After they started the work, they encountered pea gravel beneath the garage and had difficulty keeping the material in place. They attempted to use glue to stabilize it, but ultimately, I received a phone call while I was at work informing me that they would be filling the eight holes they had made in my garage and abandoning the job within the next two hours. I asked them to please leave the holes open so I could find another company to take over the work. Fortunately, one of the other companies that had previously bid on the project was willing to come out, take responsibility for the garage, and continue with the necessary work. The entire situation was extremely stressful. Finding a company, getting multiple bids, and making arrangements for a major foundation project takes considerable time and effort. I would have appreciated an in-person conversation about the issues they encountered and the reasons they were no longer willing to continue the project, rather than receiving a phone call at work with only a couple of hours' notice. The crew initially seemed like they would do a great job, which made the sudden abandonment of the project particularly disappointing. I also want to point out that I was originally told the project would take only a few weeks. In reality, the companies working on foundation lifting in my neighborhood indicated that projects of this type typically take around three months. Based on my experience, I would encourage anyone considering this company for foundation work to ask detailed questions about what happens if unexpected soil or structural conditions are encountered and what the company's policy is if they determine they cannot complete the job. For me, the biggest issue was that the company abandoned the foundation repair after the work had already begun, leaving me to find another contractor to take over.

Unfortunately, I continue to have significant unresolved concerns about whether all of the work I purchased was completed. The proposal separately described targeted PolyLEVEL stabilization and a 1,183-square-foot 2-Part system that included PolyLEVEL under the concrete slabs and NexusPro joint sealant. Before I purchased the project, the salesperson explained that the targeted PolyLEVEL work would involve injections through the concrete slabs and pool capstones for stabilization. He separately explained that the 2-Part system would involve additional PolyLEVEL injections beneath the concrete throughout the treated area, followed by NexusPro joint sealing. The extent of these additional injections was presented as an important component of the system and part of the justification for its cost. I was present during the PolyLEVEL installation and did not observe the additional injections being performed in the manner the 2-Part system had been described to me. When I later raised this concern, I was told that the injections had been performed. I subsequently inspected one control-joint location where the NexusPro application was already incomplete and did not find an injection opening or visible PolyLEVEL foam there. I therefore asked Davenport to provide installation records identifying where the PolyLEVEL associated with the 1,183-square-foot system was actually installed. I have not received that documentation. There were additional incomplete areas. Some PolyLEVEL work did not provide the coverage that had been represented. Planned injections around the pool capstones could not be completed, and the salesperson later acknowledged that omission and offered approximately $220 back for that specific work. That refund has still not been issued. I also found that no PolyLEVEL injections had been performed in the area extending toward the basement stairs, despite that area being shown within the project drawing. There was also a separate, clearly visible problem with the NexusPro installation. Portions of the control joints were left untreated because storage chests and unattached cinder blocks were sitting over them. I specifically asked Davenport the day before the work whether I needed to move anything and was told that I did not. After later moving the objects, I found that the joint sections underneath had not been sealed. Davenport subsequently acknowledged that these sections had been left untreated. I sent Davenport detailed written notices asking for the installation records, clarification of which PolyLEVEL work was performed under each part of the contract, a financial adjustment for incomplete PolyLEVEL work, the previously offered capstone refund, and completion of the unfinished NexusPro. Update 10/06/26: After multiple attempts to resolve this directly, including email correspondence and a certified-mail letter, I have not received a substantive response addressing the remaining issues or providing a timeframe for completion of the acknowledged unfinished NexusPro work. I would still prefer to resolve this directly, but at this point I am proceeding with the remedies available to me. I will update this review if Davenport responds and resolves the matter.

I could not figure out what was causing the leak, which only happened occasionally and without regularity to heavy rain, snow, etc. They came and quickly identified where the issue was likely occurring and described in detail how their waterproofing process does both sealing and water diversion of the affected area. Their demo team was very courteous and cleaned up their mess pretty well. They were also able to schedule me within a few weeks and this was great timing, as a lot of rain has come up where we live near Millcreek Canyon since then. I was told to pay the deposit and they would put us on their schedule. We paid the deposit and a day was set for them to come out, and when they arrived within ten minutes the crew of two said they could not do this job due to rebar and told me that they would make a bigger problem if they tried to repair it. We agreed if that was the case it was better for them not to do the work and they left. When I requested our deposit back they sent a check short $250 for the cost of the trip out to our complex. I ask them several times to come out and make sure the bid was correct and they told me not to worry that they could do the job. When I pointed that out to the office and said I should get my full deposit back I was told I was lucky that was all they were keeping and made it clear that they had our deposit and they made the rules. I ask for the owner to call me and I have heard no more from them. I would not use them again or recommend them to anyone that asks.

We had a pipe freeze with the extra cold weather in November of 2022:This occurred at about 4:30 PM…read moreon a Thursday afternoon. I called Summit Restoration immediately about water leaking ( literally pouring) out of our basement ceiling and down the wall. They verified with me how to shut off the water to stop the damage etc. and said they'd come out withing a few hours.Babu and Ronald came to my home about 2 hours later ( 6;45 PM ) They cut out some dry wall afer verifying the really wet areas and found a cracked hose bib. They were able to turn the house water back on and prevent the hose bib from further leaking, while still getting our water back on that night. The next morning they were back and replaced the broken hose bib, took out the wet damaged dry wall and carpet pad, etc damaged floor boards. They then placed water extraction machines and fans to dry out the basement. It took about 4-5 days to complete the dry out process. The reconstruction process to replace the dry wall, carpet pad , floor boards etc and repainting,etc. took about 4 days. I was actually surprised it could be reconstructed so professionally so quickly knowing how long dry wall mud, taping, and texturing and then repainting with two coats of paint. Every one was nice who worked in our home and adapted to a couple of times we needed to be away or start later. We had family comimg to sty for Thanksgiving: everything was finished like new and cleaned up with some time to spare.

This part of the service was great, which is why I'm giving them 1 star. otherwise I would not give them any starts at all. I was told that they would be able to do the restoration part of the work as well so I went with them. Unfortunately, here we are more than 2 months later and the work is still not done. The tile guy they had come was apparently a newbie and didn't know what he was doing. He ruined two boxes of tiles then told Babu that he was stressed out and so Babu sent a different tile guy. He also left a mess the couple of times he was here and because he didn't bother to clean up his feet, he got crap all over my floors. Furthermore, Babu chastised me for 'not making a decision about the paint color and carpet' when I didn't know I needed to and he had never brought me any carpet samples to choose from. He said my job was taking too long because of my indecision. I had accommodated his 'busy schedule' because of other work he was doing since I wasn't in a real hurry in the beginning. Then when I had to go for a week-long summit for my job, he was upset. Unfortunately, as soon as they got the $1000.00 deposit they ghosted me. I can't get anyone to answer the phone, I can't get anyone to return my calls and I'm not at all happy. I've had to dispute the charge for the deposit because of this. Save yourself the headache and hire a different company. This company is completely unprofessional, rude and unresponsive.

In 2015, we decided to have an in-ground pool and faux rock water feature installed. After seeing…read moretwo different local pools built by BDL Structures featured on two separate cable TV shows, we were excited to meet with them to give us a bid. We ultimately gathered 3 bids and did some research on each of the companies. It should have raised concern in the beginning that BDL had virtually no reviews online, good or bad, but the thought of having "the guy who had pools featured on TV" building our pool, enticed us to select Brad Long of BDL. They had to be the best, right? A TV show wouldn't select a company with a bad reputation or one building substandard structures, right? Brad Long (BDL Structures, LLC) started construction on our pool and faux rock water feature towards the end of 2015. Our experience through the last 4 years (yes, 4 years), has been a nightmare. We ended up in court early this year (2020) seeking reimbursement for funds we had to pay to a second company (at his direction because "he was too busy") to make adequate repairs to the water feature that began falling apart almost immediately. We reached out to Brad repeatedly regarding our concerns about the deterioration of the faux stone structure and his responses were defensive, mentioning how many they've built the same way and that we would never be satisfied. His repairs were a band-aid at best, only patching the most troubled spots. We won in small claims by default judgement because Brad Long failed to appear, waited 30 days for him to appeal the judgement (which he didn't), then contacted him requesting payment of the debt he now owes us. His response was that we were lucky he had things going on and couldn't make it to court which allowed us to win the judgement. While we pursue all avenues to try and collect this debt from Brad Long, we wanted to make public the bad experience we had with BDL Structures. There is no way we would recommend him to anybody, in any capacity. If you have already signed a contract with him, watch over him and his crew every-step-of-the-way, take TONS of pictures to protect your interests and get EVERYTHING in writing.
