear to be any explanation for the difference. The atmosphere also wasn't quite what I expected. It often felt as though the dining room was geared more toward content creation than enjoying a leisurely meal. Buffet lines became quite long at times as some guests paused to set up ring lights and film multiple shots before moving on. Throughout the afternoon, ring lights remained in use at several tables, and a few groups could be heard repeating their toasts to capture the perfect video. While I understand that's part of the social media culture today, it did take away from what could have been a more relaxed dining experience. As for the food, it was enjoyable but ultimately didn't stand out. Given the restaurant's reputation, I had expected a bit more in terms of quality and freshness. Toronto has no shortage of excellent sushi restaurants, many of which offer a stronger culinary experience in a more relaxed setting. One interaction with the manager also left me a little puzzled. While checking in with our table, he seemed surprised to learn that we were locals, mentioning that most guests he speaks with are visiting from out of town. Considering the restaurant's location beside one of the city's major theatres in the Entertainment District, I wasn't sure why that was unexpected. He then shared that he never leaves the city for anything, which made for an unusual conversation and didn't feel especially relevant to our dining experience. Overall, I can understand why the restaurant appeals to those looking for a lively, social media-friendly outing. For me, however, the focus seemed to lean more toward the atmosphere than the food itself. Was a spur of the moment venture and I was not disappointed. The music first of all was the vibe I needed. In town for Caribana and the grooves of soca and dancehall made me want to get on the table. I picked out with their late night happy hour. Dining alone we surely don't want to spend a lot. I had the mussels and the dragon roll. Both were on point and tasty. The staff was welcoming and communicative. Loved this experience. I'll definitely come back and bring a group. read more
My colleague and I walked in on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, and found this place recessed and right off the street! We were greeted promptly. As we walked in, the modern rustic ambiance was captivating and warm. Dristy was our waitress, and she informed us that along with her, the bar staff would be serving us. It was nice to see how close this team is. There were multiple waitresses and even the general manager JJ, making sure everyone's experience was absolutely great. I asked Dristy her opinion on either the lobster sandwich or the salmon sandwich and what side she would recommend. With her recommendation, I selected the lobster sandwich with truffle fries, which was a plentiful portion. The service is absolutely worth mentioning, but the food is next level in regard to how fresh, flavorful, and the level of quality put into these meals! The lobster sandwich was so flavorful, cooked perfectly and presented so well. I'm hoping the kitchen staff gets to see this because they are doing an excellent job. First time coming here and I would say it's pretty worth it for the price and the amount of lobster you get in every dish. We got the lobster roll (classic and truffle), the lobster burger and the combo. The food is not to die for but I did really enjoy everything. It's simple, you basically can guess what it tastes like by looking at the photos. The only thing that really made it a 4 star is that you can never find a waitress. I passed by this place many times but never got the chance. It is a seafood restaurant and they are known for the lobster burger or lobster rolls. So, my colleague had some time to spare and decided to dine here for dinner before leaving downtown. Unfortunately, we showed up after work at 5 pm and we missed the happy hour. If I knew about the happy hour beforehand, I would have left work early. Looks like all appies are 1/2 off during happy hour. The decor was not bad. It is quite nicely decorated. Seating was comfy. We ended up sitting in a booth. I got the Lobster Black Truffle roll and substituted the fries with lobster bisque. The lobster bisque was a bit disappointing. It had a burnt taste. The lobster roll was fabulous. The roll was somewhat small but it was very tasty. Service was good. I will definitly be back another time. read more
I love that this place is dog friendly!!! There is a good number of tables outside for you and your pup but there's always going to be a wait. They were giving out free samples of dog food which was a plus. There is also a dog friendly menu! I ordered a lobster roll and it was pretty good. It was on the smaller side but it had a good amount of meat. My sister got the risotto and my boyfriend got the wagyu burger. They both said they food was good. I would definitely return!! They had pretty good drinks too. read more

August 20/2023: Sunday bunch with my Al. This is a cool restaurant. The place was EMPTY for a Sunday lunchtime. The service was solid. Our server "Hannah" was very nice & polite & nice to talk with. I had the main dish of the lobster burger bar...the Truffle Roll with Fries. I added an xtra 2oz of Lobster & xtra 2oz of truffle sauce. Man this was one EXPENSIVE SANDWICH! Service here is really great, very attentive and friendly staffs! Restaurant is pretty big and comfortable, with dim lighting for a cozy atmosphere. Lobster rolls and the fries were great! I would recommend the original lobster over the truffle one, as the truffle does over power the freshness of the lobster. I stopped in for a beer at LBB after finding Mascot Brewery c/w Yelp check in offer for beer flights closed unexpectedly. It's up the stairs, and easy to find right across the street from Roy Thompson Hall. My experience here was very pleasant with each interaction with staff a pleasure. I would happily recommend this spot as somewhere to take people from out of town after walking around this entertainment district downtown. It's a nice alternative from the typical noisy and flashy sports bar or British pub, with soft lighting, quiet music and generally chill atmosphere. Where I sat at the bar it was a beautiful spot indeed. There are several beers on tap, so I picked an IPA and enjoyed that. Pints are on the pricy side, $10 plus tip, and since it is in a tourist area that should be expected and not out of line with other businesses. Love to go back and try some lobster dishes! read more

We tried this spot during Summerlicious. Was quite good if a little pricey. Candidly one of the things I like the best was the lobster bisque. It was the bomb. I did have a lobster truffle roll. It was quite nice although pretty thin on the lobster. Very tasty with the fries though. I would recommend. The desserts were very good, a peanut butter cheesecake and a chocolate lava cake. Both were excellent and quite filling. This restaurant is located right on King West, so there is no parking on the street. You can however get there easily by transit, or you can park in Roy Thompson Hall which is close by. read more

10/10 experience. I made a reservation for 8pm on a Friday night. We were seated right away. The inside of this restaurant is quite big and cozy. They have a bar area and a dining area. We sat at a booth in the dining area. We ordered the Classic Lobster Roll ($25) and substituted the fries for Caesar salads. We also ordered the Lobster Fries Supreme ($19). The lobster rolls were delicious, there was a pretty decent amount of lobster in them. The lobster fries supreme was pretty good as well, we didn't realize it doesn't come with lobster chunks until after we ordered it, however the gravy is a lobster bisque gravy which was still pretty tasty. The food also came within 10 minutes and tasted fresh. The staff here are very friendly. From the hostess team to our server to the manager that came by our table and introduced herself. We were overall impressed and will most definitely be coming back. read more
Lobster and Frites 3.75/5 ($34 - MP) Strawberry Margarita 4.3/5 ($15) . . Lobster was delicious! I got mine steamed with garlic herb and it was tasty. It's on the smaller side so I recommend sizing up your lobster. Wasn't a huge fan of the fries combo, so I will probably just go for a larger lobster alone or the combo 1 which includes lobster bisque, lobster roll, 1lb lobster and a salad. I'm a huge strawberry fan so the cocktail was really good in my opinion. Not sure about the price point though.... Overall, the meal was good! But next time I'm back I'll probably just get the plain lobsters and maybe go for the $6 cocktails. Service was also really slow, I found that all the waitresses behind the bar were highly inattentive. you may have had a taco bell fries supreme before but have you ever had a LOBSTER FRIES SUPREME ?! the lobster cheese gravy is just sooo good over the fries and anything dipped in it really - especially their sweet potato tater tots (must try) I do love a good lobster roll and there aren't many good ones in toronto, so def a good place to find lobster rolls year round If you're looking for a place to pre, they also have happy hour, so 50% off apps (including lobster fries supreme ) & cocktails for as low as $5! they have a variety of other mains too that aren't seafood related for ppl who aren't big fans of lobster. read more
