I was told to pay the deposit and they would put us on their schedule. We paid the deposit and a day was set for them to come out, and when they arrived within ten minutes the crew of two said they could not do this job due to rebar and told me that they would make a bigger problem if they tried to repair it. We agreed if that was the case it was better for them not to do the work and they left. When I requested our deposit back they sent a check short $250 for the cost of the trip out to our complex. I ask them several times to come out and make sure the bid was correct and they told me not to worry that they could do the job. When I pointed that out to the office and said I should get my full deposit back I was told I was lucky that was all they were keeping and made it clear that they had our deposit and they made the rules. I ask for the owner to call me and I have heard no more from them. I would not use them again or recommend them to anyone that asks.

I called Summit Restoration immediately about water leaking ( literally pouring) out of our basement ceiling and down the wall. They verified with me how to shut off the water to stop the damage etc. and said they'd come out withing a few hours.Babu and Ronald came to my home about 2 hours later ( 6;45 PM ) They cut out some dry wall afer verifying the really wet areas and found a cracked hose bib. They were able to turn the house water back on and prevent the hose bib from further leaking, while still getting our water back on that night. The next morning they were back and replaced the broken hose bib, took out the wet damaged dry wall and carpet pad, etc damaged floor boards. They then placed water extraction machines and fans to dry out the basement. It took about 4-5 days to complete the dry out process. The reconstruction process to replace the dry wall, carpet pad , floor boards etc and repainting,etc. took about 4 days. I was actually surprised it could be reconstructed so professionally so quickly knowing how long dry wall mud, taping, and texturing and then repainting with two coats of paint. Every one was nice who worked in our home and adapted to a couple of times we needed to be away or start later. We had family comimg to sty for Thanksgiving: everything was finished like new and cleaned up with some time to spare.

This part of the service was great, which is why I'm giving them 1 star. otherwise I would not give them any starts at all. I was told that they would be able to do the restoration part of the work as well so I went with them. Unfortunately, here we are more than 2 months later and the work is still not done. The tile guy they had come was apparently a newbie and didn't know what he was doing. He ruined two boxes of tiles then told Babu that he was stressed out and so Babu sent a different tile guy. He also left a mess the couple of times he was here and because he didn't bother to clean up his feet, he got crap all over my floors. Furthermore, Babu chastised me for 'not making a decision about the paint color and carpet' when I didn't know I needed to and he had never brought me any carpet samples to choose from. He said my job was taking too long because of my indecision. I had accommodated his 'busy schedule' because of other work he was doing since I wasn't in a real hurry in the beginning. Then when I had to go for a week-long summit for my job, he was upset. Unfortunately, as soon as they got the $1000.00 deposit they ghosted me. I can't get anyone to answer the phone, I can't get anyone to return my calls and I'm not at all happy. I've had to dispute the charge for the deposit because of this. Save yourself the headache and hire a different company. This company is completely unprofessional, rude and unresponsive.

In 2015, we decided to have an in-ground pool and faux rock water feature installed. After seeing…read moretwo different local pools built by BDL Structures featured on two separate cable TV shows, we were excited to meet with them to give us a bid. We ultimately gathered 3 bids and did some research on each of the companies. It should have raised concern in the beginning that BDL had virtually no reviews online, good or bad, but the thought of having "the guy who had pools featured on TV" building our pool, enticed us to select Brad Long of BDL. They had to be the best, right? A TV show wouldn't select a company with a bad reputation or one building substandard structures, right? Brad Long (BDL Structures, LLC) started construction on our pool and faux rock water feature towards the end of 2015. Our experience through the last 4 years (yes, 4 years), has been a nightmare. We ended up in court early this year (2020) seeking reimbursement for funds we had to pay to a second company (at his direction because "he was too busy") to make adequate repairs to the water feature that began falling apart almost immediately. We reached out to Brad repeatedly regarding our concerns about the deterioration of the faux stone structure and his responses were defensive, mentioning how many they've built the same way and that we would never be satisfied. His repairs were a band-aid at best, only patching the most troubled spots. We won in small claims by default judgement because Brad Long failed to appear, waited 30 days for him to appeal the judgement (which he didn't), then contacted him requesting payment of the debt he now owes us. His response was that we were lucky he had things going on and couldn't make it to court which allowed us to win the judgement. While we pursue all avenues to try and collect this debt from Brad Long, we wanted to make public the bad experience we had with BDL Structures. There is no way we would recommend him to anybody, in any capacity. If you have already signed a contract with him, watch over him and his crew every-step-of-the-way, take TONS of pictures to protect your interests and get EVERYTHING in writing.
