Matt recently did a complete bathroom remodel for us. He was both knowledgeable and professional. Matt enclosed the work area in plastic sheet, and vented the dust out the window with a filtered vacuum. He cleaned the area after each days work. He was patient, and addressed all our concerns and questions promptly. The tile work was perfect, the vanity cabinet he designed was well made, and customized to our needs, and all the surface work from the floor up was excellent. After firing a different contractor for botching a small bathroom remodel, I called Matt in to clean up the mess and finish the job. He was prompt, knowledgable, reasonably priced and, most importantly, his workmanship was excellent. If only I had known to call him first, my remodel would have been done weeks earlier. One very important thing: unlike most handymen I've encountered, Matt was honest about his abilities. Was waiting for our normal handy-man to come in to fix the fan on our beer draft for about a month, numerous phone calls, etc... I finally got tired of waiting and called Matt, within 20 minutes he was there, in under an hour and a half of calling the fan was fixed AND he found two other issues (the power cord and a blocked condensation line) and had those fixed as well. The owner came over on a Sunday and did the work himself. He worked very hard to install two faucets for me. One faucet was on a sink that dates back to 1942. The faucet was long past its life. It had so many leaks. It was time to replace it. We found a similar faucet and he installed easily. Our bathroom faucet was simple but rotting so bad that the water was just running continually at a steady stream. He replaced and in the process broke his own tool. He had us up and running again in only two hours. Very happy with this guy and his business. He was the fastest person to respond to me on a Sunday. Others sent auto responses or had a service set up an appointment for later in the week. Very happy I called this guy. He worked while we worked to flip an apartment as three gay men painted and told fun stories, this guy was very comfortable with us and gave me a fair price for the work. read more
