After inviting Bradford out to bid a tile issue happening around a bathtub in an Airbnb we let out,…read morewe hired them under a time plus materials agreement to do some patch, repair and paint as well as squeeze in a temporary fix for the tile repair to accommodate a very tight opening between bookings. I was very fortunate during the current construction conditions (post covid delays etc) that Bradford was able to fit me in to a three day window the week following their bid as they had an opening that could accommodate our project. Bradford's team showed up when promised and worked their shifts reliably and finished three days later (I added a few things to the scope of the project) and they did a wonderful job. I'm delighted to have found Bradford and will definitely be using them for future projects; my only complaint is that I don't have the funds to just keep them going!!! Thank you Melinda, Brad and all of your team.

Melinda is a great communicator, an honest partner in the work, and transparent about cost, timelines, etc. As a first time home buyer and first time home renovator, it was a relief to find such a respectful and kind contractor. The quality of work is also excellent and we're so pleased with the results! I would highly recommend Bradford Building Company to anyone looking for a great home renovation experience.

Moving from California to Utah it was challenging to find a reputable basement contractor. We did…read morethe usual Yelp, Angies List, and Google searches and came up with 6 we felt we should meet with. Out of the six contractors one was too busy another forgot about us. Down to four, two contractors just put together a simple one page bid based on the square footage I gave them. To us this lacked details and they seemed reluctant to put much effort into actually visiting our new home to generate a bid and discussing ideas. Down to two contractors, Centurion caught our attention as they were quicker to respond to all of our questions, to visit our home and provide suggestions for building a better basement while the other builder seemed to be newer in the basement industry and it took several messages to get them to visit our home though they finally did. Both bids came in about the same price but we decided to use Centurion they were more responsive, had more options for us to decide on and we liked that they have been using the same sub-contractors for several years. Hope this helps, meet with Centurion you won't be disappointed.

I was referred, by a local carpet shop, to the Carpet Fixer. One friendly phone call brought a guy to my door just a few hours later for a free quote. It only took a few minutes, the price seemed reasonable and an appointment was scheduled for the next day, even though they mentioned they are usually around 2 days out. Our 'carpet laying technician", I'm assuming that is the technical title, was supposed to come between 11-1 & still wasn't there by 1:20. Their SOP is to call when on their way, and I understand that things don't always go as planned, but I wish someone would have called to let me know he was running late.... However, another quick call to the office gave a revised ETA of 2pm and they did make that. Luckily our day was pretty open so we didn't care much. I didn't talk directly with the guy/guys, as I was playing 'keep the dog from licking the nice people's faces off" in the other room, but I am very happy with the results. All in all, I would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future (although I really hope that occasion will not arise).

***DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY*…read more Initial Complaint Date: 10/09/2025 Type: Service or Repair Issues Status: UnansweredMore info On July 10, 2025 we paid in advance the full amount of $6,817.86 per contract to Remodel Express to have a portion of our hickory wood floor replaced in our kitchen due to flooding. This also included having our kitchen, dining room, living room, front entry way, and hallway sanded, re-stained and polyurethaned to all match. Remodel Express hired a subcontractor, ******, who had two installers come and do our floors. It was expressly discussed with ****** and ******** that we had custom floors and our number 1 concern was to keep the character of the floors and avoid sanding too much off making the floor look like a gymnasium floor. ****** inspected and said that they would just sand down about 1/16th of an inch, just enough to remove the old finish but keep the hand scraped appearance around the edges. His guys came and promptly sanded our floors past the 1/16" th which the guy stated that he sanded them way down because our floor was not level, but it was flat and level now! He did not ask in advance I explained that we had agreed to only sand 1/16th of an inch but that he went too far and sanded out all the hand scraped edges and character of the boards leaving a tightly fitted floor which we did not want. He then told us that he could fix it with a special rotary tool (skill saw) but would have to bring it the following day. He stained the floor and then used his "rotary tool" and ran random, sloppy wide 1/4" gaps randomly all over our floor leaving crooked, splintered, burned and separated areas that looked horrible. He did not even transition the doorways and instead just rubbed stain across without even blending. He commented that his nephew was drunk on the last day and did not show up to help and he was in a hurry for another job and left without notifying us. We complained and the companies both came out and agreed that our floor was poorly done and they would collaborate and get back to us. It has been 4 weeks and they have not returned my calls or texts.
