I hate to leave a bad review, as I've been coming here for years and years. But ever since new management, the service has gone down. Today I called at 1:19pm to request a pedicure with Kim at 2:00pm. I was told she would be available at 3:00pm. I made the 40min drive and waited in the parking lot until 3pm. When I walked in, I was told Kim is on vacation and they asked me to come back another day. They did not offer for someone else to serve me, but for me to leave. I insisted I needed the service today, and pointed to another tech who was finishing up. She hesitantly accepted to do my Pedicure. No Apology, No Solutions offered. Just bad service. Went in and received poor service. The owner was the one did dipping powder for me, she was so rough and got my finger injured with a deep open cut while she manual file my nail. I expressed the pain and showed her the cut she did to me, she said:"At least it's not bleeding." then continue her careless work without doing any clean to prevent infection. When I asked her to clean the dirt under nails before dipping in the powder she said she would do it AFTER all process finished. Hygiene issue should be concerned. When I got home after buying antibiotics cream from pharmacy, I noticed there were fluff under the nail gel and other defectives, I called in and expressed the poor mani result needed to be fixed, the owner replied :" So what do you want? I don't have time to fix it. I can give your money back." and hung up the phone directly. I had to call again to ensure how is she going to do the refund but the phone was ignored intentionally. Today I went in and the owner roughly grabbed my hand to check the defective mani result. Really rude. This experience is absolutely terrible. I hope no one will get injured from nail service. And if any of you have similar experience please do share, so others can prevent to go to a poor quality salon. read more

This is the first time i've been back to LNG since they opened up after being closed due to COVID-19. First the good...pedicure was great...my feet always get calluses quickly so it felt great to have the calluses removed and then placed in a bag with warm wax. My shellac manicure turned out great too. I was surprised that the price had gone up. With 20% tip it was $80. for Shellac mani and regular pedicure. They don't take cash right now. My complaint is that the mask rule was not being adhered to by many of the clientele. I had to ask the owner to tell one woman to put on her mask as I felt uncomfortable with her speaking loudly to another woman across from her. Some clients didn't cover their nose...what's wrong with you people? COVID-19 is serious...Wear your mask properly inside ...it's the law. read more

I came in for a Mani/Pedi today and was very impressed! The service was excellent they geniuenly care about doing a good job and also want to make you feel special. The owner struck up a long conversation with me. I never see this at similar priced nail salons. Rather those places treat you like a number and it is very in and out. I have now been to LNG Nails three times for a pedicure. And have become a happy regular customer. Laurie is fabulous. She pays meticulous attention to the quality of her work. My feet look fabulous when I leave. The polish lasts for weeks - easily! They also include a paraffin wax as part of the standard service. I had torn my nail recently. Laurie went to great length to explain to me how to take proper care of it so that it healed quickly and didn't get infected. I've never had that level of service in all the years of having pedicures. I love that it is so close and in the neighbourhood. My only small complaint is that I would like a wider variety of OPI red polishes to choose from. read more

The owner, Glenn is very pleasant however the lady who helped me (shellac manicure) was not experienced because entire polished nail on each nail fell off day by day as soon as I left the salon!!! I called in to let them know and showed them pictures of the problem expecting them to say "no worries, we will fix it next time" when I went in next time and reminded them of what had happened, the lady took it personally and started to mutter and made the situation very uncomfortable. Every suggestion Glenn would make, she would counter. I got really uncomfortable as I was made to feel like a free loader. Unfortunately I won't be coming back here after that experience. I realize things don't always go as planned but good service is tested on such moments. read more

They get you in and out as fast as possible and sacrifice the finish (shellac mani, reg pedi always). Only highlight is the paraffin wax for a reg pedicure. Worth going elsewhere. I can't fathom anything negative to say, this is a pure diamond find for me. The most beautiful salon . I had the best pedicure I've ever had with paraffin wrap included and the best massage chairs . After always doing biogel on my nails I tried the calcium powder dip which is healthier. My nails look fabulous . They were very friendly and even gave a complimentary bottle water. I have been to many Etobicoke nail salons that are less than clean and expensive , this by far was super reasonable , beautiful atmosphere , clean and super friendly technicians and far superior to any other salon. Meh The polish was done nice and the place looked good but the pedicure was done as fast as possible. The massage was 30 seconds each foot and I had to go home and exfoliate the soles of my feet myself. Then they left me on an extremely uncomfortable chair for the polish to dry. This place is awful. Period. This is going to be a long review. I was introduced to nugenesis here and after having it done the first time, I was told that it could last up to 4 weeks but if any lifting occurs, to return and they would fix it no problem. After about a week, ALL of them were lifting. So I returned to have them fixed. When she looked at my nails (she's the one who takes the appts) she looked surprised and asked who did them and I said it was actually her. I wasnt upset or disgruntled. I came in like she had advised. At this point her attitude changed 'this can't be. This has never happened before' she told me she only had time to remove but not fix them for me and to return the next day . I was fine with that. Then Pineapple came to help me with the removal. She looked at my nails and was also shocked and asked who applied them for me. And I said it was the lady who just walked away. She asked if I wanted to choose a new colour since I'm removing everything anyway. I said I thought there wasn't time to fix them today and she said she had the time, so I said sure and asked to see the colour wheel. Pineapple's station is next to the original lady's and when I sat down she snaps at me "you can't choose another colour. We're fixing it for free and if you want another colour you have to pay the regular price" at this point I'm beginning to get upset... What have I done to warrant this attitude? So I say I am fine with keeping my original colour, but would like to see the colour wheel just to pass time. I was denied it. I am quietly seething at this point. Halfway through the process that lady turns to me again and says "that's not my fault. We've been offering nugenesis here long time and that has never happened - maybe you use too many chemical products with your hands" I was LIVID now. I responded with saying "I never said it was your fault, I just said you were the one who applied them for me, but maybe they just weren't applied properly" - there was complete silence for the remainder of my time there. When I was all done, I decided to make amends and said, "my friend and I already have another appt here in 3 weeks, we're keeping our spot and I look forward to coming back", to which she responds with, "your friend requested for Pineapple. Tell her to call to reschedule, because pineapple has school and is not available after 3pm" I said, "but our appt is at 1pm..." and she cuts me off and said "she won't be here!"..... Well guess what... She was there.... Which brings me to story #2.... After that awful experience, I went back because they are the only place I know that offers nugenesis and Pineapple did such an amazing job that I figured I'd give them another chance. I didn't get pineapple this time, but another older lady. She was slow... It took 2 hrs... I started before my friend but she finished before me and was halfway through her pedi before my Mani was done. Why? Bc she messed up on a couple of nails and kept doing damage control by patching it up, making it thicker and thicker. I eventually asked her to file it down and start over. I was getting restless. When she was done, I was so eager to leave that I never inspected my nails properly until I started driving and in natural light. I was beyond annoyed. My nails were all different length, all shaped differently, and had gaps/holes/trapped specs in the polish. My friend was still there and I texted her and she told me to go back, but I did not want to spend another minute there. I've decided that I would never return. Fast forward to this week. I decided to give them one more chance bc my nails have really grown out since the last visit and I just needed to have them done and they were RIGHT THERE. I walk in at 7pm, place looks fairly busy and I said I needed a manicure. The original lady said not today. I said, "but you close at 8" and she just said not today.... At that point I did not want to expend the energy and left. So that is a total of 3 strikes. I am fed up with this place that thinks its prestige by hiding behind decent decor, but really if you open your eyes is messy and disorganized with plugged in appliances all over the floor including a rice cooker. The only person there with a good attitude and does nail applications well is Pineapple. read more

The only positive of this space was the staff were very kind and the place itself was clean. With that said, during my mani pedi I was cut twice, had to file my own nails to get matching shape on both hands and had to have the manicurist redo a nail due to her scuffing it up.
